Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the OpenFit Open-Ear True Wireless Earbuds for their good sound quality, comfortable fit, and impressive battery life. The lightweight design and presence of bass are also appreciated. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the volume being low, connectivity issues, and the sensitivity of the touch controls.

Not quite what I was hoping for. I currently own the OpenComm and OpenRun headsets and love them for their intended purpose. I have been looking for a set of open ear buds for a long time and was excited to try these. Fit is hard for me because I unfortunately have abnormally large ears. The early reviews I saw gave me hope, but I was disappointed. There is not enough give in the bands to allow them to sit over my canals, so sound quality is affected. If I hold them over my ears they sound amazing for what they are. The fitting however does not influence the rating I have given them. Poor touch controls, weak app and no multipoint are deal breakers. Multipoint is the biggest. I could deal if switching devices was a little easier, but I have to actually disconnect them from one device before I can connect to another. Not worth the hassle. Its disappointing to see another set of buds trying to command a premium price but not giving standard features. These are not $180 buds. Going back.

I see a lot of reviews saying the bass isnt that good or the headphones aren’t that loud. Don’t trust those reviews. Download the app on your phone and you can play with the EQ. They can get loud and they dont sound like blown speakers. I have these and the open run pros. Selling the pros and keeping these. I alos have powerbeats pros. These sound better and the microphone is incredible. People say I sound crystal clear on calls. Definitely recommend these!

Hi there- Shokz here. We're very sorry to hear this has been your experience. We highly recommend ensuring that the latest firmware version has been updated via the Shokz app for the best experience with your OpenFit. There is also a phone setting that may resolve the low volume issue. -On the iPhone, go to Settings > Sound & Haptics > Headphone Safety, make sure that the Reduce Loud Audio Feature is switched off as this will affect the volume of the headphone. -On an Android, go to the Bluetooth Settings on the phone, find the headphone and make sure that the Absolute Volume feature is switched on for it. If you decide these are not a good fit for you, we kindly ask that you reach out to BestBuy Customer Service directly to learn of their return policy. Thank you! AfterShokzCHT

Great sound, very comfortable. For complete wireless they last a long time. With music they last around 6 hours depending on if calls come in as well.

Love these headphones. Have been using their other products for years now and wasn't sure about these as the design is similar to other normal in ear ones so I was hesitant but as soon as I put them on and could still hear stuff around me I knew these would be the perfect new headphones to go cycling with and just use in all my random day to day things like talking in meetings via teams etc. Highly recommend these, maybe even a little more than their old connected design.

Love these but they have an issue... When I put them in the case, and verify the light shows green, and close the case, they don't always disconnect from my phone. It's an annoyance. Everything else about these (sound quality, speaker volume, mic quality) allow me to use them but that one hang up detracts from how good they are when my phone doesn't ring because they are still "connected".

I have been using the Shokz OpenRun Pros as my primary headphones for marathon training. They have been fantastic. My only concerns are that they are not portable, and I need to recharge them every 7-8 hours. I had hoped the OpenFit would solve those issues for me. They did, unfortunately they are far worse for running than the OpenRun Pros. I struggled to get a good fit. No matter how I placed them in my ears, they always felt like they were going to fall out (though they never did). I also had issues with the touch controls when working out. I had several experiences where I would touch them with sweat on my fingers, and the sweat would cause multiple touches to register on the headphones. I would recommend these as a good daily-use headphone. They are comfortable, portable, and have good sound-quality and battery life. However, if you want to run in them, I would recommend other Shokz products.

Though the sound quality of these are definitely better, what I hate most about these are the controls. They have a touch control essentially and I really wish they had a button because where they sit on the ear it's kind of annoying to tap or tap and hold to play and pause, skip tracks or adjust volume. They are definitely very light though, and I appreciate the two-year warranty and usbc input.

Needed to replace my Jaybird Vista 2’s that would no longer pair up to my iPhone. I needed headphones that are fully waterproof and wireless. These were pretty much the only option. They were easy to set up and have their own app to customize. The fit is pretty good and the sound quality is good as well. They have not fallen off when mountain biking and are holding up to the sweat ans moisture. Battery life could be a little bit better but they will definitely last a whole workout and then some. I think they’re a good choicd and would recommend them.

These headphones are quite interesting in a few ways. It’s a niche category to fall in where you wanna listen to music and still be aware of what’s going on around you, I would say it’s for The type of person that likes to use Lofi hip-hop beats to study to. The Headphones are great for adding background music to your day to day. You’re still totally capable of talking, working, getting chores done around the house. I will say it’s not for everyone, I wouldn’t recommend these headphones for anybody that wants to seriously enjoy their music, while the sound quality is still good, you are still prone to outside sound so It will drown out the sound of your music. They are a pretty secure fit on your ear, I did take a spill while skateboarding and they managed to stay on but it was quite difficult to hear my music while riding. Hands free is also not as nice or easy as one would want. There are touch controls on the headphones which offer Great features such as activating your smart assistant or controlling volume. But the headphones do not respond to smart assistant automations like “hey google” or “hey siri” the app is pretty friendly and useful I do enjoy have multiple devices paired to the headphones (even though you’re limited to 2) the option to customize the EQ is quite nice to have.

When I originally seen that these headphones at launched, I was very unsure of what to think. I was quickly proven wrong in regards to any concerns that I had after using these for about a week. They work better than expected, and are very comfortable to wear for a long period of time. Audio is clear and understandable for a large variety of different music, genres and podcasts. I am very excited to be able to use these more often at work as we are required to not have covered ears for safety reasons, and these are permitted due to the ear canal still being open.

I got these for my wife for a combination birthday and mother's day gift. She isn't able to wear earbuds as they cause pain inside her ear canal after about 20 minutes. These sit right on top of the ear canal and don't cause pain at all. She loves that you can hear what's going on around her, but still hear the music perfectly fine. They are super comfortable and she tends to forget that they are even there.
