sherlock with benedict cumberbatch i'm in. love the show!

Love Sherlock Holmes and Benedict Plays him wonderfully.

Likable take on Sherlock saga. Sherlock Past and Future.

What a Good Movie can't wait to watch it over and over.

I enjoyed the Sherlock Holmes series through Netflix and wanted more of the same. I suppose the twist on time periods may appeal to some, but not to me. Perhaps this sets up another season or series (hopefully) but to me this should have been done in a modern setting.

Good filler movie in between seasons. Worth the watch.

Acting and production were, as is usual for the series, superb. The plot kept your attention, but I found its solution to be a little too contrived to be enjoyable. Mycroft's character seemed a little silly. Condition and playability of the disc were fine.

Even for "Sherlock," this offering was offbeat in more ways than one, going back to the Victorian era for a kind of "war against women" story line. It was still quite worthwhile, though.

I'd say average is a good call for this movie,don't get me wrong it's a good movie.I suppose I've always liked the Sherlock movies when I was younger.

Love sherlock. Very sad and dark season. Would have liked to see more of the traditional comedy and quirky moments.

I wanted to find out how it ended so I saw the whole movie, but I wouldn't have purchased it if I had seen it on TV

The show itself is outstanding. The price of this item made the deal all that more special.

Not the Sherlock Holmes I was excepting, just a rehash of the first couple episodes.

The story was ok. Not as good as the series. I would recommend it.

Had heard good things about the series and enjoy a good mystery. I should have been clued in by the cover art. This episode was aimed at shock value and light on logic. It uses the old trick of "dreams" or imagination to overcome inconsistencies and disjointed sequencing.

It was nice to have this episode to bridge the gap between seasons, but the overall mystery felt underwhelming. Still a good watch.

I am a huge fan of the Sherlock TV series and I felt that this was lacking some of the same magic that I'm used to.

I intended to purchase Sherlock Season 1 on Blu Ray on sale and the Best Buy store purchase desk gave me this instead. I didn't notice it until a few days later and decided to keep the movie instead of going back for a refund. I'm glad I kept the movie! I think this movie probably serves as a great introduction to the series. The plot is about a case the 19th century Sherlock Holmes had about a bride that appeared to kill people from beyond the grave. I was a bit disappointed when I thought the movie would all be set in the 21st century but the majority is set in the 19th century. There's a good interplay between the historical period and the current 21st century Sherlock. The plot's exciting and kept me wondering about the solution to the end. It's a great movie!
