It's very difficult to mix comedy and action when it comes to a superhero film. Sure, buddy cop films do it but it's really refreshing to see comedic elements in a full feature length comic book movie! well done! And it looks Fantastic! in 4K UHD

Shazam was a pretty good offering from DC Comics. It's a great story of a young man learning to adjust to his new abilities. He also learns to find the courage that he didn't know he had to face an enemy. And the most important part to all of this is, is that he does this while learning what true family really means.

I actually thought (when seeing the trailers) that this movie would be either a dud, or real corny... Though it had some corny elements, i really enjoyed it!! I thought it took the comic book to a different light and I am excited for Shazam 2!!

Zachery Levi is perfect for this role. I swore I watched the TV show as a kid and I don't remember there being a team. So that caught me off guard. I enjoyed it, but I feel like Marvel would have told this better. One issue was how he's supposed to be pure of heart, but doesn't act like it for some time as Shazam.

Ok so anyone who doesn’t like this movie is silly!! This movie made my boyfriend and I laugh multiple times!! Love love love Zachary Levi, the Villain was the right amount of creepy/evil and the kids had their own awesome humor. 5 stars from me!

This is definitely not your typical DC movie that we have all become used to. This is a superhero meets the move Big kind of deal. It is funny, heart warming and has good action scenes in it. Shazam might be a lesser known character but this movie did not disappoint. The Steelbook was awesome so I had to pick it up.

Great movie. I love the end of this film. I wont spoil it here but it's one of my favorite scenes in the entire film. If you have a heart - you'll understand why. The product arrived on time. The packing was perfect. I am completely satisfied.

This movie is epically AMAZING!! DC finally did it right with this one. It's super funny and action packed. Just what fans want from DC. The acting is great. They story is great. You cant go wrong with this one in my opinion. Super fun movie.

For not having super powers and then one day getting the super powersand learning how to use them can be a chore. He learns jow to work with these powers as best as he can. The steel case looks awesome. And its a plus with the digital version

I had never seen this but had heard it was a must see. Got some popcorn, sat on the couch with a blanket and watched a wonderful movie. Didn't need the 4K but it certainly didn't hurt , the movie would of been funny and great on any TV.

I was unsure of this movie as some of DC's movies have been disappointing. I was pleasantly surprised with this one. The way he adjusts to having power and having a new family is both funny and heartfelt. Plus the action scenes are amazing.

My expectations were low about this movie. I was wrong…it was very well casted. If I can’t connect to the characters, then it’s over… I connected with the foster parents and the love they had for their children. This movie is about family.

This film was far better than I thought it would. The 4k picture and sound are excellent and again, the movie is just plain FUN! Trust me...I know what I'm doin' when I'm reviewin'.

I know it’s still considered a gimmick, but for some movies I still really enjoy watching them in 3D. Shazam has some great moments that make the 3D a great experience. It’s also great to have the 3D disc, regular blu ray, and a DVD copy.

Just a fun, light hearted family centered Flick. Lots of clever humor and nods (easter eggs) to other movies. Some of it is corny but I thought in a good way. 3D is good, but a lot of action is in darkness which does not always translate well into 3D. Still as a 3D collector I had to have it. GRAND PA APPROVED!

i love this film, i know dc gets alot of crap and they do so, but this movie is what i want more from them. Funny and just well made, i think a small budget like shazam is what dc needs to focus on instead of a 200 million budget cgi mess

We’ve all heard “great things” about this movie and overall I’d say they’re true. It's a simple movie that is acted well and has a good time. I really enjoyed this movie. The image quality is good as well, no space problems or anything.

Purchased movie a few weeks after being released as I wasn't sure it I would like it. After watching the movie I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend to anyone still on the fence on whether watching it or not.

*SPOILER* It was better than I thought it would be based on the trailers. The only thing I wished was that it would have shown Black Adam (the Rock) instead of simply alluding to another chosen. The other thing was the superman cameo. If you couldn't get Henry Cavill then they should have not had it at all.

It's becoming more difficult to find 3D blu-rays, so I jump at the chance when it presents itself. "Shazam!" was a great movie, with the storyline, special effects, etc. I feel the 3D was worth it, and would easily recommend it to anyone.
