    Clean outside, questionable use levels

I was pleased that, cosmetically, the item arrived as described as an open-box excellent order - but, unfortunately, it had two remaining "paired devices". That always concerns me, as it seems to indicate more use than was suggested. One prior device history is not concerning; two devices, however, suggest something else. As for the device functionality, it functions comparably to my existing Shokz OpenRun Pro, though it showcases better overall sound quality, comfort (feels lighter against my head when I compare the two, and offers more equalizing customization. I still find the first generation to work sufficiently well, but these will be my new primary, with the Gen1 being my secondary. And, if you've never experienced Shokz, never compare their sound quality against earbuds and full-headphones. These are meant for a "personal radio" experience, where you need open ears but want to have the advantage of hands-free sound/phone experiences. When so perceived, these are great.

Overall, these a great bone conducting headphones. The sound quality is great, however, if you plan on using these in loud areas I recommend wearing earplugs as it can be hard to hear the audio otherwise. I returned mine only because they didnt fit my head and ears well and would make my ears sore. I would have kept them if they fit well, otherwise, good product.

they are really good to use; especially when you are working out or outside. the fit needs a little getting used to. the sound is really good and bass decent. Also I love the steel blue colour, can't get it anywhere else. Happy with the purchase.

Context: I tried them on at an REI and thought they were pretty neat, though I did purchased through BestBuy when they were on sale. I would consider myself an audiophile as I used to build SEMA sound competition cars. The sound quality on these is decent. I would say it's mind blowing by any means, but you probably aren't purchasing these for SQ. They do have a a dual output (bone conduction and air), which anyone near you can hear pretty well. When I switch in the app to pure bone-conduction, they vibrate my face a little and it becomes irritating, so I mainly leave them on dual mode. Working out: - For running, they work great. - For lifting, due to the band around the back, exercises like bench pressing or pushing up against something with the back of your head, the band gets in the way. - My wife says they're a little lose on her and she would prefer the size down from normal - It's pretty neat to be able to hear things outside of a passthrough clearly (like cars or noises), while still listening to music Other usages - For things like yard work, they aren't the best. Largely due to them being open ear (no-way...) so it offers no hearing protection in that sense Overall - They're kind of neat. If I was someone who swam a lot, the waterproof ones would be great - They feel like kind of a niche spot of being light, easy to wear with no fatigue, and okay sound quality I believe I would have preferred to get the over the ear bud versions vs the sports headphones for my usages.

The music on the shop pro two sounds pretty nice, but the frequency is off sometimes for voice calls and you can’t understand the sounds at times.

Incredible sound for the technology. Much better than original model. Wish it went a little louder because with heavy noise (traffic etc) it’s hard to hear.

These headphones have turned into my favorite. The microphone feedback I get after calls is incredible. It really makes all background noise obsolete. The sound is also very good considering you can still hear the outside environment. The only time I have noticed a problem is being in a very loud room while a spin class was going.

I love these, I had the older pair a while back and I got used to the bone conduction, I thought I wouldn't like the air a bone conduction but I gotta say it is great. Listening to Lofi on these on a morning walk is great, they don't fall off at all and can get pretty loud depending on the music file. Love these there worth the purchase!

They are perfect for me. I wear them at work every day. I listen to books and music while working, but can hear what’s going on around me. The battery life is good since I work between 10-12 hour days.
