Customers recognize the OpenFit Air Open-Ear True Wireless Earbuds for their sound quality, comfortable fit, and lightweight design. Many appreciate the good battery life and acceptable bass for this style of earbud. However, some customers have noted that the volume could be higher and the touch controls can be a bit difficult to use.

Perfect for Running and Comfortable Listening

The Shokz OpenFit Air have now become my daily use headphones because of how many different scenarios I can use them with. I'm a long distance runner and finding the perfect balance between ambient sound, comfortability, and battery life in a pair of headphones has always been a difficult search that I can now happily say is over. These headphones don't sit directly inside the ear canal but hover over the ear canal to allow ambient noise to hear your surroundings which is great when running outdoors. I was a little bit skeptical on how they would sound but sound quality was impressive. The bass is lackluster and turning on the bass through the equalizer only diminished the sound quality so I keep it on default setting. Although they don't sit directly in the ear canal, I never had an issue with volume and clarity of the music or podcast I was listening to. There is a bit of sound bleed at high volumes but I also use these in an office setting to be able to hear when someone calls my name from across the office and they are perfect for privately listening to your tunes while still being alert to your coworkers. Since they don't sit in your ear canal, I never experienced fatigue in my ear from wearing them for long periods of time. They are some of the most comfortable pair of headphones that I have ever owned. I also never once felt like they were going to fall off or felt the need to readjust them on my runs. One downside of the headphones is that the touch controls for playing/pausing, skipping tracks, and adjusting volume takes a little getting use to as there is more force required to activate it than I was use to with my other pair of headphones. On another positive note, these headphones can be connected to 2 devices at the same time which works perfectly for me since I use 2 phones, 1 for work and 1 for personal use. I can be listening to my tunes from my personal phone and get a work call that I can answer through my headphones and reconnect my tunes once I'm done with my conversation. Overall, these have been the best pair of headphones I have owned for running that have the added benefit of also being great for the office. I look forward to many miles with these.

I purchased Shokz OpenFit earbuds and could not be more disappointed. They are defective in that they continually need charged since they regularly connect to my devices even while in the closed case. The real problem is not the defective product since this can be expected but rather the pathetic customer service provided by Shokz. After a very frustrating 5-month process, Shokz displayed a total inability to communicate and a complete lack of reliability with no resolution of my problem. Never again will I even consider a Shokz product and recommend the same to anyone considering a Shokz product. For what it's worth, I also highly recommend that Best Buy reconsider its business relationship with them due to the reputational risk.

They do not seat well in the charging case, therefore they don't disconnect or charge properly. You can't turn them off unless you place them in the case... Just right. Other than that the sound is OK, the comfort level is excellent. I would not recommend these at all.

These headphones have several innovative features. There are perfectly weighted and very comfortable. They stay in good position even during a cardio workout. The app is excellent and allows linking of two BT devices. The app you to switch devices in the app with visual feedback (rather thank starting and stoping a sound source hoping the preferred device will link). Not having a silicone bud to insert into your ear canal makes these usually comfortable and quick to place on your ears or remove. The sound is surprisingly good and there is significant but effective signal processing which make the quality similar to a perfectly positioned and inserted bud headphone. The case is excellent and the individual headphones are easy to place into the charging bay and stay in position (unlike other expensive brands which may be dead when you go to use the after storage. The case charges quickly via usb c and opens and closes easily. The case is smaller and flatter than major competitors and fits in a front or back pocket. The single and significant (depending on your use case) is the lack of passive external sound blocking and the therefore poor experience in loud environments. This is usually not a problem for loud music sources but if using for a phone call or movie - even on maximum volume the experience is frustrating.

I was suggested these by the instore rep and it is by far the worst purchase ive made. Battery life is unbelievably terrible, audio is aub par, the only saving grace was that these had ACN for the work environment. Would 10billion percent never recommend these ever. I would give zero stars if possible.
