Good picture and it is a good quality TV would by again..

Easy set up and simple to use/ a lot of features and great over the air reception

Bought this for my tech-challenged 76 year old mother. She's always had difficulty remembering how to operate the Roku box I got her forever ago, so she had streaming accounts going to waste. I figured an all-in-one device would be the ticket, especially one with a larger screen, impressive sound, and so many great reviews. It was delivered on Jan 3 and set up was fairly straight forward. I added all of her accounts, worked with her to make sure she understood navigation, and even quizzed her afterward. It really all came together and she was thrilled! Then, two weeks later I get a call. "I've been watching movies on the Netflix and the Hulu, but I can't figure out how to get back to the TV for the news." "It's the Antenna option." "Oh, I know. I've been trying it. I even had your sister look at it since I know you're busy." So I go visit my mom, hoping it's just user error since the return window is nearly over. But nope! When I selected Antenna, the whole system froze then reset itself. This happened over and over again. The system had already been updated, I adjusted several settings, all to no avail. Mind you, it was working fine when I set it up and, according to my mom, all throughout the first week. Best Buy had two days left in the return window but would have required me to pack up a heavy 65" TV and drive it to the store myself. I have a bum back so that was out of the question. I called Sharp/Hisense instead. The rep I got barely let me speak before talking down to me like an idiot. She had me go through the same steps I'd already taken, then told me to just factory reset the whole system. "What's causing it in the first place? How do I know it won't do it again even if a reset works temporarily?" "*deep sigh* Just call back." That should have been my cue to hire some able-bodied person to help me get it back to the store ASAP, but the reset did work and after the trouble of going through to set up the TV all over again, I dared hope. My mistake. A week later, same issue recurs. My mother calls me inmediately this time, and I call Sharp. It was Thursday. Luckily, the previous rep did create a case number though she never relayed it to me. The second rep was much kinder but said there was nothing she could do. They would need my receipt and I was supposed to hear back in 1-2 business days. I emailed my receipt while still on the phone so I wouldn't forget. No word on Friday. On Monday, I get a confirmation that they received my email and that I should hear something... in 1-2 business days. Wednesday, I get an email that they need my receipt. I send it again and remind them that they've had it for nearly a week. No response. Here it is Friday, and I'm so irritated that I didn't just return the blasted thing when I had a chance.

Great picture and sound. Bought a much smaller TV not too long ago for more money.
