The best open ear headphones I've used so far
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Shokz OneFit Pro are great sounding open ear headphones that use their proprietary DirectPitch technology that uses air conduction to direct sound into your ear canal without blocking it, allowing you to be fully aware of your surroundings, while having great sounding headphones. They have also added a cool little trick to these headphones, open ear noise reduction. To start, the OpenFit Pro's are extremely comfortable to wear. They hook over your ear to keep them in place, and I barely notice them when using them. They sound surprisingly good. Better than any other open ear headphones I've used, and better than some in ear earbuds. I've worn them for several hours listening to podcasts, music, and watching shows. Never did I feel any discomfort or fatigue on my ears. To be honest, I'm generally not a fan of open ear headphones. They usually sacrifice sound quality for being, well... open. This is the first pair of open ear headphones I've tried out that made my say, wow, I would consider using these on a daily basis other than going out for walks, exercising, or other activities that require noise awareness. As stated previously, they sound great. On top of that, they have an added feature called open ear noise reduction. At first, I was like yeah right... but then I activated it and was surprised how much of a difference it makes. It works very well in areas like a noisy cafeteria, where there is lots of chatter, it cut a lot of that out and allows you to hear just what your are listening to. It doesn't work well, or at all in noisy areas. For example, I work in an automotive production plant, and it is fairly noisy in there, It didn't make any difference, I could barely hear anything, so these would not be suitable for that environment. The Shokz app also gives you access to a lot of features, like sound effect settings like the EQ and Dolby Audio, and you can switch between Music and Movie Mode. You also get access to Noise Control, and can adjust how much or how little you want. You also get a Latency Optimization mode which I love, because I use these to watch TV at night, and I do not notice any lag with the voices or sound. You can also update your firmware via the app. The OpenFit Pro's are also multipoint capable, meaning they can be connected to two sources, like your phone and a TV. You can watch TV, and still be able to answer calls when they come in. The battery life is rated at up to 50 hours total, and the case is wireless charging capable. I do not see any mention of how long the headphones themselves last on a single charge, but after using them for hours on end, I haven't run into a situation where I was remotely close to needing to recharge them.

Great sound, design and comfort!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using Shokz's bone conduction headphones for quite some time now. They are my go to headphones for long days full of calls. But this is going to change with these new ear buds. I have used these for a week and I am simply a fan! Everything about these ear buds is great! Let me give you more details. Let's start with the case. I am not sure what is the case made of but it is quite light, the buds fit in the case without any efforts and it supports both USB-C as well as Qi Wireless charging. It looks very stylish too. There is a button in the case. To pair the buds you put them in the case and press this button for 2-3 seconds. The LED light at the front provides the case battery status. Now coming to the buds, they are light, sit well over the ears even while running on a treadmill at 6.5 mph. There is an extra pair of hooks like things that attach to the buds to give them extra stability. Obviously the open design is my favorite as it allows me to wear these for extended periods of time without any discomfort. There is a small button on each bud that provides the usual controls so that you don't need the phone. I like this better than other earbuds that have touch based controls as the button click is something that I can easily feel and control better than touch based controls. The sound quality is very good. Here are the features when it comes to audio (these can be customized using the app): Dolby Audio Music vs Movie Mode Noise reduction vs Open Mode Head tracking Standard Eq Modes (Vocal, Bass Boost, Treble Boost, Private and Custom) The app also allows: Customization of button controls Find My Buds Firmware Upgrades The app is well designed and easy to use. Overall, as you can probably guess, I really like these earbuds. I couldn't really find a single thing that I don't like about them! Give them a try, I think you would like them too!

Possibly the best active-wear earbuds I’ve used!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am beyond impressed with these OpenFit Pro earbuds from Shokz. Not only do they have form-factor defyingly good audio, but the just seem to stay on my head and keep the music pumping in situations where my Apple Airpods would have already fallen out of my heads and been rolling all over the filthy gym floor! The first thing I noticed about these OpenFit earbuds is that they just felt different in a positive way. Compared to over-the-ear headphones, I have no sense of claustrophobia while wearing these or troubles with my ears getting too hot (a common issue for those of Irish descent). Compared to in-ear earbuds, these just seem vastly more, as you would guess from their name, open, allowing in outside sounds and conversations and sensory inputs to keep you engaged in your surroundings while working out or just wlking around. The build quality and materials are excellent. Because of the form factor of these wireless earbuds, the case is naturally larger in size than comparative ear buds cases like for Airpods, but it still fits nicely into a jeans pocket or gym bag. Overall, I am so happy with these and glad to have them in my audio product rotation! 5 out of 5 stars easily!

Noise Cancellation Is Just The Beginning Here
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I slid on these Shokz OpenFit Pros (Pros), started some music and walked a few noisy blocks toward the running path. Immediately I started questioning my hearing because the city sounds, the car wooshes, the bus brake squeals, the jackhammers, were all vastly diminished. Open earbuds like the Pros are not supposed to be capable of squelching background noise. I knew “open ear noise reduction,” was a marquee feature of the Pros but I never thought it would be this effective. Even better the audio quality is vastly livelier than my OG OpenFits too. Suffice to say, I think these are winners for open earbud fans. Shokz fame is practically inventing bone conducting “fitness buds” that provide decent audio quality while preserving situational awareness. Things like being able to hear a biker’s bell or an overly motivated pup hauling its owner in pursuit of a squirrel. So, it’s reasonable to question why noise cancellation would be added to buds marketed to provide mindfulness of one’s surroundings as they exercise, a time when it’s all too easy to zone out. But the noise cancellation in the Pros is not the all-encompassing kind found in in-ear buds. Rather than turn off the world it just reduces the background noise volume to a more comfortable level, and it works fantastically. This is not just the best sounding Shokz ear bud I’ve ever heard, it’s competitive with premium in-ear bud too, and more comfortable. CHARGE CASE & BUDS I’ll get into specifics but first a quick introduction. The Pros ship in a sleek Qi wireless charge case. There’s a USB-C charge port too for flexibility (cable included). The case’s battery life is rated at 50-hours which is the equivalent to a roundtrip flight to Sydney Australia, not that you would use any open ear buds on a plane. A small LED at the front of the case alerts the user to the batteries approximate level. Battery level for the case and each bud is also available in the app, which I’ll discuss in depth shortly. The buds themselves pack plenty of power too. While they can handle 10+ hours playtime that’s way more time than I’d devote to any workout, running, or walking session. But I’ve been on 3+ hours walks and they just keep going playing music at 40% on my iPhone 17 Pro Max. The Pros lie neatly inside, secured by magnets so they don’t accidentally fall out when you open the case. Placing them back in the case, these same magnets provide a satisfying pull, snapping each bud back into its home. It’s a fuss and fumble free experience. Pulling a bud out of the case for the first time was a truly sensual experience, something I never thought I’d write about an ear bud. The Pros have a completely difference feel from my OG Open Fits which feel basic. So, on this alone they are a worthy upgrade. The ear hook is silky soft silicone that feels invisible when worn, and the dark gray speaker cover has a handsome, professional look. I’m embarrassed to say I can’t decide if the cover is aluminum or plastic. It’s that well done. The ear hook is both flexible and stiff and fits my Jumbo ears fine. Visually the Pros looks like they will provide an excellent fit on any shape ear. But if do feel some jiggling, or prefer a snug fit, a couple of thin, detachable silicone spacers are included. These snap on to the top of the ear hook A single button on each bud, where the earpiece meets the ear hook, controls playback functions. They are raised and easy to fine even when running at PR speeds. The downside of just a single button for all controls is that this requires multiple click combinations for most transport functions. For example, one click to play/pause, two clicks to skip a track, and so on. Multi-clicks or taps are par for buds and if they work immediately it’s fine. But I find the Pros have a small delay. A couple seconds or two can go between button press and actual skipping to the next song. FEATURES, FUNCTIONALITY, & THE APP Like all Bluetooth earbuds, the Pros pair to your device out of the box, no app needed. However, the full versatility and feature set is only available with the Shokz app (iOS & Android). Naturally, the app tries to get you to establish a Shokz account, but to Shokz’s credit, it’s not required. To avoid an account you will have to play a bit of “Where’s Waldo” to find the “skip” button in (if I recall correctly) the upper right corner. Some of the app’s features, like toggling between ambient and noise cancelling modes, are duplicated on the Pros themselves. But there are a few that are app only. These include firmware updates, multi-point pairing, turning on head tracking and Dolby Atmos optimization, 10-band equalizer and pre-sets, customizing what the Pro’s button taps do, and toggling whether to stop audio when the Pros are removed. Most of these features are self-evident so I won’t discuss them further but, where relevant, I will in the later sections. One disappointment with the app though is button customization. Rather allow any function to be assigned to a specific number of button presses, such as 1 tap on the left for “play/pause,” and 1 tap on the right for “next track,” and so on, it limits the user to just a couple options. For example, a single click can either play/pause or answer/hang up a call. The flexibility here is that you can have both sides do the same thing or set the left for one of these and the right for the other. That’s something but having unfettered customization would be amazing and more useful. AUDIO QUALITY The sound quality on these is unbelievably great, no hyperbole. Maybe Shokz have always sounded this great, and the external background noise was ruing the experience, but I don’t think so. These truly rival in-ear buds at this price level. The biggest differences are the noise cancellation isn’t as deep, and neither is the bass. But, unlike my OG OpenFit, these Pros has some life and a little boom. It’s not house party level so bass lovers don’t get too excited, but it’s still impressive and give me a second wind in the last mile I don’t want to run. Treble and mids are completely on-point. Both sung vocals and spoken word is crystal clear if the original recording was mastered as such. But even Bob Dylan and latter Leonard Cohen sound more discernable. But it’s more than that because these are the first Shokz product I’ve worn where songs have noticeable layering and separation. And that’s without any processing like Dolby or head tracking, features the Pros have but I don’t use when running. I don’t know what sorcery Shokz uses to make these Pros sound usable for casual use too, not just as fitness wear, but I’m fairly certain the noise cancellation plays a huge part. This feature and versatility is just another reason to consider the Pros as dual-purpose. As I mentioned, the noise cancellation in the Pros acts more like a smart noise filter than a wholesale noise stopper. When worn, I can’t hear the bus a block away, but I can hear a bike bell approaching. This not only makes listening to music more enjoyable, but it also allows me to play it at a lower volume compared to my OG OpenFits, which is healthier. I routinely had to crank my OG OpenFits to 70% just to hear them above the background noise. My Pros find home at 40-45%, which is about where I keep my in-ear buds. CALL QUALITY Using earbuds for calls is standard these days but I’ve never found any open ear style bud useful for this functionality, for obvious reason. Despite the Pro’s impressive open ear noise cancellation, it’s not enough to bridge the gap for phone calls. In a quiet room they are fine, but I can say that about ever pair of quality ear buds I’ve owned. Outside, unless used in a quiet place, they make for an uncomfortable call at best. The noise cancellation just isn’t strong enough to keep surrounding noise from being a distraction. Many conversations taking place in a city park setting were hard to hear even at top volume. The other end of the call also complained of excessive background noise too. In sum, this feature is handy for a quick call but avoid for professional chats, unless you need an excuse to end fast. Where the Pros do compete with same price tier in-ear buds for music and podcast playback, they don’t with phone calls. While I’d be ecstatic if the call quality was tops, or even middling, the reality is Shokz true niche is as fitness wear. I have other ear buds and headphones, but I wear Shokz when running because they are comfortable and keep me audibly aware of potential hazards. When I’m on a run I’m unlikely to pick up a call except in an emergency or maybe to order food on the way home. Call quality isn’t something I can get worked up about with the Pros. BOTTOMLINE The Pros are the best sounding Shokz I’ve ever heard. Thanks to its impressive open ear noise cancellation gone are the days when I need to crank my Shokz to hear them in noisy areas. And even a lower volume they sound clearer and more energetic than my OG OpenFits, and even close to some of my in-ear buds. They are simply a pleasure to wear when running. For casual wearers not keen to in-ear buds these may check the box for you too.

Posted .Hi there- Shokz here! We're sorry to hear you were not completely satisfied with the fit of your OPenFit Pro. Overall, OpenFit Pro is better suited for users who prioritize higher sound quality, advanced audio technology, and noise reduction capabilities.
OpenFit 2 series is a better choice for users who value lighter weight, long-term wearing comfort, and cost-effectiveness.

Open-Ear Audio Done Right!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the SHOKZ OpenFit Pro open-ear true wireless earbuds for about a week now, and holy cow, what an experience. I have used other open-ear earbuds before, but these take the cake. Right out of the box, the sound felt right. It was almost like having traditional earbuds in. The lows were deep and solid, the mids flowed nicely, and the highs were crisp and clear. I love the open-ear style because it feels far more immersive to me, and these absolutely deliver. Pairing was instant with zero Bluetooth issues. Even though they sounded great out of the box, I downloaded the app and was blown away by how much customization is available. There are several EQ presets to choose from, including Standard, Vocal, Bass Boost, Treble Boost, Private, and Custom. Bass Boost ended up being my sweet spot. The Private mode is also very cool, as it reduces audio leakage even though these already do a great job keeping sound directed toward the listener. I was pleasantly surprised to see both Transparency Mode and Noise Reduction Mode included. The noise reduction can be set to Reduce, Default, or Enhance. Even with an open-ear design, the noise reduction works surprisingly well. One standout feature is Dolby Atmos, which sounds fantastic. Even better is the Head Tracking mode. It takes about ten seconds to set up, and once enabled, it feels like the music is locked in a stationary position while your head moves around it. It genuinely feels like being at a concert with directional speakers. Pro tip: try listening to your favorite music while slowly spinning around in an office chair. It is mind-blowing. The control customization is another huge win. Each earbud has a button that can be programmed for single click, double click, triple click, press and hold, or single click plus long press. That is a ton of flexibility. Fit has been perfect for me. No wiggle and no risk of them falling out, even when shaking my head and trying to make them move. There is a silicone adapter included for a tighter fit if needed, but I did not need to use it. The charging case is excellent. I love the flat, smooth design. It is slightly larger in length and width than some other earbud cases, but the slim profile makes it easy to slide into a pocket. The matte finish feels fantastic in the hands. The snap when closing the case is also not that loud, which is a win for me. Charging is supported via USB-C or wireless charging, which is a big plus. Overall, I am extremely impressed with everything these earbuds offer. Sound quality, customization, comfort, and build quality are all top-tier. These are now my go-to versatile earbuds. They are perfect for running when you need awareness, working in the office, commuting, grocery shopping, traveling through airports, or relaxing at home while listening to lo-fi hip hop as I write this review. Shokz absolutely nailed it with the OpenFit Pro. I am blown away by these earbuds and would recommend them to literally anyone.

I Love Them!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a little skeptical about these earbuds but I wanted some that don't go inside the ear because I've been experimenting ringing in my ears and I read in ear buds can contribute to that. I did research between these and Raycon but decided on these. WOW! I can hear everything around me but the sound of what I'm listening to is excellent! Also, they are so comfortable, I forget im wearing them, almost daily.

Incredible Open-Ear Buds
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had these for about 5 months now and I can say they're the earbuds I reach for the most. I've had 3 different pairs of the Shokz OpenFit lineup and can say that the OpenFit Pros truly outshine previous models in all but one area. - Audio quality is a step above their previous models and brings it very close to the sound quality you would get with in-ear options. The improvement to the highs and lows when compared to the OpenFit or OpenFit 2+ is definitely noticeable. - Mic Quality is stellar! I'm on a lot of calls, often for hours at a time talking with friends. I've asked a few to give me their opinion on which mic sounded the best when comapred to AirPod 4, AirPod Pro 3 and these - all of them said the OpenFit Pros sounded the best and it wasn't even close. - The noise reduction feature on these stunned me the most. I still can't wrap my head around how a pair of open-ear buds could possibly block out as much sound as these do. I've even worn them on a couple of flights and was able to enjoy my music or shows without it feeling overly muffled or drowned out by the sound of the engines and AC. - Battery life is amazing as well. I can easily wear them for 7+ hours without needing to put them in the case to charge. The only con I can truly give these headphones, when compared with the OpenFit and OpenFit 2+, is the size of the hook (specifically where it rests behind your ear). It's slightly larger than with previous models and after a few hours I noticed it started to bother me slightly, but not enough for me to feel the need to take the buds off. It could simply be me and my ears, but the OF and OF 2+ had a perfect fit that I could wear for half a day without ever physically noticing them on my ears. Minor gripe, but is something to be aware of.

Absolutely fantastic!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very skeptical of these items at first, but after testing it out, I thought I would give these a shot. Now after close to two months, I have no regret. I’m active and I generally run a lot along with doing some HIIT and other active workouts. These things stay on your ear and I don’t have to worry about it at all. Now for the folks who are audiophiles, you have to understand that you are trading some sound quality for better stability and comfort. These things are light on my ears and hover over the ear hole so I don’t get the soreness from wearing in-ear headphones after some time. The bass is decent and the noise cancellation is pretty decent despite it not being an in-ear headphone! It’s also nice that my situational awareness is great since I can hear my surroundings a lot better than my previous headphones! My only small gripe is the connectivity can be a bit finicky here and there but other than that, it does generally restore quickly and I can enjoy the music again.

Premium Sound and ANC from Open Ear Headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ll start by saying that I am a runner and I have been using Shokz products since they first came out and were called AfterShokz. They changed the game for me as far as listening to music while I run. I run 100+ miles per month plus log a few hundred miles per year in walks/hikes. Shokz offers the best combination of music (or spoken word) and safety for active people. They have gotten to the point where they are popular beyond use in activity though. People like Shokz for use at any time and the OpenFit Pro Earbuds will appeal to even more people. When I first got my Shokz OpenFit Pros I was blown away by the newest feature, ANC - active noise cancellation! I never thought this was even possible with open ear headphones and I had never even heard of the concept before. Now I do want to temper my enthusiasm with some reasonable expectations. These are still open earbuds so ANC will not be as effective as in-ear or over-ear headphones. What they do though is tone down the noise around you. I live right in the middle of downtown in a mid-sized city and I have used these on all my runs and walks for the past couple weeks. The OpenFit Pros reduce car (and other misc) noise by about 30-40% in my estimation. It is just enough to take the edge off the noise of traffic as I walk along the road, but I still am aware of cars coming and going. It really feels like the sweet spot between an “ambient mode” (which is microphones picking up surrounding sounds and playing them in your earbuds) and pure ANC -which could make you miss the sound of a car approaching altogether. The sound quality is really good for open ear earbuds. Certainly not what you get from Apple, Bose, or others, but these are much safer than the other brands. Each set of Shokz headphones I’ve had (and there have been at least 5-6), the sound has gotten better and better. These Pros replaced my OpenFit 2’s and I do think the sound quality is better in the Pro’s. The new Shokz have added some EQ modes. It’s not a full-on equalizer, but you can boost bass, treble, vocal, along with a few other options. They also added a slider for Dolby Atmos. Now I am not an audiophile but it does sound a bit more crisp. The app also includes options for multipoint bluetooth pairing, smart wear detection, find my earbuds, and settings to customize controls on the earbuds. There is even a slider to adjust the amount of noise cancellation. When I was using the OpenFit 2 I had an issue with the charging and the case, but the Pros have been perfect so far and the case seems like a higher quality and better design. I don’t anticipate any issues going forward with the Pros. I’d recommend these earbuds to anyone who wants to listen to some kind of audio playback while still being aware of their surroundings, someone who wants the best audio quality that open ear earbuds can offer. The OpenFit Pros really are in a class of their own. They offer both great sound and noise reduction.

Open Earbuds with BASS that rumbles!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love them! Extremely comfortable for all day use with no ear fatigue. And speaking of all day use, the battery lets you enjoy these earbuds all day long, it's almost impossible to fully drain them! The noise reduction can reduce the listening time, but I don't use it that much. But when I need it, it works incredibly great for an open ear design. I don't know how Shokz managed to do it, but you can definitely drown annoying noises like a/c, fans, etc. It's magic! Drowning those type of sounds, and still be able to hear people if they talk to you. You are completely aware of your surroundings. The sound quality is great! They even sound better than a lot of In-Ear earbuds. Bass, Mids and Highs sound rich and full. The bass is incredible, you can feel the vibration on your ears! I only with they had a Volume EQ (like Bose, and the new Galaxy Buds4 Pro) so you can feel and hear the same details at low volume levels. You have to raise the volume 30%-40% and above to feel that bass kicking in, but when it does, you will be amazed by that bass!! Don't expect audiophile sound, but definitely great sound, for open ear style. Phone calls are clear on both ends. If you are looking for Open Ear Earbuds, get them, you won't be disappointed!

Great Open Ear Earbuds
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds are excellent. We were looking for something that had ear clips, that didn't stick inside the ear canals, had good battery life, were built well, had good sound quality, easily connected to the phone or other devices. These pretty much checked off all of those things, or, as close as we found with every other item we checked out. First, The battery life is amazing! They last all day without having to be charged, and then they charge quickly. Second, the clips hold them in place well. They stay put through normal daily work and also through the gym workouts. The clips' coating is soft, but they're pretty solid without being painful. Third, the sound quality is pretty good. For an open ear device, the sound gets pretty loud and can be adjusted using the Shokz app. Fourth, they have physical buttons to do all the functions. We have other Shokz earbuds that utilize touch functions, and we preferred actual buttons for these ones. Fifth, Shokz offer pretty good customer support. They always have a 1 year warranty on their devices, and if anything goes wrong with their devices, we've always had good luck with them sending us replacements within that year. Overall, we recommend these. We tried a few others, including the Anker-branded ones, which are good if you're on a tighter budget, but they didn't compare to the Shokz overall quality of materials and technology.

Impressive Open=Ear Headphones!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve tried and reviewed many different types of headphones, and this is my first experience with Shokz, and I’m honestly very impressed. I wasn’t very familiar with the brand at first, so I did a bit of research and found that they’ve been around for several years and are especially well known for their open-ear, bone-conduction designs. As someone who enjoys running outdoors, these headphones are an excellent choice. The build quality is outstanding, they look and feel premium while remaining very lightweight. Once worn, you barely notice them, and they’re well constructed to withstand sweat and water without any issues. The charging case has a sleek, rounded design with an off-white and gold color combination that gives it a modern, elegant appearance. Removing the headphones from the case is effortless thanks to the magnetic design. The case supports wireless charging and can also be charged using the included USB-C cable. Battery life is another strong point. You can expect up to 50 hours of playback, or 24 hours with noise reduction enabled. The charging case provides an additional 12 hours, for a total of up to 64 hours with noise reduction turned off. Setup is quick and simple, just pair the headphones to your phone via Bluetooth and download the Shokz app. Through the app, you can update the firmware and customize various settings. When it comes to sound quality, these headphones truly impressed me. The audio is extremely clear with surprisingly deep bass for an open-ear design. The fact that they deliver such powerful sound while remaining open-ear is impressive. One of their biggest strengths is the ability to enjoy clear music while still being aware of your surroundings, without the outside noise overpowering the audio. Call quality is equally impressive as well. Voices come through clearly on both ends, making conversations easy and natural. They also support immersive audio features like Dolby Atmos, and the head-tracking technology really stood out. The way the sound shifts with your head movement is incredibly accurate and adds to the overall experience. Overall, the OpenFit Pro is one of the best open-ear headphones I’ve tried, no doubt. With premium build quality, ease of use, and excellent sound performance, they’re a fantastic option for active individuals who enjoy the outdoors while staying aware of their surroundings. In the box, you’ll find the headphones, charging case, USB-C charging cable, user manuals and warranty card.

No looking back!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I demoed these in the BB near me before purchasing - I was VERY surprised by the clarity and response. I'm a user who wants to hear the world around me (for the most part). These accomplish that. The NOISE REDUCTION is EXACTLY that. It reduces some of the wiry high end noise which in-turn enhances the sounds your actually listening to. Works very very well. I wear them for hours during the work day, ZERO FATIGUE - charge is great, included case fantastic. There is nothing to complain about here, only yell from the mountaintop that these maybe high priced, but certainly no more that those Apple products. I purchased the black pair, just my preference. Hope this helped you.

Great sound quality
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned these for 2 weeks. I got them in white so I can locate them in my bag quickly. They are very comfortable and fit better on my ears than the Shokz - OpenFit 2+, staying more secure on my ear. I only use these for weight lifting and while walking around in normal daily life. I have not gone on any lengthy runs with them. The noise reduction mode works quite well. They are open ear so obviously noise isn't eliminated, however I was at an indoor high school state meet and it was quite loud, but when noice cancelation was on the announcements as well as cheering were all brought to a muffle in the background. I like that it provides a button for controls. The battery life is great. I don't have continuous music or podcasts playing, but I can keep them on for hours without worrying about the charge. My only annoyance currently is that occasionally play back will pause. This happens even when head tracking is turned off. I have been looking into how to prevent this along with random beeps, which I have seem multiple articles highlight. If I can get these issues sorted, I would rate these 5 stars. They are a little pricey, but I would be more likely to use these over the OpenFit 2+.

All around, great!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these! I was immediately impressed. Tremendous sound, great volume, extremely comfortable fit, and long battery life make this an ideal earbud. For what it's worth they are also water resistant so if you're a heavy sweater they won't short out. I wasn't happy with my recently purchased Powerbeats Pro2 as the sound was too tinny with no base. But, I needed an over the ear fit as I'm a competitive runner. I listened to the Shokz at the urging of another in-store customer as he relies on the superior noise cancelling. Its the only earbud his employer allows him to wear. I highly recommend them!

Love these
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These may take a little time getting use to because they not going inside your actual ear canal but their totally worth it. These are great for workout sessions, walking sessions and work environments if you need to be aware your surroundings. Sometimes you cant even tell you have them on. The battery life is amazing. The app works great. The sound is really great for them not to actually be in your ear canal. Im a person that likes to be aware of my surroundings and these are perfect. Highly recommend

No better open earbuds than these right now
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love sound, bass, noise reduction. Best out there, even at full price. I own a number of open earbuds. I was searching for the perfect all-day wear buds. My criteria seemed simple, yet impossible. I wanted: comfort, full soundstage with bass, long battery life, and the ability to be aware of my surroundings outside and around the office throughout the day. I wasn't looking for noise reduction, because I didn't even consider it possible with this style of earbud, but these delivered the impossible. The comfort, bass, battery life, and noise reduction are nothing short of top tier. These are the ones to beat. To top it off, the build quality is in a league of its own, both for the earbuds AND the metallic, soft closing, wireless charging case. If you want the best, these are those.

Fantastic situational awareness and sound quality!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been impressed with these earbuds. The open-ear design is comfortable for extended wear and allows me to stay completely aware of my surroundings while working out at the gym. Despite the open design, the audio quality is clear, full, and handles calls perfectly. They stay securely in place and offer a great balance of premium sound and environmental safety.
