Ive used the older original openfits since they launched durable and sound good but had some cons. They werent loud enough,back part rubbed my ear making them uncomfortable over long usage and battery life was too short. These openfit 2's improve on everything. Fit is better they dont push on my ear as much as the older ones. Sound volume is drastically improved these will get loud and seem to have a broader sound quality. Im now keeping volume 1/2 to 3/4 instead of fullblast and also helps with phone calls a lot. They do have a noticable difference in design feels like the weight is more spread out feeling more like im not wearing anything. Case is a tad bit different but still looks pretty close to older ones design but more rounded. Overall very pleased with them their very worthy of the cost of upgrading to them.

The Good: Sound great, Don't need to go in ear canal, Stay put, Light weight. The bad: You must accept releasing personal date and ads to use all features.

First, I want to state that this review is just for the ear buds themselves without the app. I hope that the app will allow some sound customizations. That said though, these are great. The sound is not the greatest, but they still sound pretty good for not being in your ear. One thing for me that I consider is comfort. Especially for myself as my left ear has a lump. I was afraid with these as they sit where my lump is. Most earbuds that go into the ear, fall out due to this. These fit great and I had no issues even wearing for long periods. Because these do not go into your ear canal, you can hear things happening around. So, if you are looking for noise cancelling ear buds, these are not for you. I like this fact myself, as that allows me to wear at work, home, walking etc. and still hear things around me. They do drown out noise some but not all the way. But even with noise, I was still able to hear music, videos etc. just fine. The part that goes around the ear, is a soft plastic type material so it flexes instead of a hard plastic. My wife could hear that I was listening to something but could not hear what it was, and this was with the volume all the way up. Overall, for me these are great with both my ears. I am glad to finally find great ear buds that feel comfortable for both my ears. I recommend these if you do not need noise canceling.

Love these new Shokz OpenFit2 headphones. Noticeable improvement in the drivers with better bass and high notes. The comfort is superb - i really hate having traditional buds stuffed in my ears. Stayed nice and secure on my run this morning too!!

Very comfortable. You forget that you are wearing them. They stay put even while very active. Perfect for the gym.

I love the earpods because tthey are very easy to use and they doesnt hurt the ears

Great headphones for price..comfortable too..just wish the case was wireless charging capable

Comfortable when running and lets you be aware of what's around you

I was really interested in these headphones, as I medically cannot use in ears, but I found that with smaller ears these don’t sit very well within my ears. I tried following the instructions that said to rotate them, but they either sat in a position that put pressure and hurt my outer ear, or they started entering my ear canal. Good and cool product, especially for an open ear with great treble and bass, but not great if you have smaller ears.

These work ok. The volume is too low when noisy. Plus, IF YOU LOSE ONE YOU CAN'T REPLACE IT OR MANAGE YOUR REMAINING EARBUD. YOU HAVE TO RE-BUY EVERYTHING AGAIN. I WON'T. They are easy to lose because they are comfortable.

The 1 star is more for the online purchase experience due to being sent the openfit air model after buying the more expensive openfit 2. With that being said, I can not rate the product I bought since I didn’t actually get it. I will say the openfit air model that I was sent left a lot to be desired for me since it would die in such a short period of time seemly always trying to connect to my phone when I was not using them.

Bought my first one on Jul 2023 and it died exactly 1y later, Jul 2024. I thought it was just bad luck and replaced with a brand new one, which died now - less than 1y this time. I loved the product but the low quality is really frustrating, will not buy this again. Luckily I have the membership so i can still return it for full refund
