You know, DC has been under attack for not being able to provide good, fun, exciting new Superhero movies, in spite of owning some of the best characters in the world. Well, if Shazam! is any indicator, they're turning around (Wonder Woman was great and Aquaman was fun). Hopefully, it continues this way.

Good change of pace from the overly gritty and pretentious films of some of the other DC films, a nice wholesome movie with a family with great chemistry and one of my favorite films for the family so far, this film is a great time and I'd recommend you watch at least once even if you're a mcu fanboy.

5 Stars isnt enough, this is fun, funny, great story, with new people doing great in their roles, and even though he is a superhero he tends to make fun of his own powers, and kind of is what you yourself might do if this was you. Me, my kids, my grandkids ALL Love this movie, fun for everyone!!!!!!

My daughter really wanted this movie so I bought it for her and we watched the movie together. We both really enjoyed the movie. It's not the typical hero movie of course, so that's what made it interesting. It was lots of fun, good action and interesting to see his character develop in the movie.

This is a great package for the Shazam movie, I love the outside cover art, and the inside is a kick, as well. The movie is very fun, one of DC's best after Wonder Woman, though the baddies are a bit cookie-cutter in motivation and looks. Mark Strong is always great, and Zachary Levi is a treat.

Shazam is the second recent DC universe film (following Wonder Woman) to prove a solid cinema retelling of the comic storyline. Zachary Levi shines as the powerful Billy Batson learning to use his powers for good, and Mark Strong's Dr. Sivana is the perfect villain. Good fun for all ages!

Shazam, or a.k.a. Captain Marvel from the early 1940's, is a fun filled action packed ride of a comic book movie. There are a load of laughs tucked in the seams. This movie again shows that DC is moving in the right direction with their hero films. This is worth watching, so grab your popcorn and inner child to be injected into the world of magic, sorcery, and good family fun.

Movie was a lot of fun much better than what I expected 4K transfer the great. The sound is also wonderful. I recommend this film highly.

This movie is a blast with a lot of heart and excellent acting performances all around. There are a few pretty dark moments that might upset younger kids, but outside of that it's a fantastic family film. In short, if you like the trailers then you'll like this movie. Definite thumbs up.

It's a magic word. Shazam! A way to move to a new reality. From insignificant to the center. From bridled to unbridled. From standing back to moving in. From uncaring to handling. Do we want to have that magic, that gift? But if you do, it's not a moment in time, it's endless time.

Very fun film to watch. Superhero troupe is usually overdone but this was a nice change of pace. The sequel fell short however.

This is the kind of movie that you watch as a kid and it becomes a part of your childhood memories. I showed my kids and they absolutely loved it...we have now seen it twice...once at the theater and again on Blu-Ray. Good grounded story about overcoming fear and accepting responsibility.

The movie itself is fantastic if you haven't already seen it. Otherwise the reason to get the disc is for the extra content. It doesn't disappoint either. Most cuts were made for time not content, so maybe a directors cut in the future could splice those back into an extended edition.

DC has released some stinkers especially when compared to Marvel movies, but this one deserves a spot in your collection. Great movie with supporting cast and looks even better on crystal clear 4k. Even for an up convert, this one looks really good. Great movie and highly recommend!

Not old enough to know the old TV series, but that being said, for the current DC universe, this is the film with the most playful nature. Wonder Woman was powerful and possibly a better story, but Shazam packs a great energy with a boyish charm. Great film. Had me laughing. SHAZAM!

Saw this movie at the theater and had to have it for myself. The original Captain Marvel was always one of my favorites, and this update puts a nice twist on a classic superhero story. Glad to see that DC Comics is finally putting out movies that some of their superheroes deserve.

This is a nice steelbook with a flashy design and great colors. It looks nice on the shelf. The movie looks great in 4k as well. I was surprised by how much I liked the film--it has the feeling of a classic kids adventure movie like Goonies and a decent, creepy villain. The young actors do well too, which isn't always a given. I'd recommend a purchase.

DCEU has brought another Superhero to the Big Screen/Silver Screen in Shazam! Now having Zachary Levi play the older version of Billy Batson aka: Shazam! and having newcomer Asher Angel playing the younger version of Billy Batson aka: Shazam! It’s a great Movie to see/watch and own!

This movie is so entertaining and the plot is surprisingly deep. I love the importance and highlighting of the group home and all its occupants. The dynamics between big/little Shazam with his roommate are enjoyable with clear chemistry. Such a great film by David Sandberg!

Did not see this in the theaters but wanted too. Glad I picked this up and I enjoyed this better than Far from Home. Just plan old more FUN. the 3D was great - 10 times better then the 3D in the Solo movie. Wanted to add tis to my collection as we only buy 3D movies The ending scenes where way funny... It's really too bad the Digital copys can't be 3D as well.
