i wonder what those 5 star reviews cost but this effort is to protect other potential buyers from wasting money, time & effort: - they hurt after 20 mins, you could be lucky if it fits your head, but consider this risk - sound is terrible, barely hearing anything and i’vea slender face, imagine if you have fat: lees conduction - increasing volume for recognizable music or speech results in terrible ache due to vibrations - treble does not appear to conduct, neither bass - $80 is not worth the experiment, rather buy Bose or Beats who have their glitches but not nearly so terrible as this + battery is respectable: 10+ hours

clearly made for a bigger head, and also, you can't lean your head back, not in a vehicle, not in a recliner, not in bed. if you want to run around, these would be great. but back to the drawing board for me.

They’re good but I recommend you spend the extra 50 to get the open run premiums. These are made of plastic and aren’t very comfortable and form fitting like the premiums

    Poor everything

I never take the time to review items I have purchased, however I feel I really need to with this purchase. These headphones were nothing of what I expected, and I didn’t expect a whole lot at this price. I wanted to try these because I cannot stand to have earbuds as they make my ears very sore and irritated. The fit was terrible and the sound was like a cheap pair of $10 headphones. Even more, when I had music playing, other people could hear everything coming from these headphones. Privacy would be nice and these most definitely did not give me a second of privacy. I had my partner try them to, thinking maybe I was expecting too much. She confirmed I had every reason to be upset. Just poorly made headphones. I wish I could write something positive but it just wasn’t there for me.

Only buy if you never sweat

These head phones are susceptible to water intrusion through the charging port. There is a small silicon cover that breaks off easily. I have had two warranty replacements in the past year. The second time, Shokz had to be reminded after a week to send out a shipping label. Then they had to be reminded ten days later they had my headphones and needed to ship out a replacement. Their customer service, while always friendly, is unable to ship out product on a timely basis. I have been using Shokz since their first product but after the past few years with them, I have purchased my last.

    Faulty product and faulty company

These headphones completely stopped working after 9 months of use. I am OCD about my electronics, and follow every charging instruction to a T. I can’t understand how a product can be completely worthless in less than a year of use. What’s even worse is that the Shokz website is inoperable. There is no way for me to submit a warranty claim. I am hoping Best Buy will honor the warranty.

Beeping while muted on teams is super annoying

    Posted .

The best part of these is that they are pretty comfortable, and you can wear them and hear people and then jump on a call pretty seamlessly. The negatives are that the sound quality isn't great, and if you mute yourself on a TEAMS call (which I am on all day), it beeps every 5 seconds and is insanely distracting.

Had higher expectations, sadly they did pan out.

When I heard these were the best “conducting” headphones I had to try them. However what I learned was these don’t ‘conduct’ anything. I was expecting sound to be transferred like the old sonic toothbrushes that played music while you brushed and you heard songs played in your head. Basically the music is directed into your ears while the speakers sit in front of them and not on them like traditional earphones.
