i like the actors but the british television programs can be so dry

The price on the Blu ray was 24.99, I was charged 32.99.

My wife and I accidently watched the first episode of season 1 a few years ago. We were so hooked that we bought the series and watched the rest of the season that weekend. Each season is only three episodes but at least they are 1 1/2 hours long. I would recommend starting at the beginning to watch the relationships between Sherlock, Watson and Lestrade develop as I think that process is important to the series. Seasons 1 and 2 are on Netflix, but we bought them on Blu-ray anyway as they are worth having in your collection. Highly recommended!

Third season of BBC's ongoing modern-day take on the classic Sherlock Holmes series. This season focuses a bit more on the characters than on the mysteries themselves, but it continues to be a very well made and unique series. Sadly I hear the next season may be the last.

A superb program that will captivate you on every level. Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes and Martin Freeman as Doctor John Watson are spectacular. If you're into the genre, you owe it to yourself to start with the first season. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Sherlock is our favorite BBC series. We love everything about it except that there aren't more episodes. Each episode is about 90 minutes so it is more like 3 movies than TV shows per season. If you haven't seen this show I highly recommend all three seasons.

A must have for any Sherlock fan. And just like all seasons/series of Sherlock, there are 3 episodes, 2 are great, one is a dud, but the 2 great ones are so, so great!! But this and be happy!

To be honest, it was going to be hard to top the first two series of this show... but if you take these as separate entities, they are great fun on their own. It's only when you compare to the excellent previous episodes that you can find reason to complain at all. So any fan of Holmes in general, and the new BBC series in particular will love having these in their home.

I love Sherlock. It is one of my favorite shows to watch, but season 3 does not quite mean expectation as it did with Season 1 or 2. The episodes are good, but if you're looking for the old Sherlock format then you might not like this season. Season 3 was good but probably the weakest of season released to date.

Sherlock is an incredible show. Benedict Cumberbatch is an amazing actor, and this season has some of his best moments. A must-watch.
