this movie is a good sequel, however, as usual, the first is much better.

Robert Downey does a good job of portraying Sherlock Holmes.

Love Robert Downey Jr but the first one is definitely better

This was OK but not so great that I'd watch it again.

Contrary to the product description, which includes UV digital copy besides the blue ray disc, The disc is received without the UV logo. It took me several phone calls, several agents to get them to understand the matter. After a few days, tried my luck calling again, and got mixed response. I could come across a rep who understood the situation and ordered reshipment, The new one received still didn't have UV logo. I tried UV folks, they concluded after several back and forth emails, that the they can not provide a digital copy, because the package I received from Bestbuy did not have the UV logo. This is a case of non-fulfillment of the order according to the product description. The issue remains unresolved.

Not a great sequel, but it still keeps your interest. Ricard Harris steals the show.

I really enjoyed this movie and have been in the habit of picking up digital copies combo packs. The was my first experience with the Ultra Violet and I am pretty certain it will be my last. First thing they made me do was create two memberships, one for Ultra Violet and one for Flikster. Then it was a pain to download which is stored in a protected file that only their player can access. You can not transfer it to iTunes and I found in a quick internet search this is an ongoing complaint that use to get a response of an iTunes code away. They have stopped that. So unless you have a high capacity Ipad, Ipod Touch (only the touch not nano or classic) or Iphone it won't play it. Even if you do have those devices you will need the Flikster app and the movie itself takes up 1.9 GB

One of the best films that I have seen recently. For me since I have over 150+ DVDs of all movies that I would watch more than once and still love it no matter how many times I have seen it. I love Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law together, they fit eachother perfect complmenting eachother wonderfully. In this move I laugh, worried, cried and would watch it all over again knowing and it stil had the effects on me no matter how many times that I have seen it. If you havnt seen the first one see and then watch this and if you havent seen the first one still watch it. It was visual masterpiece that you can enjoy more times than just the first.

I can't really say much: movie preference is subjective. I can go on about how fantastic the plot is, how great of an actor Robert Downey Jr is, and how great this looked on my flatscreen. But at the end of the day, YOU are ultimately the critic, and you may hate what I love or love what I otherwise hated. I will say this: this movie is for those who enjoy a good movie that makes you think. I can watch this 3-4 times before completely feeling comfortable understanding the underlying plot and how every character ties into the others. Maybe I'm just slow, but I felt the same about the original Sherlock Holmes as well.

Robert Downey Jr. is great!...looking forward to a third movie, please. Rachel McAdams is soooo hot!...fell in love watching the first....just not enough of her in the sequel....and Jude Law makes the perfect sidekick! Realistic 19th century villain and plot...the story keeps your interest throughout the entire movie and there is a lot to laugh about as well. Again, the writers hit it out of the park! I think it's Guy Ritchie's best work to date!,...and the Cinematography for having such a dark backgound, almost a black and white feel is so crisp! I loved it and I highly recommend! MK

The UltraViolet digital copy is not as bad as it used to be. Now you download the Flixter app and your able to download the digital copy permanently to your apple device. You are no longer required to stream the movie. Your video library will now be in two locations but in easily accessible apps.

What can you do to top the first Sherlock Holmes movie? Not much, as this sequel proved. Though well conceived it comes up short on freshness, unless you count on Dr. Watsons lady wife, she was the most new and vibrant charater in this whole movie. At the end, that was seen many times before, lastly on PBS Mystery's. There it showed Holmes and Moriarty going over the edge, but not on how Holmes escaped death. But did Moriarty die? Perhaps in the third installment we'll find out, if people still want this movie to continue.

The second entry in the Sherlock Holmes series does not disappoint. The acting once again is top notch and the plot is great. Downey and Law are awesome as Holmes and Watson and the rest of the cast is great. This movie has enough action, suspense and comedy to keep you throughly entertained. A worthy follow up to the first film.

Special features are not as in depth as the first Sherlock done by Richie. This one does not have the walk through which was excellent the way all bluray special features should be, where you can watch the movie and see the features pop out with descriptions of what lead to the decisions to shoot the sequence in the way they did.

Great Movie. Robert Downey and Jude Law are great together. Buy this movie if you like movies with a great story, action/adventure, and awesome cinematrograpghy. The slow motion action scenes are pretty cool. Also this is a movie I wouldn't mind watching with the whole family and all my friends

This is a smart movie with great action sequences. It's rare that a sequel is as good or even better that the first, but this one has done it! I also like the artwork on Best Buy's exclusive steelbook case, it looks good on the movie shelf.

This movie was better than the first! Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law are FANTASTIC together! The humorous banter between the 2 was great. This is a definite for our library!!! LOVED the ending!

I personally liked it better than the first. The plot may be more confusing, but the movie was more fun and enjoyable. The Blu Ray transfer is also excellent! Unless you are all gun-ho over special features or steelbooks (all a waste of money in my opinion), this is version to buy!

This is a sequel that takes everything that was great from the original and gives you more of it. The action and fun from this film is outstanding. Each character is spot on in performance by great actors. If you enjoyed the first then you will not be disappointed with this film either.

THIS MOVIE IS TERRIFIC. A GREAT SEQUEL. I NEVER REALLY LIKED THE FIRST ONE, BUT THIS ONE IS GREAT. VIDEO IS 4.5/5 AND THE AUDIO IS LOUD AND AGGRESSIVE 5/5. A MUST HAVE FOR ALL COLLECTIONS . ENJOY AND STAY HEAVY !!!
