    Much better than OpenFit 1!

I had the original OpenFits and used them almost daily, often for several hours a day. I loved them, but had three primary frustrations that the OpenFit 2s have resolved: The 2s are louder, allowing them to be used more when there's more ambient noise. The battery is phenomenally better, both for the buds and the case. It's made a huge difference in practical day-to-day use. The multi-point pairing is much more stable and properly working. The feature on the 1s was finicky, and if I was using them on a virtual call on my computer and my phone rang, they would completely disconnect from the computer, even if I didn't accept the call. I would have to toggle bluetooth on the computer to get them to reconnect. Really not ideal. They will primarily connect to the phone when ringing, but fully reconnect on their own to the computer. So overall, I'm satisfied. They are quite comfortable though I don't notice much difference compared to the 1s. I don't end up using the controls much, so the physical buttons are not a make-or-break for me, but they do allow for more control on the buds, which is nice. In the end, these have been worthwhile upgrade from the first version.

These work exactly as they suggest. The music actually sounds like it's playing in the room with you, rather than directly in your ear. Battery life is surprisingly good too. They can be cumbersome if you have long hair, though.

Wife loves them. She has small ears so buds dont work and they fall out. This is the first pair that are actually useable and comfortable. Sound great too!

The Shokz Openfit 2 earbuds offer a unique concept of open ear design earbuds that allow you to jam to your beats while being aware of your surroundings. While this is a great idea, it does come with some drawbacks. This was my first time trying out earbuds with the open concept design and I was impressed at first with the design and how comfortable they were to wear and how well they stayed on but kind of disappointed once I powered them on. Well, let’s go over what the new Shokz Openfit 2 has to offer. The first thing I want to go over is how comfortable these earbuds are. They honestly feel like you are not wearing any at all and are great for extended wear, no more pressure and heat build-up in your ears. These are great for wearing while you’re working out and don’t have to worry about the ear buds falling out. These ear buds essentially fit over and around the back of your ear while the speaker rests above your ear canal. Now, let’s go over where the Shokz Openfit 2 are lacking and that is the sound quality. While the open ear design is comfortable and allows for situational awareness, the sound quality is compromised. Firstly, there is significant sound leakage, meaning pretty much everyone around me can hear what I am listening to if I have the volume turned up all the way. Secondly, the audio quality is quite lacking. Everything you listen to just sounds flat; the overall audio experience is my experience subpar. Now there may be an option to adjust the equalizers in the app once you are able to connect the earbuds to the application, but not sure how much of a difference they would make. I was not able to connect the earbuds to the Shokz application at the time I tested out the earbuds. Lastly, the battery life. While I was not able to find the specs for the Openfit 2 anywhere online, I did find that that Openfit offer around 7 hours of battery life, and I would assume that these earbuds would offer somewhere around the same area. I had these on for about a few hours at a time while completing my daily tasks and taking phone calls, I did not run into any battery issues. Overall, The Shoks Openfit 2 are comfortable pair of earbuds and allowing for situational awareness but due to the sound quality and leakage , I would not be able to recommend these to anyone.

Bought as a gift. Recipient really likes how comfortable they are, as they don't move when in place and have great sound. He prefers these to traditional earbuds that go inside the ear.

The wireless ear buds sit snugly close to the ear canal without putting pressure on the ear lobes or behind the ears. Dual drivers reproduce clear audio for both music and talk. Enjoyable to wear both at home and while exercising.

This is my new go to ear piece. Comfortable enough that I can wear it all day and not feel any discomfort. Sound is good in most cases. Can be difficult to hear in loud environments.

The sound quality is great and the earbuds fit firmly over the ear, but the open ear design still allows me to hear what’s going on around me. This feature make it better especially when riding my bicycle.

This would be my 3rd Shokz product and love them .. they sound amazing for not being in your ear and can’t get over how well they fit. Very comfortable even after 5-8 miles of running.. tried Bose and other brands and these are leading the pack in my opinion..Thank you

My wife has issues with fit with inear buds so this is a great option. Very comfortable, super sound, nice case and secure. I was surprised how good they sound. Great for walks, gym, etc where you dont need full over larger headphones like for the airplanes. Recommend

Working out is already a toll on the body and I have found that the wrong headphones can take a toll on the ears. I have used everything from Airpods 1st Gen, Airpods Pro, Airpods MAX, Jaybird Runs, Bose QuietComfort (in-ear and over-ear), and most recently the quiet comfort ultras. Pros: The sound quality for Open-Ear buds was great. Even with not being in your ears, they produce a large quality sound without annoying your ears. The battery life has been amazing as well. I have purchased these a week or so ago and with using them 1-2 hours a day, have not charged the case. The MEH: The fit seems weird. I am not considering this a pro or a con because over the ear is a weird fit for some people and this is my first time wearing something like this. They do NOT bounce around like I was worried and overall comfy however, that is once you get them in the right place for you. The CONS: Possibly the size of the case. I loved the other headphones I had because of how small the cases were to slip in and out of my pocket however with the battery life this case gives, I will look the other way. I do not recommend them for phone calls due to the microphone being iffy however, 8/10 would recommend for any person running or wanting music without Noise Cancelation!

I love the feel of these headphones. The open ear concept is great for heading your surroundings while also enjoying my music. I only use these while working out and have never felt that they would fall off or out while running. I also typically walk around the gym and the Bluetooth connection distance is amazing! Highly recommend!

I've tried so many different types of headphones for my wife. In ear, neckband, beats over the ear. She didn't like any of those. But she actually likes these! She said she forgets that they're on her ear because they're so comfortable. Great sound

These are far more comfortable than any of the in-ear models I’ve tried. They stay in place very well. They don’t block out my surroundings which is more comfortable to me as well. My only complaint so far is sometimes when I answer a call it doesn’t automatically connect to the headphones. I have to switch it manually. This seems random when it happens. I also don’t hear text notifications. I have to check my phone so I don’t miss anything important. I use these mostly for work.
