I BOUGHT THE TV AND WITHIN A MONTH OF USE, IT STARTS GIVING ME A PURPLE LINE DOWN THE MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN. I CALL GEEK SQUAD AND THEY SEND SOMEONE OVER A FEW DAYS LATER AND I HAVE TO TAKE A DAY OFF WORK BECUZ THEY DONT WORK AFTER 5PM..AFTER 5MINS OF LOOKING AT THE TV, THEY SAID I NEED TO CALL SHARP AND SUBMIT PIX TO THEM...I EXPLAINED TO GEEK SQUAD I HAD PROTECTION ON THE TV, WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OF ME PURCHASING THE PROTECTION PLAN IF I STILL NEEDED TO GO THRU SHARP. WAS A PAIN IN MY BUTT TO REPLACE AND UPGRADE TO A MORE EXPENSIVE TV..BUT AT LEAST THIS NEW TV WORKS NOW..PS. DO NOT SHOP AT THE BURBANK, CA STORE...NOT ONLY STAFF, BUT MGRS ARE HORRIBLE. I ALREADY CALLED CORP AND FILED A COMPLAINT. BEWARE OF BURBANK, CA STORE!!! DO NOT SHOP THERE!!!

Really nice picture and good sound for the price. Definitely worth it.

Great Television for the price... Upscales to all but 4k without the $3,000 extra investment. Overall satisfied, still trying to figure out the refresh rate while watching the Flyers on TV, the puck kinda of skips every now and then, not sure if its the Pioneer HDMI interface everything runs through, or if its me not having the TV tweaked out perfectly yet.

This is a beast of a 70" TV at the top of the weight spectrum for the class so bring the muscle for the set up. Set up was a snap, the remote and software are excellent and intuitive. Sitting head-on at more than 15 feet away presented an excellent picture. It handled motion very well, so sports were covered well also. Unfortunately, viewing at even a moderate angle turns the vivid colors to very disappointing soupy grays - the wash out of color just did not work for my room. It was bothersome enough that I returned it and bought a Samsung 65" that is perfect for my needs with an extraordinary picture when viewed at any angle. The Sharp may be a great TV for some rooms and set-ups, but clearly not for mine.

Excellent tv with good options but its a trial and error setup of color and brightness. Went to many sites describing setup, tried many. Blu ray playback on screen is unbelievable, television not so much.

This is the best tv I have ever owned. I will buy only this from now on. I just wish all could see what I am seeing.

The TV is great, the Geek Squad did a great job installing the product. We are waiting on the TV Calibration, which required 100 hours on the TV before they could calibrate. Overall this has been a good experience.

I purchased this TV as a floor model. My son had to go back to get the stand-the store staff couldn't load it into the car, although they tried, and it was put in the trunk. I drove 1 mile home-my cable service was out and was to be fixed on Wednesday-the TV still did not work after the cable was fixed and so my husband took it back to the store-they plugged it in, said the screen was cracked and they weren't exchanging it or fixing it. It was under a Sharp warranty, so I notified them, and OF COURSE- even though I only had the TV six days-their warranty doesn't cover the damaged screen either. Basically, I am out the cost of the TV. I won't work with either of these companies again when I need a TV.

Only wish that I had goten a larger screen. I got the 70 inch, thinking that the room would not accommodate an 80 inch tv. But did not realize this until after it was installed on the wall.

Finally got rid of my giant projection TV after 14 years and upgraded to LED. This TV is incredible, the 4K upconversion for blu ray is outstanding. So far, I've found nothing I don't like about this TV.

Returned TV after being unable to connect to Internet. Called customer service 3 times and was put on hold for over 20 min the last time. So I took it back and got a LG and love it

The resolution is so good, when watching tv/movies filmed on a set - it looks fake! (eg. in Getaway - the interior of the car scenes look like a cheap soap opera) but great for watching sports.
