Amazing headphones! Outside of ear style allows you to hear necessary worldly things come at you without compromising sound quality. If you don't like putting things in your ears, losing one earbud or having them fall out of your ear in places you can’t get them back, these are perfect. Quick charging and long lasting. Use for music, video Conf. calls, phone calls, blue tooth connection with laptop and car, etc. Water and sweat resistant and stay in place when you jog or play any sport. Takes some getting used to when first worn but easy to wear all the time and you eventually forget you even have them on. Pro user tip: If using on a plane you do need to turn them around so that flex band is in front of your neck vs. behind but they still work fine. One of the most practical products for lifestyle enhancement that I own. Have saved a ton on lost earbuds over about 5 years now!

The Shokz OpenRun Mini Bone Conduction Headphones: think of them as your quirky, futuristic audio sidekick. They offer a listening experience that's both liberating and, let's be honest, delightfully strange. The "bone conduction" thing sounds like something out of a sci-fi movie, right? But it actually works. Instead of blasting sound directly into your eardrums, these headphones send vibrations through your cheekbones, delivering audio directly to your inner ear. It's like having tiny, invisible speakers attached to your skull.   The 'open-ear' design is a revelation. It's a game-changer for anyone who needs to stay aware of their surroundings. Runners, cyclists, and outdoor enthusiasts will love it. But I've found it equally invaluable in the office. I can take calls, stay tuned to my favorite podcasts, and still be fully aware of my colleagues – perfect for navigating the subtle social cues of the workplace. The 'mini' version is a godsend for those with smaller heads or anyone who prefers a snug, secure fit. They're feather-light, comfortable, and stay put, even during my most enthusiastic desk chair dance-offs. The sound quality? It's... different. It's not going to rival high-end over-ear headphones, but it's surprisingly clear and balanced, especially for spoken word and podcasts. Music is enjoyable, though the bass can be a bit lacking. Think of it as a good, solid background soundtrack rather than an immersive audio experience. Battery life is stellar. I've integrated daily charging into my lunch routine and have yet to experience a single day of battery anxiety. Even on those days when I forget to charge, I still have a medium charge to get me through. Yes, you can feel the vibrations, especially at higher volumes. It's not painful, but it takes some getting used to. It's like a tiny, rhythmic massage for your cheekbones. Overall, the Shokz OpenRun Mini headphones are a practical and innovative solution for anyone who values situational awareness and comfort. They're ideal for workouts, outdoor activities, and even office environments. Just be prepared for a slightly ticklish listening experience – it's all part of the bone-conducting charm.

MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE HEADSET! My wife and I wear these constantly when cleaning or just doing stuff around the house in general. It allows us to hear each other in order to pause the device to let the other person speak. MOST COMFORTABLE HEADSET ON THE PLANET! I can wear this for a long time with no headache. I would really LOVE an over-the-head version (just redo it so that the thin part goes over the head but doesn't squish the head). I can't wear this when laying down which is a bummer. The mini fits both me and my wife and isn't much smaller than the regular. I am bummed that the price keeps increasing though. And it only synchs to two devices at a time. But not a dealbreaker. I think I have about 6 of these. One has an issue where something is loose inside the ear part but it still works (one of the original aeropex). And these can take a licking. I put them in my bag without any kind of case many times because I am in a hurry. It doesn't take up much space. Very durable. Very lightweight. Very comfortable. I cannot hear my device when I am sitting at the back of the bus (bus is noisy), but I bring a different headset for that. It's fine when I am in the middle or front though. If you don't really want/need all noise blocked out but want to listen to music or listen to a book, you can't beat it. And the speaker seems okay. I've answered my phone with this headset and people can hear me. I have the OpenComm version too (which has an extension for the microphone to go in front of the mouth). This version is just as good. I had to buy some little wire things to put around the back (one in pink, one in blue, one in yellow) because I needed to be able to distinguish one headset from another (just to color-code them). They just don't have enough colors. And most of the colors are blah. My wife wants Hot pink, bright purple, a pretty emerald green. Then I could keep all the black ones that I have. Everyone should try this headset. Return it if you don't like it. Great battery life too. Wow, long review, but I love this headset.

These things are awesome and absolutely perfect for work. Work being manual labor jobs, I have put these through the paces many many times. I treat these just like an old work hat. They have survived being tossed around the truck, sweaty days, pouring rain, even wash them in the sink. The battery is phenomenal, they are so comfy you will forget you have them on. Very lowkey to wear, never been a topic with the bosses or saftey. Plays music loud enough to get through work, and still be able to hear your buddy. They also take calls well, its a simple 3 button setup, its idiot proof. I will say you want those pods on your skin for the best sound so might have to trim some hair if you identify with your beard. My main complaint is the charging cable. the design is great, and keeps the water resistance consistent. I just cant find one anywhere in stores, so be prepared to order a few extras from the rip. I have had 3 sets of these bc i lost the chord, and killed one pair after 1 year of abuse. If anyone from best buy reads this will yall please carry these charging cables!

No complaints. Clear sound when wearing around the house or running. No problem connecting. Really nice to be able to hear the environment at the same time. I would say the input is 80% speaker 20% ambient when listening at a reasonable volume. Stay put when running. Very light.

I had trouble with ear pieces falling out of my ears while exercising. This solved the problem as it rests in front of the ear. I suppose long hair might get in the way of the back loop structure but otherwise it sits easily. Recharging port is magnetic and secure. Sound is quite good. Bluetooth works great.

I bought the mini on accident shopping online is hard. I was nervous that they’d be too small, I was certain they were too small when they finally showed up. I was happy to find out I was completely wrong. Fit my head perfectly and sound is great. Like other reviews habe mentioned the open ear design does reduce bass reverb performance but they provide ear plugs that increase the bass performance and give your complete sound. Personal preference I will take the lack of bass for the great comfort of nothing in my ear, no collection of sweat or wax. Great headphones happy with battery life, comfort, and sound. Call performance is ok, my voice at regular volume sounds a little distant but I can still be heard and understood.

I LOVE these bone conducting sports/active earbuds! I will always use these! The best earbuds I've ever owned or bought. Great sound easy app connectivity through google play. You forget that you are even wearing them! No one can hear your music but you and you can hear everything around you if you dont have the volume up too high. You can still hear everything but more difficult to hear someone asking a question. I returned these ONLY so I could get the OpenRun Minis. I wear a smaller hat so I needed smaller shokz. The minis only come in black and on the OpenRun. The openrun's are also waterproof which made me breath easier when it started raining! They are so comfortable that I forget that I have them on! The best bang for your buck! THE BEST active bluetooth wear I've ever owned!!! Even then, this morning I had the volume on high and could still hear a bird in the tree above me

I had got these shokz recommended to me by a co worker. I did some reviews on them an took a shot at trying them out. I am honestly very happy with the product overall. when you put them on they sit perfect around your head very comfortably, the sound is good, and the buttons for quick features comes in handy. I had saw they were listed under open box in excellent condition and I took the chance and got them for a great price.

This bone conducting headphones are excellent, great sound and super practical. "sound" is great with these during any kind of sport: I use them while I run or bike or climb, they're solid all around. Sometimes I'll use them while doing chores around the house to still be able to listen to other folks, same where I work. Excellent to have music or podcast while keeping great situational awareness of your surroundings. The mini was the size that fit my head the best, the regular size was too loose. The mini I can easily put under a hat in winter or under a helmet as well. Just works great, zero complaints.

Please read.. I know its wordy Shokz open-run’s are great. (ONLY The open-run pro’s and open-comm’s come with a hard case). I bought them for a summer group project. I originally bought shocks open-comm after about 10 minutes of use, I was asked to return them. People on the other end of the microphone had issue with quality. I returned open-comm immediately and bought both shokz open move and open run for only $10.00 more. The receiving end is exactly the same as open-comm without the added annoyance. Pros: -They fit better around the neck -they are one piece -can be kept around your neck -comfortable for very long periods of time -no issues with different lengths of hair -my son can easily put them in his pocket if teachers want them put away -mitigate wax build up -can still hear your surroundings Cons: -does not have an internal locator/tracking (example:find my). This is probably my largest problem with these. -requires a special charger difficult and expensive to find -no hard case -After the revamping, the quality has significantly decreased. The person on the receiving end of the call notices the most, but still the pros outweigh the cons. I bought these because other members in my extended family raved about them (17 people). Apparently, i was really behind the family trend. They all have Aftershokz (old design) in various models prior to the rebranding… I was allowed to borrow Aftershokz Aeropex for the afternoon. No issues with the output/input. No complaints on the receiving end either. I wish the new ones had the same quality with the microphone. FYI… I did not get the headphones to use for regular phone call use to begin with. I got them because of wax build up in ears, soreness, and to monitor my kids hearing a little better. I know that if i have to yell at them to hear me they have the sound up to high. So… the decision is yours, but this has been our experience. The kids like them better for over all use. Easy to use, small, gym, playing around/light running (i wont let them horse play/fight while wearing), mic records well enough and didn’t pick up background noise, can still hear when the teacher is talking, and is one solid piece. (8-21 year old boys)
