They are for being active and working out and being able to hear your surroundings. They don’t have noise canceling and you’ll hear your surroundings. They don’t fall off and they can take the sweat.

I actually forgot I had them on. I liked that it didn't insert into my ear canal too. The sound of podcasts was good to listen. But I ended up returning them the next day because when make a call from inside my home my person said my voice shifted in & out sounding far away and then further away and was difficult to hear even though I was sitting on my couch not moving around at all.

I would say if you are planning to use while in urban areas with car and other noises I would go with closed ear buds.

Meant for like ultra quiet environments.
