A big problem with in ear headphones is the fatigue you get after several hours of continues hours. This tends to drive people towards over ear headphone options. They, however, also present their own set of problems. For me, it was wearing them at work and while working out. At work I need to still be connected to the people around me when they ask me a question. That’s a problem for over ear headphones. Then for working out they just get way too hot. This is where these Shokz swoop in and solve a REAL problem. That’s what technology is supposed to do, solve our problems. I am very impressed by the comfort and audio quality of these headphones. The intention of these headphones are long sessions without fatigue. In my experience this has been excellent. The material on the arms is a nice smooth rubber material that feels great on your ear and skin. The weight of each headphone is light. This helps with making them great for long sessions. The technology that Shokz uses to accomplish direct sound into your ear without being inside your ear canal is pretty cool. It can be dead silent in a room, playing music pretty loud, and none of the people around you can hear any sound. It’s kind of like magic honestly. If you are concerned about sound leaking to those around you, don’t be, the tech works perfectly! I brought these as a gift. They are not made for everyone’s ear and I had to return them because they didn’t lay flat on the ear

Good headphones, I like the idea of them but they did not fit my ears well.

The battery on these never holds a charge, the touch commands do not respond properly. I am extremely disappointed in the quality when I spent a good amount for them.

Unfortunately, I did not like these. The touch feature to answer and hang up phone calls did not work well at all! In fact, I had to tap multiple times in order to get the feature to work. I do not feel that this should be an issue and needs to be resolved by the manufacturer.

Don't charge completely. Difficult to pair on blue tooth

The Shokz OpenFit Earbuds are excellent. The build quality of the earbuds is good. Like most earbuds, they come with a case that is used to store and charge the earbuds. They also come with a short USB cable to charge the case. Battery life is about 7 hours, and the case will charge them back up several times without having to be recharged. The case recharges quickly. There is a short 4-step user guide included, detailing how to pair, wear, and use the earbuds. There is also a Shokz app that can be installed to your phone that gives you the ability to update the firmware, change/adjust the sound EQ, customize the controls, and see the battery levels. I would highly recommend installing the app. The app is not mentioned in the included user guide. There is a QR code link to the app when you visit the link specified in the user guide. It would have been good if the QR code link to the app was included in the user guide. The OpenFit earbuds are lightweight and comfortable. The earbuds sound pretty good for an open-ear style earbud, and it was nice to be able to hear what was going around me during my afternoon bike rides. The controls are simple. You double tap or press-and-hold the buttons on the left or right earbuds to play/pause or skip music tracks. The controls are customizable in the app. Hopefully, single tap control will be added with a future firmware update. I would like to be able to use a single tap for play/pause and a double tap for skipping. Shokz has made a great set of earbuds with the Openfit earbuds. They are comfortable and sound quality is good. I highly recommend them if you are looking for quality set of open-ear headphones.

Although Shokz is known for their bone conduction products, I was pleased to see this true wireless option in the open air / ear hook variety. As someone who has always had issues having earbuds stay in my ears for more than 10 seconds before falling out, it's nice to see more of the market offering these secure options that will stay put. The material used for the ear hooks are soft and I had no issues of discomfort on my daily morning 45 minute elliptical sessions. During these sessions I listen to a combination of music and podcasts and found the sound quality good to very good for these purposes. Granted I'm in an environment where I'm somewhat in control of the external noise, I found that the open air gave just the right mix of sound quality and situational awareness. Since my main use case is these workout sessions, I have yet to stress the battery life as when I'm done exercising, they just go back into their case where they start charging again. I should be able to get more of a sense of battery life when I try them on my next flight. If I had to pick one thing that I'm not happy with I guess it would be the touch controls. Physical buttons would be preferable for these true wireless headphones, but that's a small bone to pick really.

Deffinatly confortable but noise cancelation is bad if you are riding a scooter and talking, person can hear the wind squirl baddly, and sometimes cant hear you at all. Its only good for listening music.

I went against reading the reviews that said music quality was bad and went ahead and purchased…. I shouldn’t of wasted the time talking was fine music couldnt go near half volume speakers sounded horrible. I went ahead and returned them.

Used once and they worked recharged and the right bud crackled and turned off. Reconnected and did all the recomended steps got it to work again for about 5 seconds then crackled and shut off again. Worst hesd phones ive ever purchased.

They connect even if theyre in the case and battery is constantly dead since they are always trying to connect. Return period on these is 15 days only so i couldnt return!

I had the opportunity to try these earbuds out and considering I live in NYC and sometimes you just want to hear what is around you I figured to try these out. I have ANC headphones that I also carry with me whenever I am on the train but sometimes you want to be alert to your surroundings. These are great because you can listen to your music but easily hear the world around you way better than any transparency mode other headphones can do since these buds don't go into your ear and is basically like a mini speaker laying on top of your ears. These also work with their app as well to change the EQ settings, update the firmware and can even change the functions of the hold press or double tap on the buds. They say they have around 7 hours of battery life for each charge plus 28 total with the carrying case. As far as sound goes these sound great I just wish it got a tad louder. These are also quite comfortable since you don't have anything going into your ears so you can easily wear them for long periods of time as well. Since these have the ear hooks as well you can work out with them as well and don't have to worry about losing them.

The prodact has BPA chemicals that caused cancer and birth defects so i don't recommended

They seem like a great idea, but I personally did not like that you have to stop your music when you take them out. Used with iPhone 14. Not for me.
