Great open ear buds, but not for the price.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, I love these. I've used aftershokz aeropex as my daily headphones for a very long time and they are great for what they are, but they bone conduction has some disadvantages for sure. I have tried a bunch of very cheap soundpeats clip on and open ear headphones, as well as several anker open ear options off amazon and nothing was quite right. The shokz openfit 2 actually fit just about perfect, even though both my ears are large and very differently shaped they are comfortable and wearable with shades and a hat very easily, and pretty easy to forget you are wearing. Where my issues come up is that the sound is not significantly better than many other cheap open ear solutions, or even business comm headsets like my plantronics voyager. It's acceptable. The multipoint pairing works, but it's a little janky, starting late and lagging terribly on PC. I know they are bluetooth and not low latency but for 180$ they should be. They just absolutely should be. Additionally, many cheaper headphones offer wireless charging in the case, and power share with phones that have wireless charging and power share. Why don't these? Obviously ANC isn't really something you need with open ear, but that's included with airpods at the same price, as well as powershare. I'm not an apple fan, but I feel like if you can't beat apple's feature set at the same price point, you've failed consumers. Additionally, the app does not render correctly on my fold 5 when opened, and has spelling errors in the pop up messages. Again, for a 180$ set of open ear buds, this is baffling. So while I love how these fit and I will keep them, I feel like the right price for this feature set is 99$, especially when compared to many other offerings and the best thing these offer to me is comfort, but many others were nearly as comfortable. I feel like I overpaid I feel like they are out of range for what folks should be paying for these features and at a minimum at the price they are charging they should offer power share and wireless charging, an ultra low latency mode (toggleable in app as it'd likely have a battery cost, especially with multipoint) and ideally better multipoint experience overall with smart switching between audio sources, and options. for me I want to hear music on my phone until PC audio starts - then when it stops, I'd like the phone music to resume. That's like, top usage for multipoint, so why does it pause? I would wait for a sale or black friday for these, or if the physical button isn't important to you consider the gen1 of the product for 129.

Shokz: My New Favorites!!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always been a connoisseur of headphones! I mean, I love them. I have had some bad ones, mediocre ones, and a few that I find myself grabbing every time I head out the door. I am adding the Shokz OpenFit 2 to that list! First, they are the most comfortable headphones I have ever used! Not having that nagging discomfort of in ear headphones after an hour or so of using them is so freeing! Second…the sound is absolutely phenomenal. I cannot believe I can have this sound quality with open ear headphones and the trifecta… Third… They stay put! Back to the comfort, they are lightweight, the case fits into my pocket with ease and has a very low profile. The case secures the earphones with a nice magnetic click and charges them. On the ear, Shokz has found the perfect balance between being secure to keep them on my ear and loose enough that I don’t feel them digging into my ear. When I say snug, I have run 8-minute miles in them and they stay right where I need them to. To be fair, I am not sure I would use them for basketball due to potential contact but for yoga, running and even tennis…AMAZING! I can even lay in bed with them on and I am a stomach sleeper…yes I can lay my head to the right or left and they stay on. Not always perfect but way better and more comfortable than other headphones I have used to date. Back to the Sound, It’s funny… when I first got them out of the case I popped them on and thought…”Ok, the sound is good but I expected more”…WELL turns out there was a fine plastic sticker that covered the headphones and even with that I thought they were ok!!! When I removed the fine protective sticker from the speaker…WOW! The rich sound, clear and sharp! The base is a little lower than I like but that is one of the trade-offs for over-the-ear versus in-the-ear in my opinion. It’s a small trade-off though. The base is solid. Podcasts sound amazing. The voices sound like they are in the room with me! The drawbacks???? Small gripes really, I wish the case had wireless Qi charging. It’s usb C and charges really fast but dropping them on a Qi wireless charging pad would be nice. The battery life is also phenomenal. Overall I needed these in my earphone lineup! The traditional Shokz tandem earphones that wrapped around the neck was a turn-off for me, but the OpenFit 2 look really sharp! Sometimes I love to disappear in noise cancelling headphones, big over the ear melt into a couch kind. Sometimes I need that in a more portable noise-reducing mow the grass kind of in-ear headphones…BUT Sometimes…I want to exercise, do chores around the house and need to have situational awareness and I can just listen to awesome music or podcasts and actually forget I am wearing headphones….That’s what Shokz OpenFit 2 gives me…Comfort with amazing sound! I really love them! My new Favorite! Outstanding tech!!!!

A Runners Must have Earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I first got my hands on the Shokz OpenFit 2 earbuds, I was pumped to see how they compared to other in-ear buds I have daily driven for the past couple of years. As an avid outdoor runner, these looked like they would be perfect and they did not disappoint. Right out of the box, the OpenFit2 earbuds look and feel premium. They're extremely lightweight, where at times I would completely forget I was even wearing them, and the soft silicone coating gives them a comfortable and sturdy feel. Unlike in-ear earbuds that go into your ear canal, these rest gently outside your ears and that little flap. I won't lie at first, I was a tad skeptical about how secure they’d feel, but once I put them on, they stayed firmly in place even when using them for lifting and doing yoga. The open-ear design is great for staying aware of your surroundings, which is crucial for outdoor activities like running, walks or cycling. When it comes to sound quality, I was very surprised. Open-ear designs often struggle with bass and overall richness, but the OpenFit2 delivered a balanced sound profile. The highs are clear, the mids are balanced, and the bass, while not as deep as closed-earbuds, is impressive for this type of design. Watching videos and listening to podcasts felt natural, and music had a surprisingly full sound. The call quality of these are acceptable. The dual noise-canceling microphones work well, ensuring the person on the other end can hear me clearly, even when I’m in a slightly noisy environment. Pairing the earbuds with my devices was effortless. Just hold the pairing button inside the case and select them from your Bluetooth devices. I particularly enjoyed using these in my office, because normally with traditional closed-earbuds, I would only keep one in so I could hear my surroundings but with these I can work and listen to my podcasts while working and still be able to hear my surroundings. Battery life is always a dealbreaker for me, but the OpenFit2 exceeded my expectations. I easily got around 9–10 hours of playtime on a single charge, and the charging case added another two full charges. The quick-charge feature came in handy, giving me about 2 hours of use after just a 5-minute charge. With my old pair of in-ear buds, I would be lucky to get through to my lunch break without having to charge them and they easily got me through my whole work day and then threw them in the charging case and after work they are fully charged for my afternoon run. Despite all the positives, the OpenFit2 isn’t perfect. Since it’s an open-ear design, there is some sound leakage that is noticeable at higher volumes. If you’re in a quiet room or office, people around you might catch snippets of your music or podcast. Also, while the open-ear design is great for awareness, it obviously does struggle in noisy environments like a busy gym where I would have had to crank up the volume to drown out the background noise, which is expected. One little nitpick I have is its lack of volume control on the ear bud. I wish the bud had some sort of touch sensitive swipe that would allow you to control the volume without having to use your smart device. Pros Very comfortable for extended wear. Secure fit, even during physical activity. Clear, balanced sound for an open-ear design. Decent call quality with noise-canceling microphones. Long battery life with quick-charge capability. Cons Sound leakage at higher volumes. Struggles in very noisy environments. Bass isn’t as rich as in-ear or over-ear models. Overall, the Shokz OpenFit2 earbuds are a fantastic choice for anyone who enjoys outdoor activities and who also values comfort, situational awareness, and solid sound quality. These have definitely earned a spot in my daily rotation, especially for my outdoor runs and podcast listening while working in the office. If you’re okay with the trade-offs compared to traditional closed-ear bud designs, these earbuds are worth checking out.

High End Earbuds with a Twist!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.THIS… Is the Shokz OpenFit 2, Shokz second generation of bud less, sport earbuds and honestly one of the most unique ‘earbuds’ I have ever tried on. Shokz makes some very unique headphone / audio products, so I knew I was in for a treat when I saw these. Ok, so what is so nifty about the OpenFit 2’s that any other earbuds aren’t? These earbuds do not enter your ear canal! These earbuds slip semi onto your ear canal / next to your tragus and shoot the sound down your ear canal to deliver sound… and it is pretty good at it! Ok so starting chronologically, opening these are just like any other earbuds until you take the case out…and this might be the lightest/slimmest case I have ever held. The case was small enough that it could fit into all of my running shorts/pants and light enough that I never noticed it was even there. The case, while still holding a good charge for the earbuds, was virtually unnoticeable in my runs or lifts which is fantastic to not have to feel the case pressed into my leg on a run. Once you take the earbuds out of the case, though, I only had one question… How the heck do I wear these? Where does the sound come from? And how do these even stay in your ear? It is super simple, you the straps / prongs slip over your ears tightly and you simply hold the earbud onto your ear/tragus area while it shoots audio down your ear canal. Now his is where my only setup problem occurred. For my wife and I, it felt like the earbud was going to perpetually fall out of our ear for the first little while since it doesn’t anchor into your ear canal. After a bit (an hour or so), it got better and eventually that sensation did go away permanently with time. What is awesome about the OpenFit 2’s is that they really feel secure during workouts, runs and in day to day life whereas my other in ear earbuds would either fall out or feel like they are about to fall out during my lifts and certainly during my runs. You also don’t have to fiddle with the earbuds tip size and the inevitable wax goblin that they create, which is always a nice +1! The OpenFit 2’s have quickly wedged themselves as my go to for workouts and running due to just how secure they feel. I think that the Shokz OpenFit 2’s are also fantastic for those that do not have normal ear canals, my brother has abnormally small ones and he really enjoyed the idea of not having to order a custom set for his earbuds to fit right. So although these are generally meant for sport, I really like the physical design and find that it makes earbuds more accessible for those with alternative anatomy that makes hearing difficult, and for those like my wife who hate the tipped earbuds. Something else that I really enjoyed about the ergonomics of the OpenFit 2, was that I was able to wear these while laying my head on a cushion or in bed without having to feel the bud press deeper into my ear. Now that we have covered all of the groundwork here… how do they sound? Well, the short answer is pretty good! Something I wanted to touch on first was just how interesting / unique the OpenShock 2’s sound… as they aren’t firing the sound directly into your ear but more ‘bouncing’ sound into your ears. This gives a really pleasant concert-esque sound that really just has to be tried to understand. It almost makes the music / podcast / video sound like it is actually coming from a larger speaker. Obviously, the counter to not having a physical bud that goes into your ear, there is no noise canceling. Passive or active, there is really no external sound dampening. That being said, erroneous sounds are only as bad as your environment, but there is no stopping them if they do exist outside of turning up the OpenFit 2’s. When you turn the volume up on these earbuds, apart from being not as loud as traditional earbuds, the OpenFit 2’s still retains a crip sound everywhere except bass. I am not sure if it is the lack of isolation, the way the sound has to enter the ear or the speaker drivers, but bass just doesn’t have that same thump as a true in ear earbud. Something interesting though, is that the thud of bass still thuds through the prongs/straps (whatever the technical term is) that wrap around your ears. I didn’t find the bass to be so lacking that it was a deal breaker… but something I certainly was able to notice as the volume was turned up. I really did love these when I was interacting with other people though, as it was so easy to hear my music and talk to someone at the same time without having to fiddle with my phone or my earbuds to turn the sound down or off. The OpenFit 2’s also have a physical play/pause button which is always a huge +1. The OpenFit 2’s do pretty well in most applications, but I found them to really excel when I was running as I didn’t hear myself breathing as much due to the lack of physical noise isolation. To wrap this up, I really can’t think of any complaints to bring forward! Battery life is so good that I don’t even think about it and I have dropped these enough to know if they were going to fall apart (team butterfingers). I think that I need to clarify a few things real quick though. Are these the best sounding earbuds? No, but they really don’t have to be. These are sport earbuds, and they are genuinely the best ‘sport’ or ‘athletic’ earbuds that I have ever used. The design of them is unique and takes some getting used to, but I have never had an earbud feel so secure on my ear while being active like these earbuds. Regardless, if it is casual listening around the house, or on a run, I found that the unique ergonomics really outweighed some of the downfalls regarding the lack of bass, but that's why I urge you to try the OpenFit 2’s and also what makes Best Buy awesome. You never have to worry about buying earbuds that you don’t like or that don't mesh with your flow! So there is no harm in testing if the Shokz OpenFit 2 is right for you. Until next time :)

We highly recommend ensuring that the latest firmware version via the Shokz app for the best experience with your OpenFit 2 :) There is also a phone setting that may resolve the low volume issue. -On the iPhone, go to Settings > Sound & Haptics > Headphone Safety, make sure that the Reduce Loud Audio Feature is switched off as this will affect the volume of the headphone. -On an Android, go to the Bluetooth Settings on the phone, find the headphone and make sure that the Absolute Volume feature is switched on for it. Great Fit, Great Sound, Great Battery
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love all things related to earbuds and headphones, and I typically rotate between different brands and styles. I’ve always wanted to try Shokz products because I have friends who have used them for running and cycling. The idea of staying aware of my surroundings while listening to audio is appealing to me. Even with my other earbuds and headphones, I usually keep transparency mode on so I can hear what's going on around me. So, when I had the opportunity to try the Shokz OpenFit 2 earbuds, I knew I had to give them a go. I’m genuinely impressed with them. The last time I tried ‘open’ concept earbuds was with the latest and an older model from Bose. I can honestly say that these Shokz earbuds are on par with, if not slightly better than, those models. The comfort is outstanding. I’ve been using these earbuds consistently for the past week, leaving them on for hours without even noticing. As someone who wears glasses, I was initially worried that the part that loops around the ear might pinch, but it was never an issue. In fact, over the holiday break, I put them on one morning around 8:30 AM and took them off around 1 PM, and during that entire time, I felt no ear fatigue or discomfort. Another point I love is the incredible battery life. During my lengthy listening session from 8:30 AM to 1 PM, the battery still had 60% left when I took them off. You could easily use these all day, thanks to the battery life and comfortable fit. I use these earbuds for all kinds of media—music, podcasts, audiobooks, videos, and movies—and everything sounds fantastic. The bass is nice and punchy, although not as pronounced as some in-ear models, but much better than I expected. The highs and mids are clear and crisp. While watching a few shows, I even had to pause the video at times because I thought the sounds were coming from around me, but it was actually from the OpenFit 2. With other ‘open’ type earbuds, I often need to crank up the volume, but not with these. I keep the volume between 30% and 50%, and everything sounds clear. I can still hear audiobooks clearly when I’m out and about. The controls are quite straightforward, with a button on each earbud. You can hold down the right one to increase volume and the left one to lower it. Play, pause, and skip controls are also included. I had some trouble getting the app to connect, which may need an update, but the instructions indicate that it will allow for control customization and multipairing in the future. For now, I can only connect to one device at a time and need to disconnect from one to connect to another. I’m hopeful that the app update will address this. I’ve also taken these on a couple of runs, and not once did I feel like I might lose them. With some of my other earbuds, I often fidget to make sure they don't slide out. During my runs, I cross wooden bridges and worry about them falling into the water, but these stay securely in place without any movement. There was no need to adjust them for the best sound or fit. They are both extremely comfortable and secure and again, regarding battery life, you can easily use these for extended training or long runs without fear of the battery running out. I absolutely love these Shokz earbuds. They've quickly become my go-to choice over my previously owned brands like Samsung, Apple, Bose, and Beats. They offer great comfort, long battery life, and impressive sound quality. I look forward to the app update for further customization and multipairing features. I cannot recommend these enough!

These are AMAZING! Favorite earbuds EVER!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Due to the nature of my ear structure, I cannot use traditional earbuds very effectively. No matter what brand, I've always had difficulty getting them to stay in my ears. Additionally, I've never been a fan of traditional designs because it reduces your ability to hear what's going on around you. For those reasons I've been a fan of the Shokz earbuds and headphones for years. Having tried A LOT of different brands and styles, nothing has come even remotely close to these for me. There is a ton to love about these. They are very light, very comfortable, sound reproduction is incredible, battery life is outstanding, the controls are easy to learn and use and the overall quality of these is top tier. I found myself wearing these comfortably for 4+ hours and they never fatigued my ears like traditional earbuds. I can't even explain how nice it is to not have to take out an earbud to hear someone talking to you. Setup is incredibly easy taking mere seconds on my phone. The sound reproduction is fantastic. If there's one thing that I've always felt was lacking with Shokz traditional bone conductive headphones, it's that bass was lacking and, overall, they don't get loud enough to drown out the outside world if it's loud. You can absolutely forget about those two issues with these. They are LOUD and the sound reproduction across the range is very, very good. Bass is probably still not quite on par with a traditional earbud, but I'd much rather give up that for the spatial awareness and comfort factor. The case and earbuds are by far my favorite form factor I've ever used. The earbuds lay flat in the case which makes the case itself very compact unlike other extremely bulky cases from other brands. The case is also very light so you can carry these around without them being a burden or taking up a ton of space. The battery life is incredible on these. I used them for an entire day (well over 14 hours) without them running out of battery. I wasn't using them the whole time, but I was using them fairly frequently for podcasts and some videos and a few calls and they just ran all day. It would be hard for me to overstate how much I like these. Now that I know these are an option, I will probably never go back to a traditional earbud ever again. Buy these! You absolutely WILL NOT regret it!

Almost Perfect Truly Wireless Open Headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Shokz OpenFit 2 headphones are unique in what they offer and a really great option for a lot of people. I’ll outline the pros and cons and what I liked most about headphones in this review. The Shokz don’t go into your ears as much as they rest on them. They are very comfortable, bass is well-defined, highs and mids are also good. There is no noise isolation, but when turned up more than halfway some softer outside noises are muffled, however something like a car horn or alarm will always break through. These headphones are great for people that want to be aware of their surroundings while also listening to your music or podcasts. The sound quality is a step above the bone conduction type of headphones that Shokz is known for, which is welcomed. Pros: Comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I forget I have them on Open-ear design allows you to hear your surroundings Really decent sound quality Long battery life Easy to use USB-C Charging Cons: Can be difficult to hear in noisier environments While the bass is there, it’s definitely not as good as earbuds No wireless charging Overall: The Shokz OpenFit 2 are an excellent choice for people looking for a pair of truly wireless earbuds that let you stay present and aware of the outside world. These are not for people that want the best sound quality, noise cancellation or a bunch of bells and whistles. Be aware of what you’re getting and set your expectations accordingly. These do what they promise very well, reliably pair with my phone and are so comfortable that I forget I’m wearing them.

Incredibly comfortable, lightweight + sounds great
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical about these headphones based on the design, but I love them! They are so lightweight that you may forget you're wearing them. The fit is comfortable, and they sound great. Battery life is very good, and the case has its own battery for many, many hours on a single charge. They charge fast, and I have zero complaints about battery life. Bluetooth is fantastic and reconnects instantly if the connection is lost. I did a bit of jogging while wearing them and had no trouble with the fit. They stayed on my ears without bouncing around, and I could easily hear traffic sounds over the headphone content. I mostly listen to audiobooks or podcasts, but I did listen to some music, and the headphone volume was full and satisfying. The case is slim, light, and easily fits into your pocket. Overall, I am thrilled with these headphones. They are perfect for wearing all day and have a long-lasting battery to match. They are highly recommended if you want to wear headphones while staying open and alert to your surroundings.

||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently got my hands on the Shokz OpenFit 2 Open-Ear True Wireless Earbuds, and they have completely transformed my listening experience! These earbuds are simply outstanding, earning every bit of a 10/10 rating. First off, the comfort level is remarkable. The open-ear design allows me to enjoy my music while still being aware of my surroundings, which is perfect for outdoor activities or commuting. I can wear them for hours without any discomfort—no more sore ears after long listening sessions! The sound quality is exceptional. The audio is crisp and clear, with a perfect balance of bass and treble. Whether I’m listening to podcasts, music, or taking calls, the clarity is impressive. I also appreciate the noise isolation that still lets me hear ambient sounds, making them ideal for exercising or walking in busy areas. Battery life is another highlight. I can easily get through an entire day of usage on a single charge, and the quick charging feature is a lifesaver. Just a short charging session provides hours of playback, which is incredibly convenient for someone always on the go. The connectivity is seamless. Pairing them with my devices was effortless, and they maintain a stable connection without any dropouts. Plus, the touch controls are intuitive and responsive, allowing me to manage calls and music with ease. Excellent open-ear buds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Shokz is known for making their bone conducting headsets, where sound literally goes through the side of your head and your brain hears it, without having to stick the headphones into your ear canal. The Shokz Openfit 2 are a little different than the norm for them. In this case, these are U-shaped, and loop over your ear, and the speaker portion actually “hovers” over top of your ear canal. They call these “Open-Ear” earbuds. The advantage being, that not having an ear bud actually inside your ear, you can still hear your music or calls, but also be able to hear what’s going on around you, making it much safer when you are walking or jogging or just at home. The OpenFit 2 buds come in a nice rechargeable case, which allows enough charges to get up to 48 total hours of use before the case needs to be recharged via the included (short) USB-C cord. The light on the front will be red until they’re fully charged. When you open the case, the buds go into Bluetooth pairing mode and you can pair them to your phone at that point, or, long press the front button to force it into connect mode if you have to. Mine paired to my iPhone immediately and so far, I haven’t had them lose their connection at all while using them. These are made of a rubbery-ish type material (silicone) that feels solid but is comfortable over the ear. You just loop them over your ears, and position the bud head over your ear canal area, but not within it. A combination of tapping or tap/hold on the buttons will allow you to pause, forward, or go to the next track of music you’re listening to. These small buttons on the side next to the speaker allow you to receive calls or hang up from a call when done as well. Pressing on the side of the buds and holding will activate voice assistant but you need to activate that in the appropriate app. The speakers are on the same side (top when wearing) and the sound is much better than you’d expect given that they’re not in your ear, or their size. I think the sound is very rich and deep for what these are. Music and calls are clear. People on the other end of the call say I’m clear as well, and I only have to speak in a normal to slightly higher than normal tone for them to hear me. The Openfit 2s have enough water resistance so that your sweat or a light rain at least, should not be a problem. I wouldn’t suggest wearing them in the shower though, or heavy rain. When done, you just put them back in the case in a crisscross type way, and they start to charge automatically. A few minutes charge will get you over an hour of use if you need to just top them off. Wearing them for a few hours straight really isn’t uncomfortable. After a while I know they’re there, but nothing bad. I have always liked the ear gear from Shokz in the past, and this newer hovering type of bud is as good as their bone conduction models, to me. Being able to listen to your music but still be able to know what’s going on around you is very convenient and safer than sticking traditional buds into your ear (and cleaner to not have to do that). I give these a definite A+.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones have quickly become my go-to pair of everyday earbuds. They’re really lightweight and have worn them for long periods without feeling any discomfort. Even with the open-ear design, the sound quality is impressively full and clear, with balanced audio that works well for music, podcasts, and calls alike. What I love most is being able to stay aware of my surroundings without sacrificing listening quality. Whether I’m walking outside, working out, or just moving around the house, it feels safer and more natural than traditional in-ear buds. I also like that it can be connected to two devices and switch between them pretty seemlessly. If you want comfortable, great-sounding earbuds, but still be aware of your surroundings, the OpenFit 2 is an awesome choice. Highly recommend!

Quite possibly the best "open" earbuds out there
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having owned 3 different open style earbuds from top companies like Bose, Sony etc, these Shokz OpenFit 2 blows them all out of the water. Comfort, style and most of all, sound quality is excellent. Inside the box comes the carrying case with the buds, a USB C charging cable (you need to supply your own charger) and some paperwork. I plugged in my buds to charge before first use and took about 25 min before the light changed from orange to green. Pairing was as simple as can be. The first time you open the case, the inside light will flash indicating they are in pairing mode and ready to sync. I just opened my phone's Bluetooth settings and paired them instantly. Nothing else required. Comfort was spot on. They go around your ear lobe and since they are lightweight, there is no discomfort at all. The "speaker" is held in place by not only your ear itself but also the area right above the canal so it will blast whatever your listening to toward it. Normally with open ear buds, you can hear everything around you along with music but at the cost of bass quality to me. When I started playing my playlist and heard my tracks the 1st thing I did was literally scream, Yooooooooooo!. Highs and mids were fine but I was so surprised that BASS was actually really good and did NOT make my music sound flat at all. Sometimes I forgot I wasn't wearing in-ear buds they sounded so good. My co-worker told me she could hear my music at around 50%+ volume but not lower sitting roughly 7ft away. These are so great that I can not only hear my music and not disturb my coworkers but also still hearing everything happening around me. Phone calls were great as well. No complaints on either end when speaking or listening. Battery life has been excellent. I know that in an 8 hour shift with 1 hour letting these charge during lunch, they will last the whole workday. Charging is quick as well. If you need open ear style buds and to not rely on passthrough from closed buds, these are most definitely recommended.

I love this brand!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product! These are very light, they fit perfectly around my ear, the sound quality is great, I have not had any complaints from individuals while on a voice call. The app was easy to download, the settings was easy to maneuver through and the volume is pretty decent considering these don't go directly in your ear. I always have to remind everyone that these are not noise canceling headphones (when they're on my ear, they don't cancel out any noises around me) I can still hear everything!!! If you cannot focus with a lot of noise, these are not for you. As an adult, who has had an ear infection these are perfect. I don't want anything directly in my ear, I'm trying to avoid moisture, especially with me being extremely active. I also think this is a safer design to use in the vehicle while driving so you can still hear everything going on around you. You do have to be careful. I've had the right one fall out of my ear a few times and it's a matte black so once it falls, you need to pick it up immediately or you can lose it. Unlike Apple, the setting does not tell you your last location and you cannot put the headphones in lost mode however, if it still has battery life and you're within a certain range, you can play a sound from the app and it will play on your earplugs so you can find it. I am happy with my purchase. I have purchased every one of their headphones. I have all of them and I love them.

Great sounding open-ear buds!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Shokz Open Fit 2 are a great open-ear bud, especially for those that have a hard time finding the right size fit, or that just want to hear the outside world with their music. The Shokz Open Fit 2 are made of good quality inside and out. Each bud is made of a soft rubber mixed with what feels like a glossy metal. They don’t weigh too much at all and are evenly balanced to rest right on your ear. It’s rare that I can find a set of earbuds that don’t leave my ears aching after wearing them for a while, which is why I’m extremely impressed with how comfortable they are after long hours of use. The charging case that the buds rest in is a little smaller than a hockey puck, and they fit nicely and snug inside the case. The battery life on the buds is amazing! So far, I was able to listen to them for over 3 hours straight and I still had battery life left. The case itself can be charged with the included USB-C cable, which doesn’t take that long to charge fully. As for as the sound quality goes, this is where the Open Fit 2’s really shine! I couldn’t believe how rich and clear my music sounded through these, but my biggest surprise was how well the bass performed especially without them being outside my ear canal. The sound quality on these is very impressive, these offer great details in highs and mids, all while allowing you to still hear the outside world around you. I was skeptical at how the open ear tech would work in loud environments, so I took these to a loud construction site to see if I would still be able to hear music… I was amazed that not only could I hear them, but they sounded extremely clear. I even tried using these on phone calls, and they work great. I was able to hear the caller very loud and clear and vice versa. Overall, I am very impressed with The Shokz Open Fit 2 ear buds. I believe they are a great innovation in open earbuds. They’re extremely comfortable to wear, even for long periods of time, they sound really good, especially for being open earbuds. I would highly recommend these to anyone who needs to hear the outside world while also listening to music.
