Hopeful but no
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a user of shokz for years. I have been using the openrun pro2. I love them. When these came out i decided to try them. I wear my head phones to the gym, on airplanes, and to talk on whole im traveling. The openrun pro2 have always been a little quiet and cant be used on a plane due to engine noise. I thought these would be better on a plane due to better aound direction into the ear. I wouldnt know. 11 days into daily use and the right one lost everything but treble and voice range. They are going back today.

Missd
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They are nice but, bulky more so than shokz 2, also could hear the wind noise while walking the track. Couldn’t wear them over 10 minutes of walking due to hurting and causing soreness on my ears!

Not worth the cost
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I honestly regret buying these Shokz OpenFit Pro. For a product that costs around $250, I expected reliability at the bare minimum—but that’s clearly too much to ask. The biggest issue? The left earbud is already malfunctioning. It randomly cuts out and sound is choppy for callers. For something this expensive, I shouldn’t have to troubleshoot, reset, or wonder if it’s a defect every time I use them. Feels like I paid premium money to be a beta tester. I purchased them 2/26/26, picked them up 3/3/26 and here it is 426/26 having to send them back for warranty. **Save your money or be ready to deal with headaches.**

Posted .Hello - Shokz here! We're sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your OpenFit Pro. We highly recommend ensuring that the latest firmware version has been updated. We then suggest a manual reset of the headphones. To reset the earbuds by placing both in the charging case and holding the case button for 15 seconds until the light flashes orange. Please clean the charging contacts on both the left bud and inside the case with a dry cotton swab to ensure proper power. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any questions. Thank you.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to return this item because I really didn’t like the sound quality which was supposed to be the equivalent of blocking ambient sounds; but in my opinion, it did not do that so great… as expected, thereturn process wise, very simple and not time-consuming an overall hassle free. Not Worth It
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.3, maybe 4, stars if they were half the price. The sound quality is flat, regardless of EQ settings. Inless ypure in a controlled environment with no wind whatsoever the lows are almost completely washed out. They are not shaped at all and constantly have to adjust the positioning because a) shape causes them to sit awkwardly on your tragus, and b) the clips are incredibly flimsy so the buds just constantly move. I got these because the Bose QCE were so bad that i sepre off Bose after being a long-time customer… these are worse and i wish i had returned them. Oh, and the “cudtomizable controls” aren’t customizable; you can turn their presets on or off, sometimes with ONE other option, thats it.

Posted .Hi there- Shokz here! We're very sorry to hear this has been your experience. The position and angle of your earbuds can affect the volume level. Please ensure that you’re wearing the earbuds correctly. When wearing OpenFit Pro, please make sure that the Shokz logo face outward. For a more secure fit, use the included support accessories and attach the ear hook as shown.
Enabling Noise Reduction reduces background noise, making the headphone audio clearer, while Dolby Audio enhances sound clarity and dynamic range. These two features help the audio stand out and feel louder, especially in noisy environments.
Turning Off the Volume Limit may also assist.
For iPhone: Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Headphone Safety, switch off the Reduce Loud Audio feature.
For Samsung: Go to Settings > Sounds and Vibration > Volume, click More, and turn off Media Volume Limit.
For other Android phones: Go to the Bluetooth Settings on the phone, find the headphones and make sure that the Absolute Volume feature is switched on for them.
Adjust EQ Settings
If the volume is still not loud enough, we suggest customizing the EQ settings in the Shokz App to enhance the volume of vocals or bass. We recommend selecting the Vocal mode or Bass mode to improve the listening experience. If you decide these are not a good fit for you, we kindly ask that you reach out to BestBuy Customer Service directly to learn of their return policy. Thank you!

Posted .Hi there- Shokz here! We're sorry to hear the OpenFit Pro was not a good fit for you. To deliver improved sound quality and more effective noise reduction, OpenFit Pro are designed with a slightly larger and sturdier build. As a result, they may feel a bit heavier compared to other models.
Overall, OpenFit Pro is better suited for users who prioritize higher sound quality, advanced audio technology, and noise reduction capabilities.
OpenFit 2 series is a better choice for users who value lighter weight, long-term wearing comfort, and cost-effectiveness. Please reach out to out Customer Happiness Team if you have any questions :) Thanks!

Posted .Hi there- Shokz here! We're very sorry to hear this has been your experience.
Correct positioning can significantly reduce pressure and improve overall comfort. When wearing OpenFit Pro, please make sure that the Shokz logo faces outward and rotate the earbuds until they sit securely and comfortably. Our OpenComm models may be a better fit for you, since you are using these for work meetings. They are much more light weight, and sit outside of the ear. If you decide these are not a good fit for you, we kindly ask that you reach out to BestBuy Customer Service directly to learn of their return policy. Thank you!
