I really enjoyed this film, but I feel the studio never fully decided who they wanted this film to appeal to. A lot of the humor is juvenile and seems appropriate for a younger audience, but there is also some serious gore and adult language sprinkled throughout the movie. I personally would have enjoyed it more if it had a more consistent tone. All in all, it was enjoyable and entertaining for me… plus, I always love a nice 4K steelbook!

This is perhaps on of the DCEU’s best standalone movies! It’s incredibly clever, it’s family friendly and with great morals and it’s really really good. Freddie and Zachary Levi, as Shazam, are the best parts of the movie! As for the case: This case looks so cool! I love steelbook movies and this case is one of my favorites that I’ve seen.

Absolutely loved the movie this was an absolute must for my beloved steelbooks collection it wasn’t the greatest superhero movie but that’s what makes it great because it was making fun of itself it was awesome for the entire family sad but they’re my greatest superhero of all time Batman my all-time fave this Hass to be want to DC is best

One of the best male comic book coming of age stories made. I’m so tired of the me too movement it’s nice to see boys being boys and showing masculinity instead of always putting men in a feminine light and making women masculine. Make more movies like this please!!!! Hollywood needs to WAKE UP!! There is nothing wrong with masculinity!!!

After a few big missteps, DC has finally been making some solid entertainment. First, “Wonder Woman” wowed audiences while “Aquaman” continued the more fun version of this once bleak universe. Now, “Shazam!” is here and it provides not only fun but also family fun entertainment. The superhero genre meets “Big” in the best way possible and powered by Zachary Levi’s performance, this is one superhero film that shouldn’t be missed.

An interesting second chapter in the DC universe with plenty of room for expansion into not only this key hero, as well as a few spinoffs. Action, comedy and adventure

This movie in my opinion is among the top for DC right along Aquaman and Wonder Woman. This is also a very easy choice for a family movie but is still a great super hero movie overall. I saw this in theaters after being skeptical from the trailer but was ultimately glad I ended up seeing it. If you're a fan of super hero movies get this

I enjoyed Shazam quite a bit. It’s definitely different than your standard superhero movie. Giving a kid such immense powers and sharing that power to overcome difficulty was pretty unique. Love the simplicity of the steelbook, too. I’m glad we didn’t get another comic book style like Aquaman and Wonder Woman. Those just look off to me. Highly recommend Shazam, especially if you’re looking for something different from the genre.

This is one of my favorite DCEU movies. I honestly liked it better than Aquaman. The characters are just more likeable to me. It's also a very fun story. As for the steelbook, its good! My only thing is I wish the artwork better matched the steelbooks for the other DCEU releases (the comic sketch look of the hero on the cover or back cover). It's not drastically sticking out from the rest, but it could've blended in better.

I really enjoyed this movie. It's got a lot for nerds to enjoy, but it also has a lot of heart that makes it great to watch as a family. The only downside is the kid playing Billy Batson. He's way to emo and doesn't feel like the same character that Shazam is portraying. Other than that, it's a lot of fun. Highly recommend.

Wasn’t sure what to think going into this movie. Didn’t know the character and the DC films have been up and down. I was pleasantly surprised with a really fun movie that’s definitely not a throw away character. Nice change of pace and really creative. Jokes don’t feel stale, obnoxious or offensive and that’s hard to do.

This Shazam steelbook is a good addition to your blu ray steelbook collection. The cover art displays a huge lightning bolt on a glossy metal case, inside artwork has a picture of Shazam and young Billy Batson playing video games. I wish the disc art was more exciting though, just a translucent disc with a red lightning bolt, kinda boring. The movie itself was fun and funny. Very enjoyable, it was better than I expected.

Funny story about a kid who was always in trouble, moving from foster home to foster home. As a last resort he is placed with a family with an interesting assortment of kids. He meets a wizard who gives him super powers and makes him an adult. His trials and tribulations are hilarious at times. Good fun for the whole family.

I'm still an avid movie collector and I prefer to buy the collectible 4k steelbook editions. As for, Shazam, it's a great movie for the family. Some old school comic readers will remember that Shazam has another name, Captain Marvel. But as we all know Captain Marvel now is part of the Marvel Universe. So, watch Shazam and enjoy!

Shazam takes a different turn from its other dc films. It has a much more comedic and light hearted feel than the other films and I think that’s just what the dc films need. They don’t always have to be so dark like in the comics. The steelbook design is great too, nothing to big but simple enough to make the design very likable.

I received this for Christmas and absolutely loved it. I grew up watching the TV series of Shazam and had to see if it even close. I actually think the movie version is a whole lot better in terms of special effects, the humor and story telling. It helps if you've never seen the TV version as they are not the same.

Shazam! should be experienced in 3D, a silly but fun family friendly adventure film. Best Buy gets these 3D exclusives and they are sold out almost immediately... Proof many of us still want 3D... Now if only Paramount and Disney would look at the numbers...

This is an Excellent remake of the classic Shazam! I thought it was very well made. It's action packed, funny, and family friendly. Excellent in 3D or 2D. Character development is Terrific. And, finally, wait til you see 'The Twist' the put in the film that is not in the original Shazam! I loved it!!! Nice Job! 5 Star Movie!

I'd have to say that DC did a good job on this movie. Quite a few of their past movies haven't been all that great, but this is one of the ones that stands out! It's funny, entertaining, action packed and of course it has Zachary Levi and he's just awesome. This is a fun comic-book movie to show with friends and family. It does have some intense/scary looking demon characters, so for children, be aware of this.

Shazam is a great family fun film that has a few surprise elements, the 4K Steelbook edition dies not disappoint, quality as usual with the Steelbook packaging with a nice glossy finish, comes with 4k disc, Blu-ray disc, and digital movie code....even has extras like director commentary... definitely the value for the price
