I have had well over 50 sets of earbuds of all types. I love the Openrun Pros but even after 3 replacements in a couple months these Openrun Pro 2s are to me a downgrade from the Op3nrun Pros but still awesome

I bought the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 mini as an open-box item in excellent condition, and I’m really impressed. The deal was fantastic, and the product lives up to the hype.
Clear and crisp for an open-ear headset. It’s not meant to compete with traditional over-ear headphones, but it absolutely gets the job done. Easily lasts a day and a half with regular use. Flawless switching between my phone and laptop. Lightweight and comfortable for long wear.
Overall, this headset meets all my needs—great sound, reliable battery, and seamless connectivity. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quality open-ear option.

I had been in the market for headphones recently because i really didnt like my old bose earbuds. They were great, but some aspects made them very uncomfortable for me. I have small ears, sensitive hearing, and a daith piercing. I also hate the feeling of taking the earbuds out, they are a bit big for my ears and would suction cup to the inside and hurt to take out and i couldnt wear them for long anyway before they became uncomfortable. I needed something else. I liked the sound quality of my old ones and initially surrendered to the fact that something like these Shokz would never compare in terms of audio quality, but i was very wrong. These things have the same if not better sound quality to me. They sit just in front of my ears and have way more going on for them than i expected. They last forever for me and i usually use them a couple of hours a day and maybe only charge them every 2 to 3 weeks. For workouts they stay put and allow me to hear my surroundings which is another feature i value. Theyre also pretty comfortable. I could wear them almost all day without any irritarion and they fit arround glasses effortlessly. I reccomend these to really anyone

Great comfort, great sound, excellent batter life. I bought these to replace an older pair of in-ear buds. Finding a good fit that enabled the buds to stay in, and didn't end up hurting after a short time, was always a challenge.
I think the answer has finally arrived for me. The OpenRun2 approach to bone conduction, paired with a great app, allows me to listen in comfort, not worry about them falling off, and still be aware of my surroundings.

I’ve been using the Shoz Open Pro 2 for a few weeks now, and it’s easily one of the best open-ear headphones I’ve tried. The combination of sound quality, comfort, and safety makes it ideal for everything from commuting and working out to long conference calls.
The open-ear design is a game changer. It allows me to stay aware of my surroundings while still enjoying clear and immersive audio. Unlike traditional earbuds, these don’t cause ear fatigue, and they stay comfortably in place even during runs or cycling.
Sound-wise, the Shoz Open Pro 2 delivers crisp mids, solid bass (especially for an open-ear model), and clear voice calls. I was pleasantly surprised by the built-in microphone—it picks up my voice clearly even in windy or noisy environments.
Battery life is another strong point. I get a full day of moderate use without needing a recharge, and the quick charging feature is a nice bonus.
If you’re looking for a high-performance open-ear headphone that balances comfort, safety, and sound, the Shoz Open Pro 2 is an excellent choice

The main draw for me was that they sit on the outside of my ears and not inside the ear canal. I would get ear pain from the pressure and needed a solution. With these I get an easy to put on solution that sounds great and lasts through a whole workday. Also, I dont have to worry about them sliding out when I'm running around as they sit nice on my ears and around the back of my head, out of the way. Highly recommend!!

These headphones are great, especially for driving since they don't block all the outside noise, so you can hear emergency vehicles approaching. They sat on your head during any physical activities that you might be participating in. They're comfortable to wear for 10-12 hours a day. Long talk time before having to recharge.

I purchased the Shokz headphones at the recommendation of a technician I hired to install a stair lift. When I was working on a project in the garage or in the yard on a day with very warm temps one (or both) of my Apple earbuds would fall out of my ear if I bent over to pick up something. The Shokz headphones were the solution. They stay in place from having a cable from speaker to speaker wrap around the back of my head so the headphones stay in place. I use them when working on projects around the home, as well as when I walk for exercise and listen to sports podcasts. The headphones are comfortable to wear, the quality of sound is very good, and its bone conduction design allows me to have a conversation with someone while still listening to podcasts/music. I tried another brand of a similar design but was not satisfied with the sound. For me Shokz headphones are the gold standard.

After less than a month with the Shokz OpenRun SE, I upgraded to the OpenRun Pro 2. I am so glad I did because the sound quality and volume are so much better. I like how in noisy areas, I can max the volume without the speakers vibrating. I can wear these all day without aches and pain in my ear. The one issue I have, which brings the rating down to a 4 from a 5, is the wrap around head piece (not sure what's it's called). It's too short to fully wrap around my neck when I take the headphones down off my ears. I understand this is the mini version. The OpenRun SE I had prior was the standard version and it was too long. Laying down with them on was a problem for me. If there was a way for Shokz to make the wrap around adjustable, then I think these headphones would be perfect.

I had the previous Shokz Pro Run and thought they were great. I would wear them when open-ear was essential, e.g., cycling, working, exercising. I used my Galaxy Buds Pro 3 when I wanted quality sound.
The new Shokz Pro 2 eliminates the need to use my Galaxy Buds when I want Quality. They are that good.
The battery life is awesome. They are not feature-rich. But, now have an app. They are the most comfortable and secure headphones.

I've seen and heard the bone conduction headphones in the past, and listened to Shokz, Bose, and Sony's for a long time. The OpenRun Pro 2's (regular and mini) are amazing.
The minis are comfortable around my ears and are not very heavy. The key to these headphones vs. the original OpenRun Pro (or any other non-Shokz headphones) is that these include a traditional speaker for sound in the lower frequencies (think bass) via a woofer.
Previous versions of these would rattle or vibrate excessively against your head as it tried to produce bass via bone conduction. It would eventually give people headaches. My wife didn't like the original pair, but I purchased these and the rattling vibration is completely gone.
What you do get is a decent lasting battery, comfortable sitting, and an unobtrusive pair of headphones with excellent sound and yet you can carry a conversation on with people around you.
After having these for a while, I would not hesitate in recommending Shokz 2's to anyone who loves quality audio, good quality devices with sound control for running or any other athletic activity (except swimming, check out the Shokz OpenSwim)

I bought these initially to go cycling, I wanted to listen to podcasts and audiobooks while still being able to hear everything around me. I own a pair of Apple AirPod Pro 2’s and they were alright in transparency mode but not quite the same as open ear headphones.
Since I got these, I haven’t used my AirPods again. I love them for biking, they fit over my ears with my glasses and helmet no problem. Whenever I wear in-ear headphones I always have to adjust them periodically, and that is gone with these headphones, I wear them for hours and only occasionally remember they’re there, which is great for doing chores around the house or when working at my desk.
The sound quality is acceptable to me, I don’t have any complaints (but I’m also not very picky.)
One note for anyone on the edge, my local BestBuy had display units in store to try these out to gauge the fit and sound quality for yourself, which is was pushed me over the edge to buy them.
