As someone who's constantly juggling workouts, study sessions, meditation, yoga, and focused work hours, I've found the Shockz Wireless Bone Conduction Headphones to be an absolute game-changer. Ideal for Active Lifestyles: During workouts, these headphones stay firmly in place, providing a soundtrack to my routines without the annoyance of wires or earbuds that fall out. Their design seems to perfectly cater to movement, making them a reliable partner for any physical activity. Enhances Focus: While studying or working, these headphones have a unique way of blending into the background. I often forget I'm wearing them, especially when deeply engrossed in a task. This 'forget-they're-there' comfort is a testament to their lightweight and ergonomic design. Mindfulness and Flow: During meditation and yoga, the ability to hear ambient sounds while listening to calming music or guided sessions has significantly enhanced my practice. It's this balance of being connected to both the external environment and my audio choice that makes these headphones stand out. Sound Quality: Bone conduction technology offers a different kind of sound experience. While it might not match the deep bass and noise isolation of traditional over-ear headphones, it provides clear and consistent audio, perfect for the types of activities I'm engaged in. Battery Life and Durability: I've been impressed with the battery life, easily getting through multiple sessions without needing a recharge. They've also held up well against sweat and the general wear and tear of daily use. In conclusion, the Shockz Wireless Bone Conduction Headphones are a versatile, comfortable, and durable choice, especially for those who lead an active lifestyle or require an unobtrusive audio solution for focused work or relaxation practices.

Great sound quality (not the most bass) however, for not being inserted into, or covering your ear at all they sound great. 4 full days of use at work with mixed music and media streaming and they’re still at 20%. For 80 dollars these are fantastic. Only caveat is they sit a bit weird on the head for longer haired folks like me. Livable, especially for the price. I highly recommend these to those who are looking for something different or need to be able to hear their surroundings while also enjpying music!

I usually use ipods but when walking or working out they always seem to work there way out where i have to keep pushing them back into place. I was about to buy beats over the ear but decided to try these and they work perfect. I can listen to music, take calls and still hear what is going on around me without having to push anything in my ear. If you lay back on a pillow they do hit the back of the headset but when working out or at work they dont cause any issues not even when lifting using a bench. It just took a few tries to find that sweet spot especially after only using in the ear headsets previously. The sound quality is good but is different in terms of bass and being very loud when comparing to in ear headsets. The experience in listening is different but depends on your listening preferences. The controls are easy to use and locate when wearing the headset. Just remember you do not put them on top of your ear, the go over the ear and lay in front. Overall i am very happy with my purchase and have used them for over a month now daily. Great peoduct so far and excellent for quick charging and long battery life. Definitely worth trying out if you are interested and hate when ear buds fall out or stop you from hearing whats going on around you. Its nice to listen to music that no ine can hear and have a conversationnif someone walks up. Hope this helps!

AfterShokz - OpenMove Open-Ear Lifestyle Headphones These headphones are unique in that you don't insert them into your ear. Instead you place them outside of your ear. I found the sound was impressive. The closer the headphones are placed to the ear, the fuller the sound. They also work if you want to send or receive a phone call on your cell phone. The headphones connect via Bluetooth which was easy and quick to setup. Various sound adjustments can be made by tapping the earphone speaker. Detail is in the user guide. The comfort level is very good because you don't insert the headphones into your ear. Additionally, you can hear outside sounds if the headphones are not playing at a high volume. Overall, this is a good product. The price is reasonable and the sound is very good.

So far, so good with these headphones. They are lightweight, comfortable and fit easily around your neck. The sound quality is actually better than I thought it would be. Many of the reviews I read said the bass sound was very weak, but I have not found that to be true in my case. I do like the fact that you can still hear what’s going on around you, but it doesn’t interfere with your music. There are earplugs if you want to mute outside sounds more. I have used them at the gym and I have been totally satisfied with their overall performance.

With the world of zoom, I've been testing these for both conference calls and listening to music. For sound quality, these work great for conference calls as the mic is good and you can hear people talk. On the music side, I find the music washed out compared to traditional headphones that go in your ears. Pros Lightweight, easy to put on and off Nice carry bag Good mic for conference calls Cons Music sounds washed out especially at lower volume. Cannot just take one side out, need to take the whole thing off. Overall, I will use these for calls but not when listening to music. You get the added benefit that with these you can still hear when people come up to you unlike ones that are in your ear, but you don't have noise-canceling which is pretty standard. It was easy to connect to both Windows PC and iPhone. If you're looking for only music you should check out something else, but great to use if you do a lot of conference calling.

Buy these, if you need to be aware when you are outdoors. Shokz are the current best solution for outdoor awareness. You can pay more for other models but I found the OpenMove to be outstanding and unlike the more expensive models does not require a proprietary charger. As someone who is very active in the outdoors with walks, dog walks, and even jogging at times, I am a big believer in staying alert for cyclists, scooter-ists, and traffic. I have used a number of wireless earbuds on my walks in a variety of ways to stay alert. I have worn the one bud in one ear, worn the earbuds that do not seal in the ear, and used the transparency mode of earbuds that seal the ears. Each of these methods offered some effectiveness but had downsides. The one earbud made me feel like I was hearing limited on one side. The open earbuds were good (Jabra 45e) but with the sound right at the ear tended to overpower ambient surrounding sounds still. The Jabra 45e also tended to hurt my ear for some reason. I would rate the open ear buds the second best method still. Finally, I just don't find transparent method transparent enough and still find myself being surprised by people coming up on me. This brings me to the Shokz Open Move. I thought of the whole bone conduction technology as a gimmick. I also read of the poor sound quality so I never considered them. On a recent trip, I was in an airport and visited one of the headphone stores that had a display of the Shokz headphones to try. I tried them and to my surprise I really liked them. The airport with all of its crowd noise and announcements gave the perfect background to test the models. My ears were open and the music was clear and understandable, and frankly more than good enough. The vibrations were not annoying and the sound was clear. Shokz ran a sale shortly after I returned home and I picked up the basic model, the OpenMove on sale at BestBuy. I chose the OpenMove because bone conduction is not going to replace my Beats Fit Pro when I am seriously listening to music, so I did not need or expect audiophile music so did not see value in the upgrades. The second and truly just as big a reason, it charges by USB-C so no need for proprietary chargers. My OpenMove Shokz I use daily on my walks. The sound is fine for music and for podcasts or Sirius XM programming. I am the most aware of people, bikes, dogs, traffic, etc., than any other earbud solution. Here is the rationale for my score, 4 for sound quality because they do not seal the ears for immersion. But 5 for being open like I need when I am outdoors. 5 for Battery Life. I have never run out of battery after a week or so, I will charge them out of good habit. But I am usually out one to two hours a day although they might not be playing music or a podcast the whole time. 4 for connectivity. This is nuanced. The Shokz always connect immediately to my iPhone 13 Pro. I have never had an issue playing music or a podcast. What I have had is on a few incoming phone calls the call did not come through on the Shokz and instead answered on my phone. It has happened a few times and it has not dropped a call just shifted to the phone. Of all the different earbuds I have bought and tried, I now used these the most.

I was skeptical about how the sound quality would be for something like this, but I was pleasantly surprised that it is a lot better than what I expected it to be. As advertised, I'm able to listen to music or whatever is playing on my phone while still being able to be auditorily aware of what's going on in my immediate vicinity. Compared to other high end products, of course it won't be as good as far as sound quality goes, but it suits my purposes of listening on my phone while at the same time still able to pay attention to my surroundings. It is also unobtrusive, so much so that I often forget I'm wearing it. I haven't used it while at the gym or running yet, but by the looks of it, this will hold up to those activities with no issues. Connecting took a little more time than I cared for, but carefully reading the instructions (and watching the video tutorial) helped a lot. Overall, this is an excellent product and I wouldn't think twice of recommending it or buying it again should I need another.

This is the first set of bone conducting headphones I've purchased and they work extremely well for the price. I was honestly expecting bare bones functionality but I was surprised they actually have media controls built in and the battery life is amazing. I can basically keep them on all day without having to charge them in intervals. They're comfortable and easy to wear and almost forget you have them on. I've found myself using these more than my Google Pixels Buds Pro using those only when I need the noise cancellation. My only issue is they don't work as well in noisy environments but it should be fairly obvious why. As far as sound quality, I'm not an audiophile so I can't argue the sound quality is great but there's no perceivable crackling or noise in the audio to me and there's no apparent latency.

These are the best BT headphones! I purchased these because I have tried all kinds of BT headphones, both name brand and generic. I have issues with having to put the earpiece in my ear as they cause me pain and not being able to hear my surroundings. I don't have to put them in my ears but the rest on the very outside right before my ear canal. They are comfortable and easy to adjust because of my hair. I use them mainly for work and I'm on the phone majority of the day. I can carry on my calls and still be aware of my surroundings. No one can hear my conversations but me and I can use them all day and only charge them when I get home at night which is a plus to me where the average headphones last for 6 hrs. I love them because I don't have to leave them in or try to keep track of where they are and I don't miss anymore calls. You pair as any normal BT, so nothing new to you. These have really been a great investment.

I love these. After awhile of wearing regular earbuds my ears always end up hurting with these there is no pain and the sound is good while still being able to hear what is going on around me. The battery lasts a long time usually makes it though my 10 hr shift at work.

I purchased these because I liked the idea of not having to stick thins in my ear anymore. Overall Pros: - did not have to stick things in my ear anymore -the sound quality was great - The mic for the phone call was clear (it did have some level of noise cancelation that made it easier for whoever I was talking to to hear me and not pick up background noise to a good degree). - they were light - good battery life. - you can still hear things Cons: - It does not have adjustable straps, meaning that it will sit on your head as is. - After some time, the way it was conducting noise made me feel uncomfortable. Which contributed to my lower rating of the product.
