Wasn't what I expected, a comedy children's movie.

If you like Marvel movies and you are 6 years old then this is for you. Captain Marvel gains the wisdom of Solomon whenever he summons the power of Shazam. He does not retain the naivety of a teen Billy Batson. Another DC failure.

DVD was great, had digital copy, too. The store had 2 of these on hand. The workers could not find them. they had about 3 workers searching. I looked all over, and it took about an hour to find one.

Best Buy has the best steel books! This one doesn’t close right but due to covid-19 I couldn’t go in and pick it out myself. Still a great movie just wish I could have gotten one that wasn’t damaged.

DC Comics has really gotten out of control, it’s like a bunch of grown perverted men writing stories about our heroes and putting so much garbage into the movies that you can’t allow your children to watch it when you are in the theater and a little boy embarrasses his dad by loudly asking him what a boob bookstore is? His dad shushed him, but eh DC, seriously? Parents beware, screen your DC movies before taking a young one to see the movie. Also, check the rating, and then contents at IMDb.

I think this movie did not do the hero justice. It had an okay story line but it seemed more like the tv series of the Great American Hero in the 80's. Wonk wonk wonk

I had high hopes for this movie, but was underwhelmed. It had its moments and I enjoyed watching it with the kids, but I should have rented it instead of buying it.

This movie was alright if you are looking for action this is not your movie. If you are looking for some humor using the Shazam it's an alright movie.

It was a nice change, compare to the usual over the top super hero movies. But their is also nothing special about the film. Not bad, not great. Average.

I have been a fan of Zachary Levi since his days on "Chuck". His performance was good, but not great. This does look great in 4K on my OLED TV though.

The steelcase is pretty average nothing to nice about it. The Film was average, its a fun 1 time watch but doesn't really have much reply value

DC slipped up on this premiere of a famous classic character from the golden age of comic books. The story is poor, the action second rate.

Not a kids movie and also not fully adapted for adults. Odd movie with an intro that drags and is sustained with some humor interspersed.

Shazam was a pretty good movie..But not the best DC comic film like. Man of steel and wonder woman etc.. but I believe children would enjoy it

I think it could have been better. Kid becomes a super hero, been done before, besides it was on sale in 4K so I took a chance.

Don't buy ,very bad story line horrible acting DC blew it

The movie was slow for more than the first half of the movie with little action for a superhero action movie, but the second half was good.

It's a decent movie for a time killer, but really not that good. To much trying to make it funny with him learning his powers.

Had very high hopes for this and felt so disappointed, not bad but not great. It's very by the numbers comic book movie.
