Shaun of the Dead is one of the most original concepts for a zombie/comedy since Peter Jackson's Dead Alive. The film stars Simon Pegg who plays Shaun, a aimless t.v. salesmen who has no ambition whatsoever and spends his time with his buddy Ed who is just as lazy as he. When zombies begin to over run London, it's up to Shaun, his girlfriend Liz, Ed, and Liz's flat mates to stay alive by what they have learned from zombie movies. This is one of my favorite releases and I appriciate it the more times I see it. An outstanding cast and great, repeatable dialogue make it an instant classic for horror fans the world over.

What can you add to a zombie movie to make it even more enjoyable? Hmm, maybe some British actors and British humor. I absolutely loved this movie. Being a zombie fan, this was definitely a different take on the whole zombie genre, and I dug it. Of all my buddies, I've never heard one of them say they didn't like this movie. But remember, it is completely full of British humor, which we Americans might not get at first. This is absolutely worth buying, because you'll watch it at least twice.

This movie is one of the funniest movies of all time. The whole thing is funny from start to finish and their are several laugh out loud moments. Another thing that I liked about this movie was the camera work. Their are some scenes where one shot will last almost 2 minutes. This is a very impressive movie. The funniest British movie ever.

After all ridiculous parody movies this one makes good honest fun of all the horror zombie movies that flooded our cinemas. I was rolling on the floor. But don't get the wrong idea, it's still kinda horror, not for kids. There were some disturbing moments. But if you enjoy a GOOD parody, this might be right for you

this movie i could watch a 1,000 times and never get tired of it, the gory scenes were the best, the acting in this movie was awsome. the plot was the best because i think these type of movies are the best. i would highly recomend this movie to anyone !!!!! the best part about this movie was the graphics !!!!! man were they good !!!!!

Deliciously gory, this movie made me laugh harder than I have in quite some time. I didn't watch it for a while after it came out because I was afraid it wouldn't live up to all the hype, but it completely delivered. Fans of horror and comedy alike should enjoy the fun it pokes at traditional zombie flicks.

Great spin on the zombie genre. I am not a scary movie fan, but love this flick. It's the least thing from scary. But you never know with zombie flicks. So I hope that helps for those with young childern.

This is a great movie, it is very funny and a little sacry. Very good plot, some of the acting could be better, and I don't like there british accents. but this is worth having for a dvd, it's one you will watch many times over the years.

This is a film that is worth watching over and over again. The gory scenes will scare you, and the funny scenes will make you laugh. This is the first movie that I've seen that combines Comedy and Horror, and I like the combo.

This was actually a pretty good movie, I really thought it would be stupid up until my friend let me borrow it. I had to get it right away, sure it's not scary but it's supposed to be a comedy not a horror movie. Anyone will enjoy this movie since it packs quite a bit of laughs. Go out and buy it.

Shaun of the dead is a funny movie that i enjoyed watching and so will you if you decide to buy it.....this movie combines comedy with a bit of action and is somthing i could watch everyday....acting is superb and is unbelievably funny and worth buying....... Thanks for your time SuLLY

Funny movie I love brits and their humor...My favorite part was them singing with the zombie haha...Not to ruin it for anyone or anything... Great buy and hilarous..

Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost make a good team. The world of zombies is greatly improved by having Shaun of the Dead in its population.
