Good value - Some issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: I was able to pick this 60" model up for $499, making it a great deal. It is not as sharp or as vibrant as my LG TV from a few years prior, but still very nice. The built-in speakers are surprisingly decent, removing the extra cost of purchasing anything external. Simple easy to use interface since it is a Roku experience. At the price I obtained it for, it is simply unbeatable. Cons: When the HDMI input setting for the XBOX One S (using it in HDMI 1 ARC port) is on Auto or HDMI 2.0, it shows lines and glitches. This is because there is some issue between the console and TV with HDR10. To fix this, you must set the input to HDMI 1.4 which eliminates HRD10. It's unfortunate, but must be done for the Xbox to display correctly on the TV. The remote/receiver. After one day of using the TV, the TV would not respond to the remote properly. It would take either a few tries, or waiting a bit for the TV to recognize a signal from the remote. This is evident by the red LED light that flashes on the TV any time it receives an IR signal. Press button, no led would blink. If you get close to the IR sensor, within an inch, it would start to work better. I realized it was not an issue with the remote as my XBOX Universal remote, programmed to the TV shows the same issues. And of course I changed the batteries first. On the third day of ownership I contacted Sharp/Hisense, and it seems they are preparing to visit sometime soon. Final word: If they issue with the remote and receiver hadn't occurred, I would have given the TV a 4/5 stars. Since there is an issue, I cannot speak to the long-term durability of the TV and must knock another star off. I believe it is still an amazing buy, and you can work around the remote issue by using the Roku application on your phone.

So disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seemed like a great deal, but has spent more time broken than working. Customer service is polite but unresponsive until you can get the ticket escalated which is hard to do.

Excellent TV! Amazing Deal
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked up the Sharp 60 inch UHD 4K Tv for Cyber Monday! So far the tv is amazing! Great picture and sound. The built in Roku is actually really cool. I also really like the menu/Home page, very clean. Oh and a Netflix button on the remote, totally rad! Now my girlfriend will struggle to pull me away from this TV! Can’t wait to play XBox

Dont waste your money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wanted the 65 in, but wasn't able to get it. The sound is horrible and the picture isn't what the description brags about. This gets 1/10 stars.

Great TV for a Great Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it Cyber Monday for $399. I downloaded the THX Tune-Up app on my iPhone and went to setup the TV only to find out the Normal setting was a perfect match for the Video setup and I did not need to make any adjustments. Turn off Dynamic Contrast and set picture mode to Normal and brightness to normal and color temp to normal and it was all good. Even HDR Content from Vudu is perfect for this price. Like it so much I bought my parents the 58 inch version. The Roku TV is icing on the cake and make it even more worth it. I did not have to buy anything else to get 4K content.

Awesome - Awesome and more Awesome
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was impatient and bought the TCL 55" 5 series and should have purchased the 65" for the same price (399)- swapped out the 60" Sharp and couldn't be happier! This set is awesome on every input, 4K, 4K HDR, 1080P, 720P, ect.. It does require some adjustment on brightness/temp for each, but once set, you are good to go. Man was I a fool for not getting the 65" for the same price! All your friends will be amazed!

Not bad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Sharp 60" on cyber Monday for $399. Not that great of a deal because other purchased a 65 for the same price. Installed it the same day. Its replacing a Westinghouse 55 that was a 2016 black friday buy and has a horizontal line across it now. Basement time. So the first noticeable difference is the color. The Westinghouse clearly has a better range of color. The Sharp seems to accentuate red, white and blue. It doesn't seem to have an wide range of colors like yellows, greens and orange. Everything looks like the US flag. So its a down grade as far as color. Picture quality is similar with decent amount of blacks. Its hooked up to a surround sound system so I haven't tested the speakers. Honestly. Should have spent the extra $150 and went for the TCL or LG. Just to lazy to bring it back to the store.

Great Budget TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture quality is lacking for a 4k, but for as cheap as I got it....penny well spent! If you need a TV and dont want to spend much, this is a good one. If you want amazing 4k picture quality that comes to life, you might want to look at a higher end television that will cost more.

Ok TV for 8 Months, but not worth the trouble.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this TV in March 2018, worked fine until November, a strip of the backlight went out. If I wanted to use the tv I had to turn down the brightness and put it on energy saver. About midway through December a second strip of lights went out above the first, so then there were two noticeable lines whenever there was a bright image. I then contacted hisense for warranty and it took until mid-January before I was given an answer on the warranty, after answering 3 different broken English emails with the same 5 questions asked each time. Now I can only guess that a 3rd strip of the backlight has went out because the tv shuts itself off after 1-3 seconds, I can’t even get into the menu to turn the backlight all the way down, from where it is at 15%. I’m almost to the point of just taking my 550$ loss, and buying a tv from a different more reputable brand.

Nice Roku TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No real complaints at the Black Friday $399 price. Built-in speakers are absolutely awful and there is no sound EQ menu to try and adjust this.

Spend a little more to get a better TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV in cyber Monday for $399 and was excited, however the more I watch it the more I’m annoyed. The yellows and the reds and the oranges are just so off it’s crazy bothersome, and nothing in the settings can truly fix it. I’m going to be putting it back in it’s box and paying a little bit more for something better with a better range of quality. Was always taught you get what ya pay for, just thought hey maybe it’s a good deal! But for me it wasn’t. I’ll spend the extra $50-100.

Good for price. Picture OK. Color is off
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture is ok. Yellows are greenish and blacks are not that dark (Simpsons are orange). I have tried several advanced picture settings. Warm/cool/normal brightness and tint do not really get colors true. If you have flickering, try a different HDMI cable

Don't waste time on this TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cheaply made, cheap components, picture and sound are ok. Screen stopped working was under warranty. Do not waste time with this. Black Friday deals are not always deals.
