The fact that the franchise may not have a place in the new DCU is disappointing, however.

Everyone else may be turned off by the typical hero journey.

I actually thought it was kinda cheesy and had trouble staying awake. Will have no desire to watch again.

I honestly was upset by how bad Black Adam was and the announcement that the current DCEU was ending. This film was great! Stepped it up a little from the first one, but not too much that a 3rd film would have too high a bar to reach. I really hope we get a third outing because I want to see what the villain that was teased at the end of both films will lead to.

My biggest issue are the villains, who don't feel threatening and sort of awkward. It definitely feels weird coming from the first film and not having Doctor Sivana nor Mister Mind as the villains. The Steelbook itself is fantastic though, really great design and quality.

Loaded with extras, this exclusive HD steel book collectible edition is a good pick up for any Shazam fan.
