$550 Black Friday - AMAZING!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It arrived yesterday and set-up was a breeze, instantly on Wi-Fi and no other input and we have a beautiful picture and multiple streaming options. We watched 4K content from YouTube and then a movie from Amazon. At this price, I doubt the quality can be matched or beat. I'm feeling very good about rolling the dice and buying a TV sight unseen. Having so many Wi-Fi based options means I don't need another cable box or other input source. Having Amazon built in meant I didn't have to get another Fire Stick. We will hook up a 4K Blu-Ray player, and a game console but no cable box! Woot! This was truly a Best Buy!

Stunning Picture, Easy Setup.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Sharp 60" 4K TV is undoubtedly the clearest sharpest set we have ever owned. 4K 2160 display gives every detail full clarity with vivid colors and superb black levels. There is no static or distorsion what so ever. The aspect ratio settings are on the menu button for easy access to vary the display as needed or desired. So far i have not been able to program our Bose Solo soundbar's remote to work the TV, so we just let the TV stay in standby and it activates when we turn the cable box on and it receives a signal, so no big deal The stereo sound is clear as a bell and distortion free It was out of the box, hung on the wall mount and setup in less than 20 minutes. The setup wizard is as easy as any I have seen, but after running it I found the factory settings for all, picture and sound were perfect for our tastes. You WILL need help in unboxing and hanging it on the wall if you do that as we did. This replaced our 50" TV and I had said the 50" was big enough, but I am really enjoying this 60" TV. Everything looks so lifelike and vivid.

Great TV for the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this TV for almost a week since Thanksgiving and I have not experienced any of the issues reported in earlier reviews. Color, tint, clarity, and sound have all been perfect. I was reluctant to embrace this TV initially due to other reviews, but the proof is in how hit functions, flawlessly. Extremely happy with this purchase. Would recommend.

Impressed
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm used to running flagship Sony's but am overall impressed with this TV. I enjoy all the apps it offers and tons of free video and music options. Nice matt screen and fluid remote. The frame isn't as thin as the higher end models but that's not a deal breaker. Has good audio and is pretty crisp. Seems a bit heavier and thicker than higher end models but again not a deal breaker. The video quality however does get worse as the viewing angle increases, I notice lots of light bleeding through. Menu and controls are simple with advance options available. All in all it's a good TV, won't be replacing my main TV for watching movies but it's a good welcome to the family.

Apps VERY LIMITED!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this TV, the picture and functions are really nice, However, you will still need apple tv, amazon firestick or roku tv. This TV does not have Opera. I could not install "CBS All Access", ESPN, FOX, NBC, ABC etc. And the O/S can't be updated/upgraded. You are not able to online chat with Sharp about this model. You have to call them which I did to find out that I can't install the apps. I will be attaching a AppleTV, another $180 investment. Looking at other tv's with similar price/size this seems to be very common.

4K great image plus sound
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a 60-inch Smart TV with 4K resolution. It was easy to install using the included base mounts. it provides a clean, bright picture. it has three HDMI inputs for streaming and one USB port for Cable or hardware such as a DVD. This Smart TV is Netflix certified and is great for every source I tried. I wish it had more USB ports and capabilities. It is very thin, low weight and has a good remote.

Great value - nice picture
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros - I didn’t need a TV but for the Black Friday price, I couldn’t pass it up. Also got the 2 yr warranty for only $69. The picture and sound are good quality. Cons - when changing channels, it sometimes beeps not sure why. Also I have Directv and there is no remote control code that works with it so I’m stuck using 2 remotes which is a bit inconvenient.

Excellent Viewing Experience
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this TV. I had always wanted something bigger than the 19" I had and when I took the leap and got this one, I was not disappointed. The picture is crystal clear with nearly no glare at all. The first night, I had it sitting on the stand on the floor because the stand hadn't arrived yet, but it didn't matter. Watching the Olympics, I felt like I was right there and the sound was just as fantastic as the picture. This tv is a definite must buy.

First was a dud, 2nd was much better
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased one at the store, brought it home got it all set up and logged into my accounts and 15 minutes later it stopped working, just a blue screen with a bunch of lines. Brought it back to the store and swapped it for another one and that one works great, very happy with it. I wish it had the SlingTV app, but maybe that will come in an update later on... Hopefully.

You get what you pay for
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My hopes were high. Great deal on Black Friday, my first smart TV, first 4K Tv...first TV bigger than 40 inches! I was thrilled. It is a great TV- at first. Then you realize how little is filmed in 4k and even high def cable packages are much more expensive. But after watching some shows on standard and some on High def, I can't go back. it's painful. This TV's smart features consist of ONLY Netflix, youtube, amazon and the yet unknown Vudu. I say only but those top 3 are pretty much all I need. hulu is too full of ads anyway. So I say A- on the app part. The TV Is glitchy though. It freezes up and you have to unplug it to unfreeze it. It takes 5 minutes to turn back on. It's MOST annoying. I e-mailed the company and they know about their glitchy TV's but are NOT reimbursing for them. So if you DO buy this TV, get the Best Buy plan so you can return it when this happens. now I'm stuck with a glitchy, but passable TV.

Solid 1080 TV Bad 4K TV
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start with this if you are looking for a tv to get into 4K movies and play games In 4K with HDR then you should stay far away from this tv. Yes it is compatible with HDR but it doesn't seem to have a wide color gamut nor does it have a very good contrast ratio. The black levels are terrible when watching widescreen content the bars on the side cannot get black, The documentation says the tv is backlit but it doesnt seem to have a local dimming feature so it cannot darken areas and brighten others to help with HDR. I do not want to just bag on the tv as their is some good to it. The TV is relatively bright and colors look very good watching 1080p content. The build quality while all plastic was better than I had anticipated. Smart tv features worked as advertised, I was able to connect and stream from Netflix and Vudu very easily. It is not the fastest tv when using network features but it does work well. If you are looking to Jump Into the 4K realm I would skip this tv and find something better suited for 4K but if you are looking for a big screen and just going to play blu-ray movies or stream then it would be a pretty good choice.

Good but has little flaws
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a good picture clean, clear, and crispy but the only thing I don't like about it is,when I first turn the tv on its a thin horizontal line from the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen. It'll go away once bright colors hit the picture but if it's a dark scene it'll come right back until brightness come about.

You can only tell the difference with 4K content
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This 4k tv is a great investment for when 4k content becomes standard for entertainment. It's not anything special right now. There is no difference in quality compared to 1080p but 4k quality is on the rise. I watched some 4K YouTube videos on the tv and it blew my mind! Needed two people to set it up but it was a breeze. Responsive remote when using Netflix (Nice convenient button).

Best Buy only model, like buying a Yugo
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Taking the price element out of the mix and just evaluating the TV for what it is as a 60" apparently Ultra HDTV, I would have rather spent a few hundred bucks more for a nicer TV with better options. This TV is not truly SMART, it doesn't have HULU and has extremely limited apps that can be downloaded so now I have to buy a ROKU in order to access the shows I want. It also does NOT have bluetooth so if you plan on connecting a soundbar or other accessories you will need to plan on buying additional cables. I suppose it is on me that I bought assuming that on a 60" smart TV these items would naturally be included, but live and learn. Also, the remote is very quirky, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The bezel on the TV is not attractive, looks very cheap so if you plan on mounting it is worth spending more money and getting a TV with better-included options and a nicer look.

Posted .Hi, currently Hisense TV's do not include Hulu App. The TV comes pre-loaded with these Apps: Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Vudu, Youtube, Ultraflix, Facebook, Pandora, TV Browser, and VEWD App Store. You also can find some other apps on VEWD App Store. We appreciate your question, and will consider adding Hulu on future models. If you have any further questions, please contact us at 1-888-935-8880.

Great value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the movie a great value. Of course, the sound and picture isn't quite 5 star premium but you aren't paying for that. Still new to me, so fine adjusting and getting used to it. I love the youtube and amazon apps. Running my pc through it allows great variety as well, although my vid card is limited to 1080p, I'll try my micro comp with a 4k card on it ater.

System failure after <1.5 years of usage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.(NOTE: Hisense is the manufacturer of this TV despite being branded as Sharp. Apparently, some years ago, Sharp sold naming rights to Hisense). I received this product as a Christmas gift in December 2017. Despite light usage (<3 hours per week), the TV is now exhibiting chronic issues with random shutdowns with any HDMI devices connected. Yes, I’ve done all the troubleshooting (testing on another TV, using different HDMI cables, and factory resets). As a prospective solution, Hisense tech support e-mailed me a link to download firmware update version I0207, which is older than the currently installed v.I1203. After applying the older update via USB stick, the TV forced a mandatory update back to v.I1203. I called Hisense tech support again, which stated my only recourse is to contact a local TV repair shop. I asked for a recommended authorized service center located near my current address but Hisense stated it does not have this information. So after less than 1.5 years of usage, I have a faulty TV. Do not buy Hisense. Consumer Reports has given this company low ratings for reliability: https://www.consumerreports.org/tvs/hisense-vizio-tvs-lose-cr-recommendation-over-reliability-issues/

Don't like light that stays on when powered off
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just installed the TV yesterday so nothing much to report yet. BUT, I do NOT like that a RED power light stays lit when the TV is OFF. Better to have a light when tv is on. The light is annoying especially when it's dark.
