The sound is terrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price it is not bad. The picture and everything is decent I have seen a lot better. I wish I would've stuck with LG but the price tempted me. My biggest complaint is the sound, you have to turn the tv way up to hear anything. I will be returning and getting an LG.

This TV sucks!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will NEVER buy another TV from Best Buy again. I purchased this TV in 2019. It is now early 2021, the TV doesn't work. Sharp customer service was horrible, they told me the warranty was ONLY for 1 year. They told me it was nothing they could do to fix my TV that is currently showing a black screen. This TV is garbage. The picture was going in and out for months but due to the pandemic, I wasn't able to contact Sharp customer service. Also, the TV would flicker and then be fine, then months later flicker again. The geek squad plan is 2 years and cost almost $60. I didn't have the funds to purchase it, I wish I did now I am out of $380 bucks. NEVER AGAIN! I work too hard for mediocre customer service. You don't expect your TV to die less than TWO years after purchase. This is the SECOND TV, I purchased from Best Buy that died less than 2 years later. I am very disappointed. After this ordeal, I learned Costco or BJ will give you a longer warranty for 3-5 years at a much cheaper cost! Best Buy please give me my $$$ back.

Not Sharp at all; in fact, it's Hisense in China
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do NOT recommend this set for anyone. The first problem was ROKU. I found it almost useless for my regular needs. The lack of a browser was infuriating. The second problem was that the first two I had failed within less than two weeks; one for an undiagnosed loss of Input audio signals repeatedly. The second for a KNOWN flaw in design and manufacture that should have sent these models all to the scrap heap; a loss of VIDEO signals intermittently. The last straw was that this in not even made by Sharp; it was made by Hisense in China. DO NOT BUY THIS.

Didn’t even last 17 months!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this TV 17 months ago and it has died. Won’t power on. Warranty is only 12 months so now I’m stuck with a $400 tv that doesn’t work. Won’t be purchasing a Sharp tv again!

Garbage TV and Store. Died after 2 Years.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is an absolute disappointment. I had purchased this TV on sale two years ago and it had been perfect up until now. All of a sudden, I can no longer turn on my TV anymore and the red light over the power button just blinks repetitively with no response. To make matters worse, the genius’ at both Best Buy, Roku and Sharp had offered me their top-notch suggestions of “Did you try unplugging and plugging it back in?” and “Did you change the batteries on your remote?” Never buying a Sharp again, Never buying from Best Buy again.

Waste of money
Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV is good as long as it works, too bad it only has a shelf life of around a year before it goes bad. So upsetting, piece of crap, puts you just past your warranty and then there’s nothing they will do to help.

TV stopped working in 23 months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our TV did not last even 2 years. The manufacturer will only stand behind the product for 1 year, and Best Buy will not stand behind it either.

Tv died. Neither Best Buy nor Sharp helped.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV in December 2018. It worked well until February 2020 when it shut off and never turned back on. I contacted Best Buy and was told I was outside of my 1 year warranty. I called Sharp and was told I was out of my 1 year factory warranty. After 1 year and 2 months of owning this TV it is useless. Don't buy this because it is programmed to die right outside of the warranty forcing you to buy a new one.

Inspect before leaving
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am absolutely furious that I take this new TV out or the box and its smashed. Now i am inconvenienced by having to take it back. Come on, Best Buy. Clearly you didnt inspect because the box is even damaged, although you loaded it in my car with the damaged side down. I would think you would have saw that and taken the initiative to check before allowing me to drive away. I cant rate the TV of course. But I'm rating the service. My time is valuable and this shouldn't have happened and could have been easily prevented.

I'm not sure how they call this a 4k tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I set this up using 3 sources. Xfinity cable tv, Roku streaming, and a high quality 4k blu ray player. The cable tv picture was the worst expecially when it tried to upscale non hd content. The streaming and 4k blu ray had a very bland 1080p picture at best. It could not process motion for anything, there was no detail, and just a overall dark image. A 10 year old LCD with HDTV antenna could outperform this thing. Do not buy this tv on a budget, just wait until you can afford something better or go with another brand.

Dont plan on it working for more than a year..
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv just over a year ago and it stopped working just after the warranty expired. Throughout the year that it was working it would frequently freeze and the only way to get it to work was to unplug it to force it to power down. The last sharp tv I had lasted about ten years so obviously their quality has dropped quite a bit! If you're looking for a tv in the price range just go with the TCL equivalent and save yourself a headache and some money...

Garbage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought my TV July 2019 and it died Sept 2021. Just like other reviews mentioned, I was watching it one day and the screen suddenly went black. Tried unplugging, resetting, and even researching what components we could replace on our own. There is zero support or troubleshooting available. This TV is a piece of garbage now. Totally unacceptable for a TV to last just two years.
