Amazing Earbuds For Specific Use Cases!

If you're someone who gets sore ears from earbuds or needs to stay aware of your surroundings while still enjoying your music, the Shokz OpenFit 2 is a solid choice. These are open-ear headphones, so they don’t seal you off from the world. That means no noise cancellation here, but I guess that's the trade-off!
For something that doesn’t actually sit inside your ear, the sound quality is pretty impressive. I’m not much into bass-heavy genres like hip-hop, but I found the bass really good. What really stood out to me was the clarity of vocals and how easy it was to pick out individual instruments. It’s rare to find good bass without it drowning out the details, and Shokz seems to have nailed that balance.
That said, the midrange can feel a bit thin. There’s not a ton of richness to the sound, so if you’re an audiophile looking for warm, lush tones, these might not be your go-to. But for the use case—staying aware of your surroundings while enjoying music—they’re excellent.
These have been great for the office. I can listen to music but still hear coworkers chatting in the cubicle next to me—perfect if they’re gossiping about me! On the flip side, these aren’t the headphones I’d grab for mowing the lawn or sitting on a noisy plane, since they won’t block out background sounds.
One surprising bonus? I’ve started wearing one earbud to bed. With the open-ear design, I can listen to something soothing like Calm without waking up with the ear pain I usually get from traditional earbuds. Plus, my wife gets to enjoy her 145th re-watch of Harry Potter without us battling over volume levels.
The Shokz OpenFit 2 isn’t for everyone, but if you’re looking for a comfortable, open-ear option with impressive sound quality (considering the design), they’re worth a try. Just know their limits—these aren’t for blocking out the world, but they excel at keeping you comfortable and aware in your surroundings.

Great battery life, but not perfect

I use wireless earphones more than almost any other device I own since I wear and use them all day at work as a delivery driver. As such, I have over the years landed on several preferences. Unfortunately, nothing I have ever used quite checks off all the boxes I would prefer, and they usually trade blows with each other. I have spent the last two years using AirPods Pro and transitioned to trying out the new Shokz OpenFit 2 for the past week. They have a different use case compared to the AirPods even though they are both types of fully wireless earbuds. I have used older Shokz earphones before, back when they were called AfterShokz. They have always had strengths in battery life and comfort, but usually lacked in sound quality and microphone quality. All those points remain relatively unchanged even now.
The OpenFit 2 have exceptional battery life, which make them fantastic for my 8-10 hour work days. I have used them during long 10+ hour peak season days, and they never gave me any indication that the batteries were getting low after that long of a time. As a result, I don’t have any idea how long they would last without a charge in the case, but all day long plus some is the answer at the moment and that is great. The case is lightweight and doesn’t take up more space than necessary, barely bigger than the AirPods case but weighs less. The case can recharge the Shokz enough for another 48 hours of battery life according to the manual, and itself is charged via a USB-C connection, no wireless charging unfortunately. In other words, battery life is king for these.
Comfort is another important function of my earphones as I use them for extended periods of time daily. I wear glasses and that has caused issues in the past with long term comfort for over the ear types of earbuds such as previous Shokz I have owned, but they have resolved that problem with a very slim wire and enough flexibility to keep out of the way of my glasses.
Sound quality is very good, but they are different than older Shokz as these are not the Bone Conduction design I have experienced before. They are conventional speakers that hover right over my ear canal. I do feel like this reduces the sound quality somewhat and makes it easier for them to get drowned out by outside noises of which there are many in my delivery truck. Each side has a touch sensitive pad that can be used to access the voice assistant of your choice, and one small multifunction button on the top side for pausing, playing, skipping tracks, answering or ending calls, and more. The small button works well, and the ear bud provides an additional sound effect to make it clear the button was pressed correctly. The Microphone is the biggest drawback for these as it has no noise cancellation and makes it much more difficult for others to hear me when I am running my delivery route. The open ear style also makes it difficult for me to hear a call if things get extra loud such as when I am driving at high speeds. For listening to tunes or podcasts, they do very well, and I have no complaints.
I think this type of ear bud has a distinct advantage if you need to be able to clearly hear everything around you while also listening to something while you work or exercise. They certainly won’t be for everyone, but the battery life makes a real serious argument for their usefulness as well. I like them a lot, but I have mixed feelings about whether they can truly replace my trusty AirPods.

The Only Earbuds I'll Ever Use!

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
When presented with the opportunity to use a set of "open air" earbuds for the first time, I was skeptical. Won't the earbuds allow too much noise in so I cannot hear the audio? Won't the bass response be terrible since there is no seal inside my ear canal? Won't everyone around me be able to hear what I'm listening to?
All these worries were completely unfounded and put to rest during the first time I wore the Shokz Open Fit 2 earbuds! They are small and lightweight. I think that's a general requirement for something you will have hanging on your earlobe. In fact, I find them so comfortable that I typically put them on in the morning when I leave for work and I do not take them off until I get home for the evening! I've never been able to do that with any other set of earbuds because they usually become uncomfortable after awhile. The open air design allows me to stay connected with my outside surroundings. So, if someone speaks to me, I know it! Being situationally aware is key, especially in a field service job like mine.
Don't worry about losing audio quality by choosing an open air set of earbuds like these! I was so impressed by the sound quality! Whether I was listening to music or focusing on a podcast, the audio was crisp and clear. The bass response was really great, even for not having an earbud jammed into my ear canal. The best part was, nobody around me could hear my earbuds, even at high volumes!
The battery life is great. After wearing them all day I typically have about 30% battery remaining. If that isn't enough, the carrrying case doubles as a charger. The charging case is handy in ensuring the earbuds stay charged up so I can grab them and go! My only complaint about the charging case, which is very minor, is that it could be constructed of a little higher quality material. It didn’t feel completely premium, however, it gets the job done. A lot of other brands of earbuds that I have used have cases that feel a bit more well made and premium. I can overlook this due to how awesome the earbuds perform!
These earbuds have trully changed how I listen to audio as I go about my day. The convenience of my ears not being obstructed while having superior audio quality and all day comfort are game changers! I haven't used any other earbuds since the day I pulled these out of the package!

My new go-to buds

These Shokz earbuds truly live up to their name, as I’m shocked at how incredible they are. As someone deeply invested in earbuds, I hadn’t heard of this brand before and initially set my expectations low. However, they’ve far exceeded any skepticism I had.
I’ve previously used a well-known brand of open-fit earbuds that I absolutely loved. But since getting these Shokz, I haven’t looked back. Their design is clever, they wrap around the ear with the speakers resting just above the ear canal and directing sound inward. This design ensures they stay firmly in place while keeping an open-ear feel.
The sound quality is exceptional, rivaling or even surpassing my other earbuds. The bass and treble are well balanced, and the clarity is amazing. The open design also eliminates ear fatigue, even after hours of use. They’re so comfortable that it’s easy to forget you’re wearing them.
The Bluetooth connectivity is fantastic. These earbuds connect faster than any device I’ve ever used. By the time I take them out of the case and bring them to my ears, they’re already paired with my phone. The earbuds can be placed into the charging case in any order, thanks to the smart crossover design.
One of the biggest surprises is the microphone quality. Everyone I’ve talked to on the phone reports my voice comes through loud and clear. However, these do pick up a fair amount of background noise, so they’re not ideal for calls in busy environments. My other open ear buds are virtually useless when talking on the phone.
The only minor drawback is the size of the carrying case. While still compact, it’s larger than expected and not particularly pocket-friendly.
In summary, I couldn’t be more pleased with these earbuds. They’ve become my new go-to buds, and I highly recommend them.

Great Earbuds For Sound & Situational Awareness

This is my review of the Shokz OpenFit 2 Earbuds upon which I rate at 5 out of 5 stars! Out of the box, the product comes with a User Guide, Technical Spec Booklet, USB-C to USB-C charging cord, and Charging Case. Please ensure you fully charge the earbuds and download the Shokz app. To use the device, simply remove each earbud from the charging case and slide the earbud hook around the backside of your ear and center the speaker over your ear canal. Turn on your smartphone Bluetooth as the earbuds will already be in paring mode and make your connection. This is is and now you are ready to go!
I love these earbuds as they are very comfortable. I'm always concerned with any earbud that hooks around your ears as I wear glasses. The fit is perfect and find no issues even after wearing for extended periods. These earbuds are great for those who don't like to have earbuds within their ear canal. To note, for this reason, these earbuds are NOT noise cancelling. These earbuds are designed for situational awareness so external environmental sounds will be heard. This is a great design for those who work in an office, run/walk, or ride a bike. I paired these earbuds with my music streaming app having an equalizer and was impressed with the immersive sound quality. As for using for a phone call, I found the sound to be very crisp and my caller found the voice quality to be very clear and crisp as well. Per the manufacturer these earbuds are to have 48-hours of battery life. When you are done using them, put them back in the charging case to get ready for their next use. I highly suggest these earbuds for anyone looking for light and comfortable earbuds with great sound and situational awareness. I hope you enjoyed reading my review and it helps in your purchasing decision.

I don’t want to call these “earbuds” since they don’t fit in the ear, but they are the easiest units to pair I’ve ever owned. Rather than fumbling with buttons on each unit while trying to connect to the phone, they pair by pressing one button on the case while charging. The case also has lights indicating if the case is charging or fully charged. The stated battery life is about 7 hours on a single charge and up to 28 with the case. Additionally, a 5-minute charge provides up to 1 hour of use. This device is an open-ear design that provides exceptional sound quality for phone calls and music. Shokz developed a technology called DirectPitch that makes the range of pitch from highs, and mids to bass clear. The open design works like a charm with no loss of clarity or volume. I can’t say enough about the level of comfort compared to other devices. These are by far the most comfortable, least conspicuous, and best-sounding units I’ve used. There is a physical button that controls music, calls, and volume, and touch controls are programable through the app. They charge via a standard USB-C cable.

I’ve been using the Shokz OpenFit 2 for a few weeks, and they’ve become my go-to earbuds for everything from long walks to late-night editing sessions. The open-ear design is super comfortable—I can wear them for hours without any pressure or fatigue, and it’s great to stay aware of my surroundings.
Sound quality really surprised me: vocals are crisp, bass is punchy without being overwhelming, and phone calls come through loud and clear. Bluetooth pairing is quick and rock-solid, and the battery life easily covers a full day of mixed use.
If you like the idea of wireless earbuds that let you hear your music and the world around you, these are an excellent choice.

The Shokz Open Fit 2 earbuds are absolutely amazing and fit perfectly. They come in a cute square case that can be easily stored anywhere, and they include a USB-C cable, although there is no wall adapter. Connecting these headphones to my device was super easy.
One of the features I love is that they wrap around your ear for a more secure fit and slightly cover your ear, rather than going all the way inside, which can cause discomfort after long periods of use or lead to them falling out. They are definitely great for outdoor activities, exercising, or just wearing them around the house. They are super lightweight that sometimes I would forget I had them on.
The sound quality is impressive—clear and crisp. These Shokz Open Fit are not touch-sensitive; instead, each bud has one button that allows you to control the volume, skip tracks, and pause playback. This feature is straightforward to use. The sound during calls was good and had no echo or static. I really enjoy these Open fit earbuds they are lightweight, they fit nice and soft around the ear, sound is great and most important is that they don’t fall out or cause any discomfort after a long period of use. I recommend these 100%!

A Balance of Sound, Comfort, and Awareness

A breakthrough addition to the market of open-ear headphones are the Shokz OpenFit 2 earbuds. They offer a unique mix of awareness of the surroundings, comfort, and musical quality. Designed for consumers who want to stay in touch to their surroundings while enjoying audio during their listening session, these earbuds offer a mesmerizing experience with very few concessions.
The OpenFit 2 earbuds have a design that is open-ear, lightweight, and equipped with flexible ear hooks that offer a secure and pleasant fit. The fact that they weigh only about 9 grams and are ergonomically designed to lay outside the ear canal without generating pressure or fatigue makes them an excellent choice for being worn for an extended period of time. For best comfort, however, additional modifications could be required for individuals who wear spectacles or have ears that are smaller. Once you get them correctly placed, you will forget you are wearing them as they are so light and discreet.
Shokz's DirectPitch technology marks a significant advance over their bone-conduction forebears in that it can generate clearly balanced sound.. In spite of the fact that the open-ear design results in a bass response that is not as deep as that of conventional in-ear headphones, the sound profile is nevertheless warm and completely genuine. These earphones are great for listening to music, podcasts, and audiobooks because the vocals and instruments sound very clear.
The open-ear design, on the other hand, has the intrinsic disadvantage of limiting bass performance and soundstage immersion when compared to closed earbuds or headphones that cover the entire ear. Even in extremely silent surroundings, there is a slight but detectable amount of noise leakage.
Features that are included in the OpenFit 2 earbuds are as follows: DualBoost Technology, which improves the dynamic audio performance of the device. Lifespan of the Battery Up to forty-eight hours while using the charging case and having the capacity to charge quickly. Multi-device pairing is made possible with Bluetooth 5.4, which guarantees consistent connectivity. Buttons that are physical Ensure that playback and calls may be easily controlled. A.I.-Powered Calling System The use of noise-cancelling microphones helps to improve the clarity of calls. Resistance to Water, IP55 Type For usage outside, it offers protection against perspiration and light rain.
Their versatility allows them to be used in a variety of contexts where situational awareness is important, such as jogging, trekking, or working in surroundings, the OpenFit 2 performs exceptionally well under pressure. These earbuds allow you to hear ambient sounds without sacrificing the quality of the music, which is useful whether you are jogging on busy streets or working in an office where you need to be aware to discussions on the other side of the room. They are also extremely portable and come with a charging case that is both strong and durable. However, due to the fact that they occasionally move or make noise from the wind, they might not be the best choice for high-impact activities such as intensive workouts or cycling at fast speeds. With that being said, Exceptional situational awareness, a balanced sound quality with EQ that can be customized, and a design that is both comfortable and lightweight, Long battery life combined with a rapid recharge time A sturdy construction that is resistant to water are all advantages.
Cons: - The bass performance is limited, The fit may require adjustments for some users, There is a possibility of wind noise during activities that take place outside.
Those individuals who place a higher value on comfort, situational awareness, and reasonable audio quality than they do on deep bass or immersive soundstage may find the Shokz OpenFit 2 earbuds to be an excellent opportunity. They are particularly useful in environments that need a strong connection to one's surroundings or in lifestyles that are physically demanding. Although they might not be able to take the place of high-end audiophile headphones or noise-cancelling versions for usage in the office for an entire day, they do provide a one-of-a-kind solution for certain requirements. Shokz continues to push the boundaries of open-ear audio technology with their forward-thinking designs and functionalities that require careful consideration.

Amazing pair of earbuds I was looking to simply replace my AirPods and stumbled upon a real gem of a company I’m astounded at the quality of these things for the price that I got them for compared to what I would’ve had to pay to match this with Bose is staggering the lightweight feel that makes me forget their on my ears to the fact that when my audio is paused it doesn’t matter cause I can hear just the same and it doesn’t hurt to wear after hours and they don’t lie about 11 hours on one charge these babies GO they charge to full within an hour and a half and the case barely drains battery per charge I absolutely am in love with the fact that they’ve completely replaced my pc headset I’ve gone from head pain and muffled audio from my Logitech headphone pads to great bass clear audio and seamless switching between my phone and computer I pause one thing and start another on my phone and don’t have to disconnect anything can go straight to watching on my phone after pausing on my other device these were worth the random purchase and I’m buying openswim pros with my next paycheck so I can shower with em

These earbuds are great. The buds go around the ear and the actual bud does not go in your ear. The earbuds feel secure and would not fall out while working out or going for a run. The setup was easy via Bluetooth on my phone. As for the sound, its loud enough but lacks a little on bass. The sound is still crisp and clear. Manufacturer states the battery can last upto 48 hours in one full charge. Charging is easy and fast with the usb-c charging port. Cable is included. The earbuds come with a case that's small and convenient. The earbuds have a one button system where you can press once to play and pause. Press multiple times to skip and replay. Since these earbuds are open ear, they do not have the ability to cancel out surrounding noise. These earbuds were designed that way for "situational awareness". I personally like that feature, noise cancellation can be scary. Overall, I would recommend them to anyone who likes to workout or like to run. These earbuds feel secure around the ears and are easy to use.

I’ve used a LOT of headphones—from over-ear to in-ear—but the Shokz OpenFit 2 absolutely blew me away.
Sound Quality: You’d think open-ear would mean weak bass or thin sound. Not here. The audio is shockingly rich and immersive while keeping your ears open to the world around you. It’s the perfect balance of safety and sound—whether I’m running outdoors, hitting the gym, or walking through the airport.
Comfort: I wore these for a full 4-hour flight and forgot they were on. ZERO ear fatigue. No pressure, no adjusting every 10 minutes. The flexible ear hook design is super secure—even during HIIT workouts or long-distance runs.
Mic Quality: Call clarity is crisp. I’ve taken work calls while jogging and never had someone say they couldn’t hear me. The noise reduction works surprisingly well even in wind or busy streets.
Battery Life: Easily gets me through a full day of training and travel. Plus, the charging case is compact and keeps them ready to go without hunting for a cable mid-day.
Final Thoughts: These are not just "running headphones." They’ve become my go-to daily earbuds. If you’re active, multitask a lot, or hate the pressure of in-ear buds, do yourself a favor and try the OpenFit 2 or the new model.

Full of Untapped & Untappable Potential
|

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
TLDR: Secure fit with open, clear sound. But, without a functioning app, hard to tell what their true potential is.
USE
The OpenFit2’s are very comfortable and fit securely. The Shokz’s are my most secure feeling earbuds to date. Buyers don’t have to spend the time fitting and interchanging tips trying to get the best, most comfortable and secure fit. The Fit2’s slide over the top of your ear and once adjusted, rest over the outside of the ear.
The springy, rubbery “hook” provides just enough tension on the earbuds to be secure without feeling uncomfortable. The Fit2’s are the most comfortable and secure feeling earbuds I’ve owned to date. Because the Fit2’s fit over the ear and not into the ear canal, they are extremely comfortable to use for long periods of time. There were times I forgot that I had them on. Shokz claims “all day comfort” and I believe them.
Because they OpenFit2’s rest on your ear, all that comfort is a double-edged sword. As comfortable and secure as I find them to be, the OpenFit2’s don’t have any form of noise cancellation (at least not yet from what I can tell). They allow ambient sound to come through unadulterated. That is where the double-edged sword comes in. Buyers are unable to isolate themselves from the world around them, if that is your thing. Again, double-edged. Great for outdoor activities in that you can still hear potential threats or problems, but not great if you want to tune out the rest of the world while wearing them around the office.
NEGATIVES
As these are a newly released product, the Shokz app does not yet work with the OpenFit2, whether it be on Android or iOS. Because of this, I am unable give a concise evaluation of the OpenFit2. There is no way to customize the EQ, no way to update firmware, etc. I think the OpenFit2’s have more to offer, but the lack of app support leaves a lot on the table and a great deal of untapped potential. Shokz has promised full app compatibility by the release date.
Phone calls too, are a mixed bag. Callers have commented on the clarity of speech, but I can’t necessarily say the same for their voices. Voices are clear, but because the Shokz don’t fully isolate the ear canal, I find breezes easily disrupt the clarity of the call. I’m sure that the OpenFit2’s will have some form of noise cancellation tech built-in, but I can’t tell for sure as the app does not work and as of now it is just raw audio, based on my usage.
Lastly, Shokz still relies on an old-fashioned warranty card. Lose the included warranty piece of paper and you lose your ability to utilize the manufacturer’s warranty if something were to happen. The app does not tie your earbuds to your account and that account to your warranty. You can’t register your earbuds and activate the manufacturer’s warranty within the app. ALL the other competitors do it better.
CONCLUSIONS
Battery life has been very good. I have gotten more than 5 hours on a charge with some to spare. A quick 5 minutes in the charger will give you up to an hour of playback, with up to 28 hours of playback with a fully charged case.
The Fit2’s are IP54 rated against sweat and moisture, ensuring a good workout won’t damage them.
Shokz makes bold claims in their materials about extreme bass, exceptional clarity, etc., but without a properly functioning app, those claims are impossible to test. Yes, the Shokz have paired without issue to my iPad and my Galaxy phone, but there are no customization options available. I can’t monitor charge levels, customize call parameters, or adjust playback EQ’s.
Because of this, the OpenFit2’s are merely average. Yes, they have extremely clear audio in the mid-range, however that audio quality falls off drastically in the lows and highs. I know this is mostly contributed to relying solely on the overly compressed Bluetooth protocol.
Honestly, in many ways they fall short of the competition. The lossy Bluetooth audio sounds mediocre and without a fully functioning app, I have found no way to test if they support LDAC or AptX. My Galaxy certainly shows they do not at this point. Maybe a firmware update will change that. Raw, Bluetooth music from either my iPad or Galaxy sounds just blah and uninspiring.
While call quality is great in most environments, call quality quickly deteriorates with the slightest bit of breeze. I don’t know if it is because I can’t turn on noise cancellation or that they don’t fully cover the ear, letting wind around the device. Either way, a breeze can render calls nearly unintelligible.
My opinion may change when the product is officially released and the app is updated, but as of now, I unfortunately must give it a NOT RECOMMENDED rating. There are just too many questions left unanswered at this point to give the OpenFit2’s any other rating.

Some people collect watches and like to wear different ones on different days... and I'm about at that point with headphones and earbuds. Is it a problem? Depends on how you look at it. The way I see it is that no matter the occasion for things to pump sound to my ears I will always have the right choice on hand. Enter these very interesting earbuds from Shokz. Heck, I dont' eve know if I should call them earbuds because they don't actually go *in* your ear. They go on it. (But not the way you're used to.) And they go kinda in it, yes. (But also not the way you're used to.) If you're reading this, I'll assume you've seen the pictures but if not that's the best way to understand exactly what they are. The question now is: why would you buy these over something more traditional?
Well, the easy answer to that one is comfort. You get none of the pressure in your ear canal from buds and none of the pressure on your head and cartilege from traditional headphones. I've never tried bone conduction phones, but I've used the Meta RayBans and a Meta Quest and maybe there's a comparison there, in that these kind of just position the sound to your ears without blocking any other sounds from coming in. (Which I'll get to shortly). What's kind of nice though is that you could have these on and most people would probably not even notice there's anything different about them just based on look. They're definitely more visibly similar to earbuds than say bone conduction headphones. They wrap around the ear itself and then the speakers kind of hover over the ear canal - and it's lovely. You can still feel air on your ears while wearing them. You can still hear other sounds, which has obvious benefits to anyone who runs or bikes in areas with car traffic. Or maybe you just want to be able to hear anyone who might talk to you while you're grocery shopping. Or you want a lightweight option for long work phone calls. If you think you *might* have a use case for this type of device, then you probably won't be disappointed. They do what they advertise! The part that touches the ear is soft and flexible. You could easily wear these for hours and not be fatigued!
And they sound good, so you'll want to! Very clear for podcasts and music. Maybe not the most bass heavy thing you've ever heard, but are you buying these for that?? There are tactile control buttons on the side for play/pause, etc. and they work great. There's no fumbling around with touch sensitivity. Phone calll quality got a thumbs up (though not as clear as the Meta RayBans) and yeah - they're just really pleasant to use for 80% of what I want to listen to them.
The only real knock here is that *because* they are so unique... it's taking some time to get used to them. Even just the fact that they're sort of over your ear, but not meant to go inside of them - I can't tell you how many times I've already instinctively tried to push them in further than I need to. Or try to get them to fit in a more snug manner. The other obvious downside is that noise cancellation obviously is not really in the cards here and, yeah, sometimes I just find myself forgetting about that and will try to do things like vacuum then suddenly wonder why I can't hear what I'm listening to.
So those are the trade offs. You get a nice sturdy case with charging built in and some really solid, unique headbuds (?) for a pretty decent price. Again, if you think you might like them the best way to know is to just try them. I'd love to see the sound quality get even better with the next iteration, but for now I'm pretty pleased overall.

Love these things, They have a great sound quality. I take them out of the case and they stay charged till i get back home from work. iwork in construction and if they get wet i just dry them off and i am good to go. If i do need to put them in the case for a charge, they charge very quickly. they are quite possibly the best i have ever had.

With my previous in the ear earbuds I mostly listen to podcasts, but I find myself using these as much for music - the occasional rock or classical music tracks while reading, and I've also begun using them with my TV while watching late at night while my partner sleeps. I've found these to be very comfortable. They produce good quality sound and the bluetooth seems to stay strong even when I occasionally venture into another room away from my phone. Very happy with my purchase.

I’ve been using the Shokz OpenFit 2 for several weeks now, and they have exceeded my expectations in every way. The open-ear design allows me to stay aware of my surroundings while enjoying my favorite music, making them perfect for outdoor activities like running and cycling.
The sound quality is impressive, with clear mids and highs, and an improved bass response compared to previous models. The DualBoost™ Technology enhances the audio experience, providing a richer and more dynamic sound.
Comfort-wise, the OpenFit 2 features lightweight titanium ear hooks that provide a secure and comfortable fit, even during extended use. The physical button controls are intuitive and responsive, allowing me to easily manage playback and calls without fumbling with touch-sensitive areas.
Battery life is another strong point, offering up to 11 hours of continuous playback on a single charge. The IP55 rating ensures resistance to sweat and light rain, adding to their durability for workouts and outdoor adventures.
Overall, the Shokz OpenFit 2 headphones are a fantastic choice for anyone seeking high-quality audio without compromising situational awareness. They strike an excellent balance between performance, comfort, and safety, making them a worthwhile investment for active individuals.

I am not a sound expert. I just wanted a pair of wireless earbuds that didn’t fit into my ear and were still small. These hook around your ear and rest over the ear opening. They feel great and are Light and comfortable. As for sound quality I am happy with them. I listen to Podcasts and stream music and audio books. Everything is clear and crisp. Battery life has been good. These have met all of my expectations.
