These Shokz open fit open ear wireless earbuds are amazing. I was looking for an earbud that didn’t have to go in the ear and I didn’t really want the full over the ear either. I like to wear one bud at a time to give my ears a rest since I wear them all day long and I like an open ear to hear my surroundings. I originally tried the Bose ultra open ear that clipped on the ear but they made my ears very sore after only using them for 1 day. When I returned them, the customer rep recommended to try these and I’m so glad he did! They are soft and light and hang on the ear. I was skeptical that it would make my ear sore having to hang on the ear but the hook is a very flexible and soft silicone. I hardly feel them at all and sometimes I forget that I have them on. The best part is that they stay outside of the ear and the sound is still terrific! Nice base and full sound. I’m pretty picky when it comes to sound so I was pleasantly surprised at how well these sound. I wear them all day long for meetings and everyone says they can hear me very clearly and they sound very clear too. Music sounds amazing as well. I’m very happy with this purchase especially since these cost half the price as my original purchase. The case is a wired charge until fully charged but is then wireless and keeps the buds charged all day. I get many days before having to plug the case in again. Overall - great sound, very comfortable, very happy. Get them.

I wanted to give myself a good week or so before I wrote my review, making sure I had enough experience with these buds to properly word my thoughts and opinions.
I'd previously used the Shokz OpenRun Pro Premium bone conduction headphones. I wanted something that I could use at work to listen to my tunes but still be aware of my surroundings. My back is turned to everyone else in the office, and with my Galaxy Buds Pro (also a great set), I was not able to hear when someone approached me, even with the noise pass-thru enabled. The Shokz OpenRun solved this issue, but one aspect annoyed me... as a dude with long hair, the band that went around the back with the OpenRun annoyed me (as well as the lack of bass, but that's just a minor gripe).
So I decided to try these OpenFit Open-Ear buds... and my oh my what a fantastic difference they made!! They are not bone conduction like the OpenRun sets, but rather sit just inside your ear, still leaving the canal open so you can hear your surroundings. Of course at a higher volume, you'd be less likely to hear someone talking to you, but at lower volume, it's great for office use, which is exactly what I needed... and the audio quality is absolutely superb in my opinion. The bass is not super heavy but very clear and very noticeable. I listen to alot of Swedish heavy metal (oddly specific, I know!) and these buds are great for that!
My only concern was that they are VERY light, and at first, I was afraid that they might fall off the ear, but I have them a good test, and shook my head vigorously like a crazed dog experiencing Slayer for the first time (at least that's what I'm told by my wife that it looked like) and the buds stayed firmly in place!
Honestly, I couldn't be happier with this purchase, and would highly recommend to anyone who wants good quality clear audio while still being aware of their surroundings. Just don't tweak your neck headbanging too much to Slayer \m/

I was skeptical with the concept of open air headphones, but needed a change after dealing with fatigue from wearing in ear headphones for years. I was shocked with the sound quality, and most importantanly, absolute comfort. Sometimes I forget I'm wearing them and have them on all day. These headphones are a must for anyone needing a break from in ear buds but don't want to sacrifice sound.
Great Earbuds, but Pairing One Earbud Needs Improv

I’ve really enjoyed using the Shokz OpenFit Open-Ear Earbuds—the comfort, sound quality, and design are all fantastic. However, I recently lost one earbud and discovered that it’s not possible to pair just the remaining one to my phone. This has been frustrating, as I expected the ability to use a single earbud when needed.
What could be improved: It would be great if Shokz could add functionality to allow seamless single-earbud pairing, especially for situations where one is lost or if someone prefers mono listening.
Overall, these earbuds are great, but this limitation is something to consider if you’re prone to misplacing things.

Love these wireless earbuds for the sound and for how it fits nice on the ear - comfortable. It really stays in place during the hardest workout and especially, I'm a runner and it doesn't move. Love them!!

I cannot do the AirPods because they fall out of my ears. I love the neck bands but they are big and and bulky and friends think it will cause cancer and strangers would use it conversational piece. These little guys will stay on my ears while running, jumping, and doing sit-ups, (which the neckbands will always fall off.) Sound quality is great as they don't cover your ear canal. Claims to be noise cancellation, but does not work well on an airplane like the Bose QC variety. But outside of a plane, these are great. I can pause my music with a touch and have a normal conversation without taking them out and misplacing them.
Battery life is about 8 hours on each ear so both can last a whole day. I wish there would be a 15 minute warning when the battery is low. It only gives 5 seconds low battery warning and then shuts off. On a phone call, you need to be quick and switch earpieces or else it goes to the handset.

I like the fit and comfort and they work great for phone calls. Wish they sat a little closer on the ear. The music is not as loud as i would like because of how they sit. They are also very sensitive to the touch. Tends to hang up calls or change songs if i need to adjust them while in use.

If you have ever experienced "itchy" or irritated ears from airpods or other in-ear earbuds, these should be your next go to.
I have been more curious about the lastest technology coupled with tech that does not deteriorate out health. After wearing Airpods, Airpod Pro's and even over ear headphones, I am more than delighted to say these are my primary earbuds. Moreso, these are my earbuds of choice.
When do I wear them:
- Gym
- Walking/ running out doors
- Store runs
- Phone calls
- Working/ conference calls/ listening to music
They are sweat-resistant and fit comfortably (even for someone like myself with smaller ears). The battery lasts me about a 1-2 weeks with my using them for about 2-4 hours everyday, and they are helping me minimize/erase any future "hearing-related" health damage. If you are concerned about the quality of sound, there is an app that allows you to specialize your hearing experience. These headphones have given me a great experience overall, and I have tossed my airpods in a drawer for the past few months.

Pros:
1) Loved that I didn't have buds in my ears and I could hear the world around me;
2) They sound good, even with one bud in.
3) Better deal than Apple AirPods Pro (Even though you don't get the built-in functionality, etc.)
4) The case: solidly built, USB-C charging and you can get case covers on Amazon to protect it.
Cons:
1) Volume: You can only go so high with it because they're not 'in' your ears, which I get, but when you have to have the max volume to hear it, esp. in a louder environment, that's not ideal.
2) Touch controls: A bit finicky, but I never have good luck with those. I was suspicious of them but thought I'd try them anyway. I accidentally kept hitting the touch surface when I had to reposition the earbud. They're responsive, but I prefer actual buttons.
3) The case: Wireless charging would make it perfect. I understand it'd probably make the case bigger/heavier, but if you can manage it, it'd be great.
Overall, would recommend with the above caveats.

These are the best earbuds I've found (and I've tried several). The fit well on your ear, do not irritate, even after several hours of wear, and sound great!

I'm very happy with these earbuds. They sound good, are light weight, stay in place, and are comfortable. Battery life is fine. They are just what I was looking for. I had no problem with connecting to my phone while in the case as some reported. Good quality overall.

I got fed up with my ears getting sore from regular earbuds (I tried different brands and different silicone tip sizes) so I decided to try these.
And they have been GREAT. I can listen to music for hours and my ears feel fine! I love that I am also still able to be aware of my surroundings, too.
The sound quality is great for an ambient type "earbud" and the mic for phone calls picks up my voice just fine--I have heard no complaints from those I've called about clarity or volume.
Battery life lasts for longer than I anticipated which I am very pleased with. The bluetooth range is surprisingly long, too, before it disconnects from my phone.
Would highly recommend for people who get sore ears from earbuds (or even headphones!) and/or like to be aware of their surroundings!

These are phenomenal headphones when you want to remain aware of your surroundings. I use them all day every day at work and can still hear and communicate with my coworkers. The sound quality is great and the battery life has been a huge upgrade from my previous headphones. The fast charge feature is also great because I'll let them charge quickly on my lunch to get me through the rest of my day. Only issue I've had is the charging case can be temperamental at times because they're just contact points and the headphones might not be charged. I've had to play with it s couple times to get them to charge. Which again has a quick charge feature but still inconvenient

I have several Blue tooth earbuds always on the lookout for the perfect set and these shokz Openfit chech pretty much all the boxes for what they are designed for.
Very well made very good battery life and super comfortable! No multipoint connection but I never used that feature anyway.
For the way that I use them at work and around the house the battery lasts for me more than a day so I don't even take the case with me just charge them up at night when I'm done but I don't listen to music or videos all day either battery life may vary depending on how they are used I love the open run bone conduction shocks that I have but they're not as comfortable as these open fit earbuds highly recommend if you're used to bone conduction headphones for sure firstly I think they sound great maybe not quite as good as my Samsung buds pro 2 but you can't put these in the same class as in ear ear buds. To sum it up Glad I purchased these definitely have become my daily earbuds and I do wear them basically all day.

I’m going to give it 5 stars even tho it has some bad things going for it but the good takes it away I’ll start with I’m a delivery driver and the call quality and the music and for me is just the best so much better then the bone conduction it’s clear and loud and people can hear just as good even when it’s noisy outside and they don’t hurt my ears like the AirPods do when I wear them for hours … ok the bad the touch controls suck but I don’t really care I use my Apple Watch to change songs answer my phone calls don’t always have to pull out the phone other then that best things I have ever got to use while I work

I am very surprised how much I am enjoying these open ear buds. I have numerous higher end earbuds (Bose, Sony, Apple, and Jabra) and was not expecting these to sounds as good as they do. Sound quality is not at the level of closed buds - but for open buds, they exceeded my expectations. They are the most comfortable buds I have ever worn .... and for walking and riding my bike outdoors they allow me to be fully aware of my surroundings. Battery life is very good and the multi connection works well too. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to clearly hear one's surroundings while listening to music or podcasts.

These Shokz over-ears are awesome. I believe the design was meant for more comfort and awareness when out and about and this company has accomplished it perfectly! The sound is phenomenal, bass is there, and I like the fact that I can still hear the surroundings. The whole reason I purchased these were for my teenage daughter, who always seems to have earbuds or headphones on and my concern was for her safety when she is walking around not paying attention and the shockz product is perfect for this concern. If you need a set for a teenager like mine or looking for something as a runner this is a great option.
