Shokz OpenComm is worth it!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had the other Shokz that was the Mini with no talking boom and worked ok but using it with calls was not optimum. Since my wife has to support a lot of calls during the day, we decided to try this one. So far it's been a safe decision as she said no more complaints of noise or unclear calls. Charging is also quick with the charging USB cable! This also has noise cancelation so that's why these are better than the regular OpenRun. The only reason it gets a star reduis because there is no way to find this headset if lost like Find My iPods. There are also complaints that the talking boom is not detachable. It can rotate out of the way, but gets caught up in your hair.

Best product ever made.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best product I ever bought. It has amazing voice quality. And whatever I say is clearly heard on other side. I do lots of online calling. No other devices work good on online calling. And battery last for almost 2 days. A must buy for everyone.

Rocked by Aftershokz
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Most comforting Bluetooth headset I have ever had. I usually forget that I am wearing them because they are fairly lightweight. Plus since this headset goes over the tops of each ear they are very secure, don’t need to worry about the headset falling off or having to readjust the headset.

Call Center Game Changer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only headset I can wear all day comfortably. Phone quality is amazing, battery life is phenomenal. I wouldn’t use them for music but that’s not what they’re intended for. I have bad hearing and this bypasses that entirely. Well worth the money

Best Headset for Videocalls
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like many people, I've spent a lot of time in online meetings and conference calls. I've tried several different headsets to find the right balance between good audio while listening and a good mic that doesn't make me sound like I am in a coffee can. A coworker suggested AfterShokz, and I immediately went for the OpenComm. It took a couple minutes to get used to the bone-conduction audio, but I love the way I can hear what's going on in the room while I am on a call. And the people at the other end consistently say that my mic sounds great! I've used these almost every day for a year and I can honestly say this is the best headset for Zoom, WebEx, Teams, etc etc. The only "con" is that wearing them for a long time can give you a headache that starts in your temples-- for that reason I suggest taking them off between meetings. Highly recommended!

Shokz OpenComm C102
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really like this headset. Very clear sound, and having nothing in your ear is nice when you are not on a call. Only negative is not much bass for music, and not as loud as I would like.

Good purchase
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Use it for work mostly. Does not fall off like my ear buds do. Open ear, lets me hear my surroundings. Noise canceling microphone works well in a slightly noisy environment. Good bluetooth range. Battery charge, last me the whole workday(+9hrs) while steaming.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great little headset. I like m Aftershoks bone conduction headphones, they work great for me, so when I saw this I knew I had to give it a try for my Teams meetings. They workgreat. Great headset with microphone.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very sleek and nice fit and finish. Looks to be well made. Does what is says it should do. Just wish it was a little bit louder, but I am hard of hearing. I like the fact that they do not cover my ears when wearing them.

No more sore ears!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for comfort, after trying several "in ear" headset models. I can wear this all day with no uncomfortable pressure points or my ears getting sore. The sound is first rate, those at the other end have said it sounds like I'm calling from a land line.

A Game Changer
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looks like Best Buy doesn't allow 1/2 stars or I would give this baby a 4.5 stars, but only because I haven't fully tested it yet in all environmental situations and because there is a hefty price, but as my Dad always said, "You get what you pay for son". Other than that, I will say that this is a DEFINITE game changer for me. I have had problems for years finding earbuds or headsets that would fit in my ear, but alas my ears seem to be too unique to keep anything in them successfully. That is where AfterShokz comes in and just "kills it with quality"!! Putting this headset on and not having to put anything in my ears and still having the same (and I would say even better) quality than ones for my ears; I mean what a difference! If anyone is concerned about degredation in sound fear not for AfterShokz has the answer with the OpenComm Bone Conduction Stereo Bluetooth Headset. I couldn't be happier.

Bone conductor
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my favorite headset because it does not take your ears of the road to other sounds around you i am a truck driver so that is a big plus for me , the only issue i see is the battery life now doesn't last as long as it use to .

Good but not great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the AfterShokz Aeropex so much that I bought this for work (and to replace my old Logitech headset H800). Opencomm has the same bone conduction benefits (no ear fatigue or ringing after long use, don't have to take it off to talk to others). Light, easy fit, solid construction, good battery life, and decent mic quality. The letdown was the audio quality and quick operation. Audio quality is noticeably worse than Aeropex. I wish the operation like mute was easier (have to hold down two buttons). Logitech is ahead with UI. Overall a good buy but I hope Aftershokz will improve the bone conduction driver and UI aspects.

Great Sound Quality w/o Covering Your Ears
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had AfterShokz headset without the dedicated microphone before mainly for riding my bicycle so I could listen to background music or podcast. These as well as my other AfterShokz work really well in providing quality sound even using the bone conductive method which gives you quality sound without covering you ear canal. The transducer sits just front of your ear and works surprising well on sound quality and extremely comfortable. I only upgraded to these for the better microphone pickup for when out got a ride and have to deal with a work call. I also plan on using them for Zoom/FaceTime calls since the battery last much long than my AirPods. Only negative is the cost, but I used a birthday 10% off coupon from B/B and some reward points to bring the cost down some. They don’t fold up to get smaller, but do come with a case and magnetic charge cord. They are very light and you can hardly tell you have them on you.

Good solution for a specific use case scenario
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the Shokz OpenComm is a great solution for those needing to have a headset on while keeping the ear canal open. It does work, but the downside is, the vibration gets a little bit getting used to.

Get them
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are surprisingly impressive! I use them for executive coaching phone calls, virtual training, and video meetings. They switch easily from computer to phone so I can use them to listen to music in between. They’re great.

AfterShoks Great Products - Boom Isn't a Help
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pro - Ear free for all day wearing, un-tethered (remote working able to walk to kitchen for another tea or snack, or take a bio-break) Con - Not Enough Better Than Aeropex and cannot overcome poor VoIP Bluetooth implies VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) and to have high quality requires the local router to be optimized (separate) VoIP traffic, otherwise quality will suffer... so that's likely 1-of=2 reasons the OpenComm didn't work for us... I have Aeropex (lighter & sans boom) and quality is slightly better, mainly because I don't run through Avya Commicator (Windows software) dialer/ringer = sucky excuse for a dialer. But to be clear (pun) the boom adds little to the quality of voice transmitted, the customers complained, so this product was returned. I tested both/every-way with this model and my Aeropex and the quality was too poor, or cell-phone-to-cell-phone the quality wasn't improved enough to justify, and we reverted to a $40 wired model... Aeropex has one feature; Multi-Paring, hold-on wait for PAIRING, then press/hold multifunction key and Multi-Paring On, means I can connect to both Windows PC for a call/meeting and also to my phone at the same time, switching as needed from a PC call/meeting to a cell phone call easily (well relatively easy, it helps to know where in the PC meeting software are the Device Settings to force use of the Aeropex vs PC speaker & mic) Yes, my 11+ year old Modem/Router (DOCIS 3.0 prisoner of Spectrum) all in One does not have a VoIP separator feature, so that's where my next purchase will be, I'll watch for a future version of the OpenComm... :)

AfterShokz headset
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These worked great but I ultimately returned them due to Blu-tooth connection issues that were of no fault of this item. I opted for a wireless set of headphones instead for my situation.
