Low quality tv manufactured by Hisense
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great looking television if you get one that actually works and isn’t defective. The Sharp tv I purchased had red dots all over the screen. The dots were dead pixels. I called Sharp for warranty details and they told me they don’t manufacture these televisions. They said they are licensed by the discount tv brand Hisense. Makes sense.

Screen went black after less than 2 years
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve tried everything with this tv. Since I purchased it kept turning on and off randomly. I couldn’t get the insurance so just had to deal with it. It completely went out a week ago. Plain black screen turns on but no image. Read reviews for this tv and it seems that everyone just last about a year until it goes out!

Finally gave in and bought it...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After spending 3 days on researching TV, I finally gave it and picked it up today. Don't expect to be immediately wowed, unless you watch a 4K program. If you watch a standard show, you won't see anything amazing like what's shown at Best Buy. But once you see 4K, you'll be impressed or at least pleased with your purchase. I was worried about some of the reviews, but I'm pleased with it so far. To clarify, it does have HDR as the box says. You won't see it pop-up until you play something that's 4K with HDR (play 4K HDR videos from the YouTube app to test it). Someone mentioned watching sports was terrible. Again, it looked fine to me. It was comparable to my previous Sharp Aquos HD TV. Again, unless you're watching a 4K program, it won't be 4K. My Cable box has a limit of 1080; therefore, I don't expect to see anything in 4K. Overall, I am happy with it. I deducted a star because I cannot connect my bluetooth speakers. Roku requires that I connect to Roku speakers before I can connect to any other bluetooth device. This defeats the purpose of having bluetooth and forces me to buy Roku speakers... not happy with this!

Worst
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DO NOT BUY THIS TV. Within less than 2 months of buying this tv the bulb has blown and now half of the tv is dark this is ridiculous and of course Best Buy cannot do anything for me. All my money down the drain.

very happy with this tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this from best buy about 2 months ago on sale. very happy with it. great picture and sound. also I am a big fan of roku which is built into this set. you can only test the 4k capability by viewing 4k programs on youtube because cable tv as of now does not go above 1080 but that is not the tvs fault. tech needs to catch up

To dark
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality is not great. The picture is dark even on the brightest setting. Looks like everything is filmed during the night.

Good picture, good audio
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this on sale for $450. To the end, it is an amazing TV for the price. This does NOT have HDR as the title says. It is HDR compatible. After researching it, unless the two TVs are side by side, I cannot tell a difference. If I spent any more than $450 on it, I would expect it to have HDR10 or whatever. That said, the picture looks great right out of the box: Backlight 87 Brightness 49 Contrast 53 Sharpness 45 Color 60 Tint 0 Color Temp normal I don't know a lot about TVs, but I know what I like and don't like. The picture looks great, even when things are moving around quickly. The audio sounds fantastic. If I didn't already have surround sound, I don't think I'd even spring for it. I watched a movie with lots of explosions and loud/quiet parts to test everything out. It seems perfect. I like it, but I'm sure some snob will tell you why you need to spend $1000 more. For what I use it, Netflix, streaming from my computer, and playing Xbox, it seems perfect. There was a negative review about football being grainy. I haven't tried that yet... I hope to watch football on this one day, but right now I'm just enjoying the crap out of watching movies on this banging TV. I can say, as my gaming TV, it is definitely worth it.

Nice $400 TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very nervous after reading the 1 star review about pixelation - I actually wasn't going to open the TV until after the new year but decided to test it out because of the review. For $400, I had a $50 credit - This TV is great, Nice colors and the sound is very loud - I'll be hooking it up to a SoundBar either way but was surprised on the sound quality, not bad at all. If you are on a budget, this is a great TV so far.

Quality and price.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this TV during the season for my Mom. The picture quality is unbelievable,HDR is second to none,4K is great and the Audio on that thing is jamming. I cranked the volume up to 50 but didn't have the eardrums to take it up to 100. For those interested in the Picture Configuration Aspect just go to Advance Picture Settings and select VIVID. Then do the following configurations: Dynamic Contrast :Low. TV Brightness:Brighter. Picture Mode:Vivid Backlight:100 Brightness:50 Contrast:100 Sharpness:35 Color:60 Tint:0 Color Temperature:Cool I am extremely happy with this Television and will be making a second purchase. People C'mmon get that tv before it's too late.

Best value for your $$$
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I usually never leave a review but feel that this TV is a diamond in the rough. I can't believe I hesitated for almost the whole day but decided to buy it (only 3 left when I got to the store)! Advance Black Friday price $449. Great picture, great sound (15W+15W output), great features. No problems setting up or programming settings. I am sure that the $1000-$3000 sets are better but really, $450? Get it while you can.....

Great TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I could not believe it for I was doubtful this TV would be any good, but to my surprise it is a keeper. I was going to return but after tweaking the pic and using my own Roku, which to me the Roku in the TV does not let me put the pic in "game mode", made the world of difference. The pic is like night and day using my 4K Roku. My XBOX One S works beautifully on the TV too. Again, putting the settings on "game mode" cuts down the lag. My Blue Ray movies playing through my XBOX almost looks like a 4K HDR movie. The other thing that is very important is the viewing angle. This TV is the best I have ever seen so far on a 4K TV. Its not like the Samsung I returned which was god awful. So unless this dies before the middle of Jan, I will be keeping this TV. I wish I would have known how good this TV was on Black Friday, I would have bought 2!!

Great TV for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price this TV is worth it. Does the picture quality compare to the Samsung and Sony TV’s? Maybe, maybe not. Am I happy with it? Absolutely! My kids are enjoying it. My wife and I love it. I was skeptical at first because there were no reviews when I bought it. We are extremely happy with the quality and sound. I’m even thinking about buying another just because of the price. Definitely recommend buying it. Another plus is having Roku. We probably won’t use all the apps but it’s nice to have.
