They're good.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They're mostly comfortable, the battery life is good so far and the sound is good. I think Bose's open earbuds sound better but these aren't as prone to falling of whilst working and they have a much better battery life which keeps them in use more often. My one gripe is that the app refuses to connect to them so I haven't been able to use all the features of the buds. I wish these companies would just put buttons on them so the features could be turned on without the app.

OpenFit Pro
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the open ear concept, and sound quality. The battery life has been superior compared to what I’ve used in the past. Only problem I’ve encountered is every now and then is connectivity gets lost for a second, but comes back to normal quickly.

Extremely comfortable and great sound quality.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Finally, open fit earbuds I don't have to insert into my ear canal! I will use regular earbuds, but if I can avoid them, I would (I have a condition that I would produce quite a bit of ear wax), however any other over the ear or bone conducting ones I have tried on the past, didn't have that good sound quality. Not these guys. The sound quality is amazing, clear and don't leak much outside for people to listen to what you are. They come in a nice charging/carrying case (which can be charged wirelessly or via type C USB cable). Pairing was super easy, just opened the case and they were in pairing mode and paired with my phone. Downloading their app is recommended as they issue firmware updates there (there was one) and also you can further customize them. You can see their battery levels in the app, turn on or off noise reduction mode (kind of ANC) and it does work well, it does reduce outside noisy, however it does introduce a little bit of white noise in its default setting (you can tune it). You can also turn on Dolby audio head tracking (I find this one good for movies or games, but don't like it for music). You can also change sound modes (there is a privacy one in case you want more privacy and no one listening in). You can fully control them with the app, however each one have a little button you click for quick commands (like turn on or off noise canceling, volume up and down, answer and hang up calls etc.). I do like they support multipoint pairing, so I can have them paired to my phone and also to my computer (which does have Bluetooth). If you misplace them, the app will also help you locate them and it has smart wear detection, they will enable once you put them on your ear. Ear fit is great and they go around your ear lobes and the flat part just rests on top of your ear canal. By default the fit was great for me, but YMMV and so they include a couple of comfy silicone inserts to make them tighter if they are too lose for you. Sound quality is great, clear and great for not being inside the ear canals. These are my new favorite ones and I use them all the time, no more putting stuff inside my ear canals and goodbye to ear wax on my earbuds!!

A little disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I cannot the Shokz Open Fit Pro around/on my ear. You have to have larger ears to keep the Bluetooth in place. I am disappointed that they fall off with any activities like walking, move my hair, or placing my glasses on. Other than the stated they would be great. The battery life is awesome up to twelve hours on one charge. The sound quality and noise reduction is also awesome. I just know I'm going to lose them if I do not figure out how to keep them in place. It's been 30 days wearing them and I cannot return.

Best open ear on the market.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are hands down the best open ear headphones I’ve owned. Battery life is great. I use throughout an entire work day without having to charge. Calls are decent and sound better than others I own. Mic quality is much better than the Bose ultra open, and the JVC nearphones. Sound quality wise it beats most other open style I own (JBL sound gear sense, the two I mentioned above, Shokz openswim pro, suunto’s attempt, JLab flex open, soundcore c40). The only drawback is I have a weirdly shaped right ear that is lower and as a result I have to position it just right or it slips. Noise reduction actually works ok for wha it is. It is not going to be as good as anc on over ears or in ears, but it helps a little in noisy environements. All in all, if these fit your ear they will be solid. Don’t expect to sound as good as the best in ear or over ears, but they are competitive with many headphones.

Insane feat of engineering!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the Shokz OpenFit Pro for a couple of weeks now and honestly they’ve surprised me. These things are so comfortable — I can wear them all day without that ear-fatigue you get with in-ear buds. The open-ear noise reduction really does make a noticeable difference in busy environments without blocking your surroundings completely, which is wild for this design, and people generally can’t hear what I’m listening to. I also dig how clear and natural calls sound thanks to the triple-mic setup. That said, they still can’t compete with true in-ear ANC for total isolation, and on calls in windy or loud places I do wish the voice isolation was a bit tighter. Music and podcasts sound full and balanced for open buds, but if you’re after deep, immersive bass you’ll know the trade-off here. Overall, though, they hit a great sweet spot of comfort, situational awareness, and better-than-expected sound.

Great sound/fit but noise reduction limited
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased mostly for working out at gym. In-ear earbuds always slowly slip out when sweaty and reduce the sound quality as it happens. Some (like Beats) have hooks or fins but sadly don't sound good enough imo (super picky about my music). After trying so many lately (Airpods pro 3, Bose, Beats, Soundcore, Earfun, Sony) I had settled on the Soundcore Sport X20 but even those did not stay secure enough during bench pressing and they lost sound quality while lying back. Recently upgraded to the Soundcore Aerofit 2 Pro and they are pretty amazing. Sound REALLY good and stay put! Was hoping for even a bit more incredible sound based on the reviews so I went with these, and while I have to agree the sound is pretty phenomenal...AND the fit is secure in the gym...the noise "reduction" is sadly not enough for the gym. The clanking, music, and other noises are way too audible even with the noise reduction on forcing me to turn up the music to dangerous levels. I REALLY wanted to love these, and in my house I thought for sure I'd found them, but at the gym they lost out to the $100 less Aerofit 2 Pros which have MUCH better noise cancelling and, for now, are the gym winners!! No qualms recommending these though if you don't need solid noise cancelling, as they are the most premium open style earbud I've ever heard!

Good sound and cofort
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked them very much. I had similar ones from Xiaomi but these are much better, much more comfortable, lighter. Specifically I like the button control so when I'm running it's really easy to pause music. Also when I take them off music pauses so some good features. The box is a little bit large but is rather slim so it fits easily in the pocket. Overall very good headphones

Deceptively good; Nearly in-canal quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are a very odd set of "earbuds". If you're anything more than a casual music listener who is well versed in the world of wireless earbuds, then go to a Best Buy and try them out. Upon first listen, once you activate the noise ***REDUCTION***, your mind may be blown. I know mine was. I was not expecting the kind of noise reduction this brought from an open-style earbud. I immediately bought a set. Here's where things get weird... You take them home, you get into listening to them more, and then a thought crawls in. "Why did I buy these, these sound just like other earbuds?" Instant buyer's remorse. I thought I was crazy, so I tried a different set of open-ear "earbuds", and then that's when it hit me. Oh my gosh. That's the point. The other open-style "earbuds" I tried sounded like utter garbage. Extremely muddy bass, low volume, mediocre clarity. It was honestly comparable to the dirty buds packed in with a cheap MP3 player from a decade ago. The fact that these sound like other [premium] earbuds is a FEATURE and an accomplishment. The bass sounds normal. It is present, it is clear, it is clean. The noise-reduction is about on par with in-ear (but not in-canal; there's a difference) earbuds like the Airpods or Galaxy Buds *NON* Pro. Mids, highs, all very clear. I regret doubting these, and I hate that it took having to listen to a different pair from a different brand to truly appreciate these. If you want peak sound quality in this style of bud, this is the only choice. My only gripe, because I have to include it, is the lack of codecs. These are on "Bluetooth 6.1" but lack key codecs that make that standard shine, such as LC3, or even some older, high-res codecs like LDAC. Not a deal-breaker by any means, but something to keep note for the gamers and true audiophiles out there.

Shokz knows what they are doing!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very impressed with these open ear earbuds. They have far exceeded my expectations regarding how an open ear earbud might sound. They sound fantastic (more than enough bass) and get plenty loud in my opinion. I am able to use these when I run or do any other type of workout. I could never stand the feeling or uncomfortable sound I got with in ear earbuds when running, and these eliminate all of those issues. Shokz has developed an excellent product. They perform as advertised. I am very satisfied with my investment and highly recommend these.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve owned shokz open run pro headphones and these are better, no they aren’t bone conducting but theu are pass through and they are so comfortable, i forhet theu are there! Audio is surprisingly good and the call audio is amazing on both ends. Build quality is second to none, and the wireless charging works better than my airpods pro’s. They are awesome, dont expect airpods quality audio, this isnt that, these are pass through headphones that you forget are there with long battery life.

Great headphones
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought these headphones were pretty great! The sound is great and they stay on nicely during workouts except when you’re doing bench press or leaning over to do back extensions etc. they fall away from the ear and the music stops. I have several earrings in different places on my ear so I wanted something that didn’t touch them because they get so tender. The main reason I ultimately decided to return them is because the piece that goes behind the ear was too big and hit into my earring and it hurt too bad to wear them for long. If you don’t have earrings though, then this wouldn’t be an issue! I would recommend them for the average customer.

Not perfect, but the best open ear choice
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are the best open ear headphones I've used! Multipoint works fine, and the sound is great; way better than you would expect for open ear. The noise cancellation isn't as effective as in your in ear options, but it takes away the annoying edge from persistent environmental sounds. Great for drowning out office equipment droning. It's just enough to help you forget co-workers are talking in the background. They are also extremely comfortable to wear. Being from a cold climate, this is the first pair of headphones I can wear under my stocking hat securely.
