I have used the Shokz open run pro for a few years and like the quality and sound without entering the ear. So I added an Open Run Pro 2 to my collection so I wouldn’t have to Pair every time I moved to another system. Very pleased with the battery life

Really like them, the souls is really good .. they are not your over the ear xlassic headphones sound , I have those too. I use them but I find I use these more, as I'm waiting for a phone call and don't want to miss it while I'm streaming from my tablet while listening by Bluetooth headphones I reach for these during the day. I highly recommend, I can be on my phone and still hear what is around me, that is excellent. Makes it an excellent choice, You can listen to your music, scroll Soc. Med., listen to an Audiobook, or a YT video, in a public setting, still be aware and able to hear if someone is addressing you, all while being courteous to everyone around you by wearing headphones...these help you...stay in the world... Not check out... Because sometimes you need to still hear what's going on around you for any number of reasons. I also got the swimmers pro, which also has its own storage, if you need to save battery or have limited data plan.

got a pair of these for myself and my husband recently, and we both love them. I got the smaller size for me (5'5' woman with small head) and got the regular size for my husband (6'1 man with regular size head), and they fit us well. - We like to run outside, and these feel much safer than wearing earbuds while we're around cars. - Also, my husband is always fighting with the need to clean wax out of his earbuds, and that problem is eliminated here, which is honestly the reason I looked into these in the first place :P - I'm also excited to wear them in the pool next summer, swimming laps is maximum boring with no sound. - I like that I can wear them around my neck when I take them off vs. having to hold ear buds in my hand when I take them off. - I like that if one of us is listening to something and the other starts talking, we can still hear each other without having to fiddle around and pull something out of our ears. The less good: I had hoped to wear these for work calls too, but I think the mic quality is not as good as my earbuds, so I am mostly using these for exercise and not work. One thing I would change - they don't turn off automatically after a period of dormancy. They don't burn a lot of battery when they're just sitting on my desk, but they stay connected to my bluetooth until I manually disconnect them, and I don't love that, esp bc I'm using other ear buds for work. If I had my way, they would turn themselves off after 10-20 minutes of dormancy.

I had the prior model of these Shokz. I am not an expert but I can tell you that, the audio is of better quality, same as the battery. Outside, it is the same as the old model with the exception of the old propietary charging port, now it is a USB-C, which means i can use all my other chargers to juicy it up. I hope this revier helps your decision, if you are considering Shokz

Context: I tried them on at an REI and thought they were pretty neat, though I did purchased through BestBuy when they were on sale. I would consider myself an audiophile as I used to build SEMA sound competition cars. The sound quality on these is decent. I would say it's mind blowing by any means, but you probably aren't purchasing these for SQ. They do have a a dual output (bone conduction and air), which anyone near you can hear pretty well. When I switch in the app to pure bone-conduction, they vibrate my face a little and it becomes irritating, so I mainly leave them on dual mode. Working out: - For running, they work great. - For lifting, due to the band around the back, exercises like bench pressing or pushing up against something with the back of your head, the band gets in the way. - My wife says they're a little lose on her and she would prefer the size down from normal - It's pretty neat to be able to hear things outside of a passthrough clearly (like cars or noises), while still listening to music Other usages - For things like yard work, they aren't the best. Largely due to them being open ear (no-way...) so it offers no hearing protection in that sense Overall - They're kind of neat. If I was someone who swam a lot, the waterproof ones would be great - They feel like kind of a niche spot of being light, easy to wear with no fatigue, and okay sound quality I believe I would have preferred to get the over the ear bud versions vs the sports headphones for my usages.

These headphones have turned into my favorite. The microphone feedback I get after calls is incredible. It really makes all background noise obsolete. The sound is also very good considering you can still hear the outside environment. The only time I have noticed a problem is being in a very loud room while a spin class was going.

Excellent sound quality and good for situational awareness on outdoor walks. The only drawback keeping me from 5 stars is that it’s less effective than in ear or over ear headphones in loud environments like the gym. They do have a feature to compensate for this which does help some. Overall would recommend and definitely would buy again.

I love these, I had the older pair a while back and I got used to the bone conduction, I thought I wouldn't like the air a bone conduction but I gotta say it is great. Listening to Lofi on these on a morning walk is great, they don't fall off at all and can get pretty loud depending on the music file. Love these there worth the purchase!

If you are reading my review you are probably wondering "should I buy" the new Shokz Openrun Pro 2's. My advice is run as fast as you can to Best Buy and purchase these. I've always liked the Shokz brand. Their bone conduction audio is best in class. The Pro 2's have now entered the arena of threatening in ear earbuds existence. The sound quality is that good. I'm no audiophile and I'm 63 years old. I rate audio they way it sounded when I was young. Playing Dark Side of the Moon on vinyl, listening with a pair of Kenwood cans hooked to my receiver via a 3.5 mm jack was the closest to heaven as I had ever gotten listening to music. Then came yesterday. I went to Best Buy with my fingers crossed hoping the Pro 2's were half as good as all the YouTuber's that were sponsored by Shokz said they were. YES they were and then some. Do they sound as good as my listening pleasure decades ago? No, but they aren't far off. I can say confidently a lot of in ear earbud manufactures might as well start closimg shop. Why in the heck anyone wants constant ear fatigue from in ear's and the gross part that comes with them when the Shokz Pro 2's are available. No I'm not sponsored by Shokz and this is my first ever review on Best Buy. The closest relationship I have with Shokz is I live in Kansas and Wichita State is the Shockers. Trust me I like the Pro 2 Shokz a heck of a lot more than the Shockers. I'm done now which means you're done reading now. Go get these immediately, trust me you will not regret it.

I work 12 hours a day. Battery life is excellent. I wear this Shokz pro 2 headphone all day. I use it when go to the gym to exercise. It does not come off my head even when I go to bed. This headphone is so comfortable wearing it sometimes I forget that I am wearing it. The sound is excellent. I also use it in answering phone calls. The microphone call quality and noise, cancellation or voice isolation is really top notch. 10/10 for sound quality. I really like the sound of the base. The case that it come in is very nice and they charge quickly.

It is a very good purchase for those who need to hear your surroundings and listen to music at the same time. I mainly use it in an office environment. I admit though, that I felt the Openfit Air model was better at allowing me to hear my surroundings, while I had to turn these down. They sound better than I expected. I tested the prior model, and you can tell the base was one of the things they focused on for their latest. I think to the detriment of the higher sound region. There is an adjustable equalizer though to help.

I have had many iterations of various Shokz headphones and this one is great. It combines their traditional bone conduction system with a low frequency speaker to provide more bass without running into vibrotactile issues. This is great for running and any activity where you need to be aware of your surroundings as well. As always, you can still damage your hearing by driving these too loud, so be careful.
