Absolutely love those earbuds and considering that the app is still not supporting this newly launched model, I am sure that the experience is going to be even better. With that being said, the Shokz Open Fit 2 is a very high-quality and comfortable pair of earbuds that I would definitely recommend to others. First of all, when you get the box, you are greeted with the user guide, USB-C to USB-C charging wire, the carrying case, and the two Open Fit 2 earbuds. The manual gives a quick guide on how to start using the device with great diagrams on how to put it on. In my case, because the app is still not supporting this model, the connection was with my phone's Bluetooth. The earbuds themself each have a designated touch area, which in my current experience didn’t do anything, in the meantime the physical button that can pause music, move to your next track, move to your previous track, and increase or decrease volume, which I have actually found very useful. There is also a button on the charging case which also does nothing. When you first put them on, it sounds pretty quiet, but you get used to it pretty fast, and let me tell you, that audio quality is awesome. Of course, because this is an open-fit model, the earbuds allow you to very clearly hear anything around you which I personally find great. Surprisingly, if you have something playing on these, people around you won’t really be able to hear what you are listening to which I think is also pretty cool. Back to connections, while connecting the Bluetooth to your phone, the process is really easy. That isn’t something I could say while connecting to my computer though. I understand that the model can be connected to at least two devices but I have tried on multiple occasions to try to connect these earbuds to my computer and that was a more difficult task. I would also hate to forget the fact these earbuds have amazing battery life. I have been able to use these for three days straight without needing to charge them. The attention to detail on this device is great, it is clear that they spent a lot of time working on this. One last thing I would like to mention is the fact that despite the fact that these earbuds look like they would hold on tight, whenever I was doing any activity with them, the earbuds do easily get loose and never fall off. This is a great issue though you are aiming to secure your asset. All in all, these are some really great earbuds, are very high quality, feel awesome, and I would definitely recommend

Solid open ear headset from Shokz

There are times when you're listening to music or on a call and you want to shut the rest of the world out - perhaps you're on your daily commute or in a loud open office or such. Other times though, you don't mind hearing the world around you - maybe you're at home but still want to listen semi-privately to music or need to take the conference call after hours from the house. It's that second set of times where open ear headsets like this OpenEar2 setup from Shokz can come in handy. The OpenEar2 earbuds (I call them that even though they aren't really true earbuds, but you get the picture) are very comfortable to wear, as they're fairly light and well-balanced. As someone that wears in-ear noise cancelling earbuds for conference calls 30+ hours a week, it's nice to have something that sits OUTSIDE my ear too sometimes when I'm not in need of the full silence. Sound quality is good too, though not QUITE as good as a high end in ear set, but the range is good (of course without deep base given the size) and the notes of music are clear across high, mid and mid-low ranges. Spoken word is also quite clear and the microphones are good for picking up outgoing voice without much in the way of background noise. Given the overall size / shape of the headset, the case is a bit larger than the now tiny TWS in ear sets, but not troublesome or oversized, it's still an easy fit in a pocket or purse. Battery life appears to be good, though I do wish these was a way to tell from the case what the level of charge is (some other cases use a series of LEDs to indicate charge level, but not here) and charging is easy from USB-C. Fit is generally good and should be universal, but they're somewhat less secure than in-ear buds and not sure I'd trust them fully to stay in while running or cycling, but they'd probably be fine while lifting weights at the gym. Quality of both the earbuds set and the case itself is quite good and they should prove to be durable in use - or at least as durable as any similar set. So if you want to give your ears a rest from in ear buds without losing much in the way of audio quality or microphone / outgoing quality, these are a great option from a known company in Shokz. Give them a try today!

Completely worth it, despite the fact that the price is a little steep, i changed my OpenRun Pro for these guys, even though both are fantastic, Battery life is insane, they can last for a LONG time and the build quality is pretty awesome, considering i dont feel them in my ears most of the time. also their warranty is really really good.

Love these new Shokz OpenFit2 headphones. Noticeable improvement in the drivers with better bass and high notes. The comfort is superb - i really hate having traditional buds stuffed in my ears. Stayed nice and secure on my run this morning too!!

First, I want to state that this review is just for the ear buds themselves without the app. I hope that the app will allow some sound customizations. That said though, these are great. The sound is not the greatest, but they still sound pretty good for not being in your ear. One thing for me that I consider is comfort. Especially for myself as my left ear has a lump. I was afraid with these as they sit where my lump is. Most earbuds that go into the ear, fall out due to this. These fit great and I had no issues even wearing for long periods. Because these do not go into your ear canal, you can hear things happening around. So, if you are looking for noise cancelling ear buds, these are not for you. I like this fact myself, as that allows me to wear at work, home, walking etc. and still hear things around me. They do drown out noise some but not all the way. But even with noise, I was still able to hear music, videos etc. just fine. The part that goes around the ear, is a soft plastic type material so it flexes instead of a hard plastic. My wife could hear that I was listening to something but could not hear what it was, and this was with the volume all the way up. Overall, for me these are great with both my ears. I am glad to finally find great ear buds that feel comfortable for both my ears. I recommend these if you do not need noise canceling.

I was really interested in these headphones, as I medically cannot use in ears, but I found that with smaller ears these don’t sit very well within my ears. I tried following the instructions that said to rotate them, but they either sat in a position that put pressure and hurt my outer ear, or they started entering my ear canal. Good and cool product, especially for an open ear with great treble and bass, but not great if you have smaller ears.
