Surprisingly good sound quality from a very comfort headset. I actually use it primarily for gaming as I find prolonged wearing of headphones that cover my ears to be uncomfortable. Also its nice to be able to hear what's going on around me where with headphones it was like being in an isolation box.
The one issue I have is that they don't appear to support Bluetooth LE so if the mic is in use it actually has to change the sound quality to a single channel low bit. This is apparently true of any bluetooth headset that doesn't support Bluetooth LE.

It works great. No problem with matching it with my phone or watch. The music is very clear and the battery last for several hours over several days without charging. It even tells you the remaining charge when first turned on.

The Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 strikes a solid balance: much better sound than past bone-conduction pods, secure fit, long battery, all via universal USB‑C, while still keeping you aware. If outdoor safety matters most and you can overlook in‑ear fidelity, it’s one of the best in its class. Just be mindful of fit, durability, and that open-ear trade-offs apply.

I have been using the first generation of the OpenRun Pro for running and walking for about two years now, and I decided to see if this new version made them better- the answer is absolutely YES. Battery life is a little bit better, the fit and comfort are still just as good, but the sound is markedly better. Music and voice are clearer and richer, and this version avoids the vibration feeling you could get with the previous generation. On my runs I listen to audiobooks, podcasts, and music, and these headphones do well with all of them. You will still get better sound from high-quality earbuds or over-ear headphones, but if you want to still be able to hear around you for safety, like I do on runs, these are great.

I have been wearing my open earbuds for over a week. And a 1/2 now have not taken them off. These things are amazing. I don't know why anybody would ever want to use. No easy counseling unless it's for a specific reason. The other one just kept falling out of my ears. These things you can jog run. Do whatever you want. I'm absolutely loving them. Don't hesitate great quality. Good connection.

I work in the trades and for what I need, these absolute preform. They’re comfortable to wear, the sound quality is what you expect it to be for an open ear headset, and the mic is decent. Now it won’t preform like AirPods or any in ear devices, but if you’re trying to be aware of surroundings and don’t want something in your ear, I’d 100% recommend them.

I bought these headphones for my wife. She loves to run and listen to music. These headphones supply the perfect balance between listening to music and providing a safe environment while running. The sound quality was great and they connect to her phone seamlessly I would recommend these headphones to anybody who’s looking for a sound system to exercise with.

I’ve had the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 for a couple of months. Here’s my honest take.
What I liked
Comfort: You can almost forget you’re wearing them. Very comfortable for long periods.
Sound: They won’t match in-ear or over-ear headphones, but the sound quality is still very good for what they are.
Durability: So far they’ve held up well with regular use.
Where they fell short (deal-breaker for me)
Phone calls: This is where they take a hit. One of the main reasons I bought them was for hands-free calling on construction sites, and I’ve consistently had issues, callers breaking up, and people on the other end struggling to hear me clearly. I’ve ended up switching back to my old in-ear buds for calls, which defeats the purpose.
Bottom line
Great comfort, solid sound for bone-conduction, and good durability—but call quality hasn’t been reliable enough for my jobsite use, so I’ll be returning them.

I love these. They fit great, and the sound quality is amazing. I love that there is a separate pause button away from the power and volume buttons. And my ears are very happy that I am no longer using the in-ear buds that caused so much discomfort. I wore these all day and almost forget they are on.

The latest in the Shocks Open Run series. What makes this one unique is that it uses the type- C Charging cable, making your day so much easier. The head phones last for twelve hours, less pain in the ear canal and my personal favorite being able to hold more than one coversation.

These fit my head well, and I have a big head, so they are surprisingly comfortable as well. I can wear them all day and not remember I'm wearing them. They also seem to last all day for me through calls and listening to music and podcasts. I like that I can still be aware of my surroundings while listening to things.

I am very happy with this headset. I already had the OpenRun Pro, and these Pro 2s make music sound much better and the battery lasts longer. More bass and a more open sound. They also work suprisingly well for phone calls or voice memos with very low background noise on the Mic. Build quality is top notch as well. If I ever lose these I will be replacing them right away with the same ones.

I bought these mainly to ride my bike and still be able to have a phone call or listen to music. These headphones are outstanding at staying put while being comfortable. The sound is surprisingly good considering the sound is not going directly into the ear the way a regular headphone would. Conversations are very clear and music is acceptable. It is not the same wide sound range as a regular pair of headphones, but that cannot be expected considering how the sound is transmitted. This was a so worth it purchase.
