It works great and the annoying end-of-cycle beeping has been fixed. I hope to get many years of trouble-free use from this microwave. Hard to believe it couldn't find its way onto any of the "top microwave lists."

It is an excellent microwave, quieter than the other one. It cooks faster than i'm used to, which is a plus when fixing meals. The timer is loud enough to hear it over noises from other devices. It is a good replacement that I am glad to have in my kitchen. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

It does what it's supposed to do--i.e. heat up food. However, the interior light bulb has gone out. I was surprised to find out that it's a component that is not covered by the warranty. And it's an item that needs a technician to replace since access to it requires the casing to be removed. The light bulb in my previous microwave lasted over 10 years so that is my measuring stick. It makes me worried about what other components are not covered by the warranty.

So, we can't use the kitchen timer while the unit is being used for microwaving. Controls are easy to use and plenty of light in the unit.
