Light hearted fun movie. I would call it good not great.

Like many superheroes, super powers are thrust upon Billy, a foster child in search of his mother. Funny spots but the movie needs some superhero polish. An enjoyable story and I am looking forward to Shazam2, if only to find out what happens next.

This movie (Shazam) did not live up to my expectation.

Shazam is what a DC comic movie should be. An adaptation of a graphic novel. No mixing books together. Just a previously written story, made into a film. Well done DC!

Purchased on sale for kids. They said movie was okay

Much like reviews for this movie state it's if BIG meets super heroes. It's fun, enjoyable, and dare I say the better of the DC movie slate (excluding the batman nolan trilogy which is a level of its own). Definitely a fun family movie and superhero movie.

I didn't have a high expectation of this movie. My daughter was the one that asked me to buy it. It happened to be on sales on Best Buy site. Bought it and watched together. It was surprisingly good. Had a few laughter. Its one of those feel-good movies

Good movie to watch with DC fans and especially in 4k.

This was the first DC movie that was actually watchable

Fun movie. Looks great in 4k, sounds good too. If your a fan, I say get it. You won't be disappointed.

Wow is all I can say after all the mishaps with the previous DC universe films, this was just such a breath of fresh air and gives me hope for the future of the justice league.

Fun movie told from a diverse cast that is inclusive. Great use of casting and storytelling. There’s a few nods to Superman mixed in. It’s like a mix between Big and Superman.

Really could have just got away with the Blu-ray..

I think this is the best DC movie that they’ve made so far. It’s funny it’s got some good action to get a good story the origin is phenomenal it’s just an all-around fun amazing movie.

good... there were some things that are not believable

Very fun DC movie, with a great performance by Zachary Levi as Captain Marvel and great supporting performances by the young cast and Mark Stong as Sivana. Fun stuff!

It is a ok movie. Great for a rainy day with the kids.

Shazam has a surprising amount of heart to a superhero flick, which is bound to tread into some cheesy territory. There are dark elements to the generally light hearted movie, but nothing too overbearing. Great use of special effects and engaging fights.

Not what I was expecting ... got better at the end...
