Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the picture quality, price, easy setup, and Roku integration of the 58" Class - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR - Roku TV. They appreciate the amazing picture quality, user-friendly Roku TV operating system, and reasonable price point. However, some customers have concerns about the short lifespan, durability issues, remote control design, screen issues, and instances of the TV unexpectedly stopping working.

This television lasted us just over 2 years and it’s dead now. I researched the problem and it’s a common one at around the 18 month mark.

I bought 2 of them Dec 30th. January 2nd both tvs Mac addresses were all zeros. Out of nowhere. Worked great for a couple days after that it wasn't letting me go online at all to stream nothing unless directly connected threw Ethernet cable and that didn't work for me at all. I called sharp they said sounded like a issue with internal panel that lets you use internet. And offered to have someone come out and fix issue I decided against it because it happened to both tvs at the same time. Took back to Best buy and exchanged for little smaller tcl 4 series around same price I hope same thing don't happen. So far so good for tcl

I like the TV but the included stand is INSANELY small. The tv rocks back and forth even when I made sure I tightened the screws. My roommate reached behind it and knocked over. TV lasted less than a month.

I have to connect to internet every time I turn it on. None of my other TVs need me to do that. I will never buy again bc I stream and not have cable connection

    Great TV for any price

To start, this is my first 4K TV. It replaces a 4 YO 46" 1080P TV. I have DirecTV so my pic quality is VG. But I was shocked at the clarity of this TV, the ease of use, it's very user friendly. I hate the ROKU remote, it's too small, has limited and not user friendly usage, but they make decent universals I will upgrade too. I know what this TV is, a hisense made in Mexico TV. It's not a SONY or Samsung. I get that. But it's pic is great. I have no issues with refresh rate, I am not a gamer. But I have watched many sporting events in past week and they are VG. For the price, I bought the extended coverage for $50/2years. I never buy extended coverage, but not wanting to replace in next years, I figured why not. All said, after 1 week, it's a great buy, for any price. I have MANY other things to spend an additional $200-300 for a "name" brand. I don't live for TV, I just want a nice pic.

Picture would randomly go out but sound continued to play. Would have to turn the TV off to get the picture to come back on. Had to take it back, and opted for a different brand.

I hard wired with Ethernet cord and connection is very loose. I get 10m with connection which leads me to believe it is not a gig connector. Still get better speeds than wifi and can make it work. Just wish it was better.

This tv worked great for 2 years and then tonight the screen flickered and went black. I’ve had several Sharp tv sets and I’ve always been able to give them to someone when I was ready for a new one and they worked for several more years for the new owner. This is the first one that didn’t last at least 5 yrs. I’m very disappointed in this television. I was expecting to get at least 3 more yrs out of it.

This TV lasted me less than 2 years! Screen went black all of a sudden and will not turn back on. Researched and it sounds like my power supply board went bad. Seems to be a common issue with this model. Not even worth replacing because it's reported that not all replacement parts are compatible. Called it a loss and will never buy a larger Roku TV again. I've had luck with smaller 40" and 32" ones.

Waiting a week for delivery, finally delivered, set it up, played a movie for 20 mins and it shut off. Had to exchange. I know these products are their "Holiday models" but I would expect more than 20 mins of use. (and yes, I do have it on a surge protector[which is only about 8 months old), along with three other devices that are still running just fine. I tried unplugging and plugging back in, also in different outlets and nothing still) when it did work, for those 20 mins, the picture was OK, at best.

    Well worth the money

Purchased this as a gift for a family member, and they absolutely love it. When you consider the price, this TV is a great deal! Picture was great right out of the box. Sound is decent, but they have a sound bar so that was never a concern. Watched a few 4K movies on Netflix and the pic was amazing, bright and vibrant. Setup was easy, TV was out of the box and working within minutes. I think the key to this TV is having realistic expectations - if you want a decent 4k TV at a very reasonable price then this TV more than fits the bill. It seems to me that the people who give this TV negative reviews are comparing it to TVs that cost twice the price. If you are that picky then spend the $900 to begin with.

They don't even sell this TV anymore so at least I don't have to tell you not to buy it. but this TV only lasts for 2 years before it shuts down and theres nothing you can do about it. I wish I would have brought an extended warranty because since it is out of the 1 year warranty Sharp cannot do anything about it. 0 stars, would not recommend any Sharp or Hisense products ever!!!

I was initially satisfied with this tv but suddenly less than two years after purchase the tv died with several attempts to troubleshoot. After looking to see if this issue is common I’ve seen numerous individuals with the same horror story as me. Since this is over a year it’s out of the factory warranty and now I have to purchase a new tv unexpectedly. I am highly disappointed and dissatisfied with this product.
