Zachary Levi will always be Chuck (or Flin Ryder depending on your age) but he's a great addition to the DC universe. The bad guys (plural) make it hard to recommend as a family movie if you have small children.

Shazam is the “Big” of superhero films. It’s fun for the whole family with lots of laughs and superhero action. A must own for DC fans. The 4K picture is crisp and bright and the Dolby Atmos track really enhances the experience. The special features add more value to the movie.

The humor is elevated enough for adults to appreciate it. The action was reasonable and the graphics clean. The tension between the characters and the inner turmoil of the protagonist kept my family interested.

This is an excellent movie. The picture and sound quality is pristine. It is a movie that the whole family can enjoy. This movie is a movie collectors delight and in steelbook format truly one to be desired.

I avoided seeing this in the theater because I thought the trailer made it seem too hokie and childish. After watching it on 4k, I realized that the trailer was misleading. This is actually a pretty good movie.

This movie proves that every superhero movie doesn’t have to be a giant bloated budget sequel to be an entertaining experience. I am a fan of Shazam or Captain Marvel , I enjoyed their take on the character.

This movie is probably my second favorite DC movie behind Aquaman. It has a sense of joy about it, unlike Man of Steel or Batman v Superman. The movie has a decent 3D conversion. Pick it up and give it a watch.

This movie was a fun romp for the whole family! If you're familiar with the comic book character at all, I have no doubt you'll be pleased with the story. Plus, the SteelBook cover is an amazing piece! Love it!

I wasn't sure if the movie could hold up to the original tv series, but it holds interest all on its own. Somewhat reminiscent of BIG but funny and well written to separate itself. I liked this movie very much.

Great movie that gives us a different take on the superhero genre. Nice to see how super powers would be handled by a kid. The Steelbook is awesome to add to your collection & the digital code is a huge bonus.

Funny and entertaining movie. Enough for after a days of work and nerd out. Nothing crazy but rating it a 4 in hopes they can keep making these.

All around good movie and will definitely watch again. One of the better DC movies especially for a mostly unknown superhero in my opinion. Funny, action, and a good story. As good as the Dark Knight trilogy but with an upbeat and comedic style more like the Marvel movies.

I really enjoyed this movie. Zachary Levi was the perfect choice to bring the character of Shazam/Captain Marvel to life, looking the part of a powerful hero but also being able to convey the heart of a child.

I’m not familiar with the source material but my friends tell me it’s very faithful. If Aquaman and Shazam are any indication, I think DC is well on its way to redeem itself against Marvel. Highly recommended.

I truly enjoyed this film; plenty of action and thrills, and certainly some violent and scary moments. But on the whole, a refreshingly light-hearted romp. And this 4K Blu Ray package is gorgeously rendered.

Saw the movie in the theatre, but the Blu-ray packs a lot of interesting features that it’s a must buy. The steebook has very pretty artwork, which makes it more desirable. In my humble opinion, even if you aren’t a collector, this Shazam Blu-ray it’s a rare good purchase.

DC finally gets more right than wrong. Shazam has great performances from Levi, but sometimes struggles with it's identity if it was written for the PG or PG-13 crowd. Despise that gripe, it is one of the better DC outings yet in a less dark & gritty DC Cinema universe.

I know this movie has one or two controversial moments, but they are nonsensical, in my opinion. There are a couple surprisingly scary moments, nothing a 10 can't handle though. Great, funny, awesome, movie.
