You will love these headphones!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love everything about these headphones! I was never able to wear original Shokz headphones because the neckband wasn't large enough, The OpenRun Pro 2's are much larger and fit perfectly! The sound quality is fantastic and they have a long battery life. I love the bone conduction technology that allows awareness of my surroudings while I listen to music and podcasts.

Great Headphones. Not Bone Conduction
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried these on at a running store and was blown away with how good they sounded for being an open ear headphone. I have tried many open ear models over the years and none have been very good, especilly with bass. The last time I tried Shokz was 2018 and they were horrifically bad. But the Open Run 2 model is straight up incredible. The sound is clear and crisp with great bass. They are also super loud. Half volume or less on my Garmin Fenix 7 is plenty. The comfort is also very good. Even with a hat and glasses on, they feel great and stay in the right position. I couldnt be more pleased from a sound and comfort perspective. From a safety perspective, these are not as safe as other open ear headphones. Since most (if not all) of the sound is coming from the external speaker instead of bone conduction, it makes it substantially harder to hear external noise at the same volume. The volume has to be turned way down for them to be legitimately safe vs in-ear headphones. Safety concerns aside, these are a fantastic pair of excercise headphones, especilly for running. These are a substantial upgrade for me from the Bose Quiet Comfort.

Shokz Open Pro 2 lives up to the hype
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're not sure if these are right for you, don't hesitate. Make sure you take correct measurements as to not purchase the wrong size. I have the mini and love it! I wasn't sure if they would be loud enough but they didnt' disappoint. I am able to hear my music and still be aware of my surroundings. These headphones stay secure on your head. Buy them!

Best thing to happen to head phones in years!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have purchased 4 of these Shokz Bone conduction headphones 2 for me and two as gifts. The sound is great. Not having them plugged into my ear canal saves my hearing! So light and minimal size you hardly know you have them on. Unlike iPods they don’t fall out when you’re exercising! The company now offers a USB C CHARGING PORT instead of their magnetic one. A major improvement, more secure attachment to charging cable. I previously owned another company’s bone conduction headphones they were 1/3rd the price. As my best friend has told me “ Buy cheap, buy twice!” The sound had little to no bass so it was particularly harsh. Buy Shokz!

Great sound, transparency.Steel Blue looks great.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the way these sound, and the ability to easily hear others when they talk to me without having to remove an earbud. It is almost as if there was music playing in the room and someone was speaking with you. This is hugely valuable when sharing a space with people. I also like the feeling of openness to the environment and "presence" when cycling or walking. I was a bit concerned about buying the steel blue model even though it was on sale, as the blue looked somewhat gaudy and childish/cheap in the photos. But it looks great in real life, more subtle and appropriate for a solid piece of equipment. Very pleased. It does sound a bit softer than other headphones I have, so I find myself setting the volume higher.

Honestly, really good.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I dint even forget when im wearing them, super comfortable. The audio quakity is good. Charge fast. The only thing i can say is since theyre open ear, if the noise outside is too loud, you wont be able to hear too much the audio coming from the headset.

Easy to use, easy to own
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 for my father, and they have been a fantastic find. He’s always struggled with traditional earbuds being uncomfortable or falling out, but these sit perfectly. Once I helped him through the initial pairing and configuration, he found them very easy to use daily. The bone conduction technology is the real winner here—he loves that he can listen to his podcasts or music while still being fully aware of his surroundings. The sound quality is surprisingly crisp for an open-ear design. It’s a solid, well-built product that delivers exactly what it promises.

Sound is great and comfortable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just awesome! Was hesitant about sound quality but it works great. My in ear Boise did better in quality but I only had one in my ear at a time. And of course I kept loosing the other one or the charging case. With these earphones I can hear my surroundings and the music. And my ears don’t hurt after using them for long period of time. Use the App it unlocks additional features. Battery life could be a little longer, but they charge fast.

Just buy these!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound, comfortable headphones perfect for someone like me who has great difficulty with normal earbuds that have to go into my ears. These don't enter the actual ear and instead rest right outside the ear canal and are so much nicer to wear. Highly recommend!

Safety for runners
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a gift, my son says the hearing quality is crystal clear, good connectivity and comfortable. Since he is a marathon runner he is now able to move when someone says “ on your left. Being able to listen to music and hear traffic and surrounding sounds is a definite advantage.

Very comfortable and good sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a bit skeptical of these to begin with as I've never had bone conducting headphones before, but I really liked the design and wanted to be able to listen to music while still being able to hear what was happening around me at work and while I run. But oh man, are these amazing! They are extremely comfortable and the sound quality is much better than I expected. Battery live is solid too!

I got them for half; I'd happily pay full-price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The battery life is excellent, the sound quality is awesome, and the buttons are intuitive. They're comfortable while doing all sorts of physical activity, even for long periods of time. I've worn them for a few weeks for 8hrs at a time at work, no battery issues, and they don't really make your ears sore. Thanks to Shokz for MAKING BONE-CONDUCTION GREAT AGAIN.

Excellent quality and look
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound quality is very good. Excellent for the price. Easy connect. The app is simple and easy to use. I like the multipoint pairing option. I’ve owned about 6 pairs of bone conduction open ear sports headphones over the course of the past 10 years and all have been durable. They are still working and they still have long lasting battery life. The battery life on this model is amazing and they perform very well through various intense sports sessions.

Too large for my ears
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited to use these OpenRun Pro 2’s by Shokz, as I had heard so much about them. Visually, they look “basic”, nothing really exciting about them other than that large band that will wrap around the back of your neck/base of your head. I put them on and I immediately knew they were not going to work. There is this large gap for the loop over my ears and rest outside the tragus (flap of cartilage in front of the ear canal) portion of the ear. They do not go inside the ear canal like traditional over-ear or in-ear earbuds. The purpose is for you to be completely aware of your surroundings if you are jogging, hiking, cycling and there are multiple points of danger around you. At the same time, you are able to listen comfortably to your music or podcasts, etc. The problem with me is the loop is so large that it rests way ahead of my tragus and I am not able to hear much of anything, even at full audio level. The loop does not conform whatsoever with my ears, I guess I have small ears? Even the band that goes at the back of the neck rests comfortably there but I was hoping there was an option to shorten it so that it can be snug around there. I’ve tried running outside with these on and I am able to hear about 50% of the content I had playing. At times, because they are on the larger side, they move up and down the ear and so I am afraid they are going to fall off. If I hold on to them with my hands and kind of move them back towards the canal, then I can get a more richer sound. Battery life is actually really good for these, as they lasted around 12 hours on my battery test. That is actually excellent compared to my other ear-buds that I own and use. Sound quality is not great as they sound tinny and not enough base. I would have liked to have louder volume on these. Overall, I do not believe that these OpenRun Pro 2’s are meant for me. They are just too large and don’t fit my head/ears. As a result I am not able to hear much of anything I am trying to listen to. Yes, they do allow me to be more aware of my surroundings, but I might as well be listening to my phone on speaker.

Great decision!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great pair of headphones. The features work great, I can navigate my listening apps, answer and end calls. Connect to 2 phones at once. They are lightweight and the sound is pretty incredible. The battery lasts well after my 10.5 hour work shift. I have zero complaints.

A Surprising Headphone
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Shokz Bluetooth sports headphones are truly unbelievable! I was extremely impressed by the unexpected and incredible sound quality, comfort, and running wearability. Plus, I can actually hear exterior sounds around me without losing the music I listen to as I run. I'll never go back to annoying earbud type headphones.
