Love them
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these. After awhile of wearing regular earbuds my ears always end up hurting with these there is no pain and the sound is good while still being able to hear what is going on around me. The battery lasts a long time usually makes it though my 10 hr shift at work.

Good product, but not what I was looking for.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these because I liked the idea of not having to stick thins in my ear anymore. Overall Pros: - did not have to stick things in my ear anymore -the sound quality was great - The mic for the phone call was clear (it did have some level of noise cancelation that made it easier for whoever I was talking to to hear me and not pick up background noise to a good degree). - they were light - good battery life. - you can still hear things Cons: - It does not have adjustable straps, meaning that it will sit on your head as is. - After some time, the way it was conducting noise made me feel uncomfortable. Which contributed to my lower rating of the product.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good sound. Great battery life. A little buzzy at top volume. Very comfortable and easy to wear. The active voice is very quiet and hard to hear in a noisy environment.

Exceedingly Competent Niche Item
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not an audiophile or someone who can offer a lot of nuanced feedback, but here goes anyways. TLDR: This may be the product for you if you're a doer and you feel like you need to listen around you while you consume media. It may not be. I bought these on a whim because they seemed like an interesting product. Can't say after a few days' use that I feel too different about them. Price is good. This is what I assume to be the "beginner" version of the $130+ alternatives- which I do not have as a comparison- but for $80 (I snagged them for $60 on sale,) I think it's fine. Sound has a lot of words to be said. As several other reviews will tell you, there is very little bass in these; I'd argue that that's intended, or at least a required compromise for the time being until the technology develops further. I think they're good sound for being able to hear around you as well- which is what I was looking for-and for being $60, they are fine. I wouldn't recommend using them as studio headphones for video editing or music production- that should be obvious? Get some studio ANC headphones if that's what you need?- but for everyday listening, I think it's great. Comfort/Fit: An issue I've always had with my over-ears is that they slide off the front or the back of my head every once in a while. As for in-ears, they fall out. Plain and simple. This headset hasn't moved since I put it on eight hours ago. I haven't had to touch it with the exception of for volume adjustment. As far as comfort goes, it's acceptable. I can definitely tell that there's something there on my ears at all time, and when you're like me and just can't be asked to take it off for extremely long times (all morning, for example) it begins to ache, but more bearably than in-ears that never fit and after a longer time. If you're a normal person and only have it on for an hour or less (or thereabouts) at a time, you should see no problem provided your head is the right shape. Battery life is something to be commended- it's lasted all night and day playing music claiming it's been at "60%" for 14 hours. I'm assuming it's in increments of 20 or 30 on my phone (Moto G Play)- YMMV but I think this is a definite win. Solid 8/10, it feels like it isn't entirely at its peak yet while still being a more than just usable product. Note that if you play something loud enough it will annoyingly vibrate your head, but that is right about the time that people other that you can start to hear it, which is possibly the best way of saying "stop playing this so loud" I've ever seen. It came with earplugs, which I thought was hilarious- isn't the point for it to be open-ear?

Works GREAT for me!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have tiny ear canals... Apple ear-buds (all models) don't work too good for me. This Shokz works very well for me. Battery is long lasting. Quality of phone calls is GREAT! Easy charging. VERY COMFORTABLE. Have NOT used for music. Maybe TRY them, Best Buy has GREAT return policy.

Great Product
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my Shockz. They were recommended by a friend. I do wish I had got the Mini version based on how they fit my head. Overall, the sound is great, zero issues connecting, the volume buttons are easily accessible. And the best part, I can hear what's going on around me even my music is playing. Also doesn't take long to charge and lasts about 6hrs.

best product ever!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these things, awesome, sound great on radio and phone answering, pair super fast and last for all day at work, no problem, charge fast, and you can hear everything around you, unlike the "earbuds" that go in your ear, where you have to leave one out of one of your ears, if you are hesitating, stop and just "bite the bullet", fantastic and you will never regret the purchase. You can actually wear a convential "earbud" type headset with these and hear both perfectly, best invention since foreman grill, air fryer, and A/C! no kidding

Unless you must have USB-C, get the OpenRun
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There's one reason to get these: if you want bone conduction headphones and require a standardized usb-C charging port. I'll mimic what all the other reviews say: the technology works. It's hard for other people to hear what you're listening to and you can still hear everything around you (much better than the average earbud passthrough mode). At and above half volume, you'll likely feel some intense vibrations, but it's rare you'd need to turn it up that loud anyway. The bass is practically nonexistent, an unfortunate drawback of bone conduction (lower frequencies don't conduct as well as higher frequencies), but plugging your ears actually helps with that, should that be an acceptable option. All around, the OpenRun/Aeropex is a significantly better product in construction, comfort, runtime, and audio quality; but the use of a proprietary charging interface might be a deal breaker for some. Those people will find the Open move suitable enough. My one complaint was that, as a glasses wearer with a large head, the place the electronics box sits behind the ear pressed on my ear in such a way that was quite painful after extended use. This may not be an issue however for those with smaller heads or those who don't wear glasses.

A good choice is some circumstances.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I should start off by saying that I wear in-the-ear hearing aids. That means that I find myself using different headphones for different situations. I got the Shokz in hopes that it would be a good middle ground. - Over the hear headphones are fine for sitting and listening at home. But, for me, they are too cumbersome when exercising or traveling. - Ear buds are fine when I want isolation in public and do not need my hearing aids, eg. airplane. But that means switching them out as the situation changes. The Shokz work well when connected and can be set to connect to two devices at once. So I can be connected to my phone and computer without having to reconnect every time. They are fine when I'm out walking/jogging without the bulkiness of over the ear headphones. Unfortunately, if I use the Shokz while wearing my hearing aids, the audio sounds like I'm hearing it through water or a pillow. The audio is best when I remove my hearing aids, but that defeats the purpose. The strap around the back helps hold them in place. But when I lean back on a headrest, the headset gets moved out of place. As a result, I find myself using the Shokz only in specific circumstances. So for me, these are not as useful as I had hoped.

Best EarPods
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Shokz EarPods, previously known as AfterShokz, are renowned for their unique bone conduction technology. Instead of traditional earbuds that go inside or over your ears, Shokz EarPods rest on your cheekbones and send sound vibrations directly to your inner ear. This design allows you to stay aware of your surroundings, making them ideal for outdoor activities like running or cycling. They are lightweight, comfortable, and often come with a secure fit to ensure they stay in place during workouts. Additionally, they offer decent sound quality, though they might not match the bass and clarity of high-end in-ear or over-ear headphones. Overall, Shokz EarPods are a great choice for those who prioritize safety and comfort during physical activities.

Get them. You won’t regret it. Customer for life.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My favorite headphones ever. Great return policy with the manufacturer of defective within 2 years. Great phone audio sound. The mics do become wonky after a while, so register your warranty. These are great for people who: use hearing aids, or lose their Bluetooth headphones, or for folks with sensitive ears or don’t want the risk of plugging their ear canal or canceling ambient sound. They come with foam earplugs in case you do need to isolate the sound. You can buy similar earplugs for later use. When you use foam earplugs with them the sound is amazing. Bone conduction saves hearing and minimizes discomfort. I love how this company honors their warranty, great customer service and the product is of great quality and design. Oh, it also comes with a carry pouch. I’ve been using this brand since 2020 and was introduced to them by a hearing impaired hearing aid user.

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great heatset, doesnt get hot, comfortable. The base can be a bit much because of the vibration and i dont like how my beard hair gets caught when i shift it around. But it stays in place for my whole shift no matter what im doing, and i can still wear my safety gear. Highly recommend them

Good value.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far, these have been quite good. They deliver solid quality sound, without obstructing my ears. They do take a bit to get used to, because the bone conduction is a bit different to traditional earbuds, but if you need out-of-the-way comms with a call answer button you can push easily with gloves on, this is for you. Range is good, battery life appears to be as advertised after several months, I've worn these in all kinds of weather and they just work, they don't have the drawback of extra places to get moisture that ruins more traditional earbuds. Also, since they wrap around the head I don't have to worry about them falling out when I'm climbing poles or hiking through the woods or climbing through crawlspaces and the like. The only real drawback is that I can't connect two devices because it uses an older version of bluetooth.
