Easy to program, even for multi-stage cooking. It gradually became more tempermental. After a several months, it started sparking and arcing against the plate covering the magnetron during use. I finally deduced that it didn't like my dishes (which had never caused issues in my previous microwave) and switched to using only unpainted plain glass. That solved the problem for about 2 years. Then it started gettign fussy again. Now it arcs and smokes every time I try to use it. Dissappointing to only get 3.5 years of use out of a $200 appliance! Especially considering that my previous microwave had lasted over 20 years.

This is the first one I am disappointed in. When you microwave for over 5 minutes it builds up condensation in between the glass door that takes hours to go away. It vibrates really loud and sounds like it is going to explode.

Compact, Quiet and easy to use

I've had many microwaves before, and the light never went out, even for microwaves that were 12 or 13 years old. And of course Sharp doesn't stand behind the light bulbs. I won't buy another Sharp Microwave. Apparently us regular people are not supposed to change the lightbulb.
