I bought this 4k TV today based on the reviews here. I got it setup and plugged in ready to enjoy the New Years Eve events, but no life came from the TV. I might just have gotten a bad lemon. I plan to return it tomorrow for a refund, but I would be cautious about the longivity of Sharp or Hisense products based on this experience.

If you are thinking of using this as your main living room screen think again. Best fit for a basement or play area. Quality is OK at best. This is a complete you get what you pay for TV. Expect "ok I guess" results.

Died after 10 days - very disappointed

This was a great TV when it worked for the 10 days that I got to enjoy it. Unfortunately, I didn't start using it until 5 days after I purchased it and could not return it to best buy. due to there limited 14 day return policy. I later found out that this TV is manufactured by a company called hi-sense & is not truly made by sharp.. Hi-sense sent a local electronic repair tech to my house and still could not fix it. I am now having to return it directly to hi-sense for repairs. I also have to try and hunt down and purchase another box for it in which I will not be reimbursed for. Very disappointed. If this TV had a Hi-sense name on it instead of Sharp I would have never purchased it. I should of stuck to my gut and went with a more reputable brand like Samsung or Vizio.

Problems in less than 30 days

I had held off writing a review, was getting ready to leave a positive review on this 65 inch sharp roku tv. Please Note: I own four TCL Roku TV's, the first one was purchased three years ago and have never had a problem with the TCL Roku tvs. I was going to buy another TCL, but when I read the specs on this TV and saw that it had better speakers, I decided to go with the Sharp. I had it delivered since it is too large to fit in my vehicle. Today while trying to watch a very close basketball game that went into overtime and stayed close even though overtime, the TV kept popping out of satellite app and into the Sling app (which I do not even subscribe to). It just kept doing this over and over. I had invited company over to watch the game on my nice new 65 inch TV. Ended up trying to cram 10 people into my bedroom so they could finish watching the game on my 55 inch TCL. I'm not happy. Now I need to go into best buy to see what they will do. I bought during black Friday sale. The TCL is no longer on sale and I'm not sure if I would want to chance another Sharp no longer than this one lasted without problems.

Nothing wrong with sharp T.V.s its Roku that is the problem. Connects very slow( when it works) Jittery functions. Have had 2 Roku T.Vs. both are junk simply because of Roku. Save yourself some money buy a real smart T.V. If you see the word Roku keep shopping. A Roku T.V. is much cheaper than a real smart T.V.for a reason.

Bought this in Tuesday. It stopped working this morning. Called for support they said it’ll Be few days before they can send repair person. Returned another tv to Sam’s because that had a crack in it when it got delivered. Now this one stopped working. I think I’m not supposed to have a new tv.. lol

    Great While It Lasted

It was awesome for one year and two weeks (two weeks after the warranty expired). Went on a weekend trip, came back and the top half of the screen is unusable with a really bad glitch. Manufacturer won’t touch it. Best Buy tech told me not to waste money on a repair. Really disappointed.

Banner ads all the time. Don't use Wi-Fi

Crappy new tvs have ads put up at anytime now. Complete crap. My kids don't need to see a tampon ad or game of thrones ad while playing video games. Guessing genstar bought sharp just to make it worse. That's kinda what they do.

I liked the TV. I liked the remote. The TV lasted 3 years and 5 months. 5 months after the extended warranty and it died.

I bought this tv for their online Black Friday sale. Picked up my tv, set it up immediately and the sound does not work. Worst purchase I’ve ever made.
