good choice for something small and useful for routine functions

A very handy little calculator to put in the handbag when out shopping. If you are not the calculator-on-the-cell phone dependent like me and still used to traditional ways, this calculator fits in just well.

Have had this awhile now. Very easy to use and the solar power works great. Very inexpensive and has all that I need to do to balance checkbook and do simple math problems.

I was looking for a basic calculator and this definitely met my expectations and a few beyond at a very affordable price. I am very pleased with my purchase.

It is a nicely sized, basic calculator. I have some issue with the right side of the keyboard. I hit "×" when I mean to hit "+", but I think I just need to get used to the smaller keyboard. Nice calculator.

You, don't have to be a rocket scientist to use this product. It's ideal for kids , and college students.

I needed a calculator to do some basic number crunching. This product does exactly that. The screen is large so it is easy to see the numbers. I would highly recommend.

I needed an inexpensive, basic calculator (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) to double-check my math on my federal income taxes since I'd misplaced my Hewlett-Packard calculator, and over the years, various friends, family, and students have absconded with my assorted, inexpensive, scientific* calculators ($7 to $10 Texas Instruments, Casios, etc.) [*Note: By "scientific" calculator, I mean one that has, as a minimum, trig functions, exponents, square root, logarithms, etc. I am NOT referring to the fancy, expensive "graphing" calculators with all the bells and whistles.] Anyway, this minimalistic Sharp Calculator was adequate for my purposes at the time, but it would not be adequate for any scientific, engineering, or statistical applications. Some might like the big buttons, but I found the feel and use to be kind of clunky, awkward, and cheaply made. I feel like the price is about twice what should be charged... It should be more in the $3 to $5 range for the value (or lack thereof.) I plan to donate this to a senior citizen or a little kid who just needs or wants the basics, but even they would probably be too sophisticated for this calculator.

I know everyone has a calculator app on their phone but nothing beats physical buttons.

Needed a simple repalcement calculator for my desk. This fitted the bill at the right price. Numbers not as easy to read as I had hoped but acceptable.
