Headphones
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review..I am blown away. I was very skeptical that the sound quality would be good, but it's just amazing, and I can still hear what's going on around me, which is of course the whole point. I bought them for the gym so I could hear when a gym . Best headphones

Absolutely great and versatile headphones
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome, able to hear other noises (hazards) when using, also great at work. I can use with earplug hearing protection when employer’s won’t allow noise canceling as protection

Very good headphones
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The headphones are great but they went on sale right after I purchased them. I went back to the store 16 days later and they tell me that I have 15 days only to have them match that price. Most places are 30 days and I would advise you to buy online with a 30-day return policy.

Shokz superior to other earbud / headphones
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased to use when working in the shop and exercising. They have been exactly what I wanted. I have other products but could hear footsteps when moving around and constantly fell out of my ears. The wrap around and conduction design of the Shokz is perfect for what I need and wanted.

Great headphones. Mediocre upgrade
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these as a replacement for my previous open run headohones. As for the good, these have great connectivity and are very comfortable and lightweight. I've worn them for hours on end while working and exercising with no discomfort or issues. The downsides are they aren't quite worth buying over the base open runs. The addition bass is noticable in quiet environments but easily gets drowned out. The IP rating is slightly lower on these. There is also more sound leakage. Overall, these will be a great choice, especially for vocals and podcasts. I can't recommend them over the slightly cheaper open runs.

Usage for the hearing impaired.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Usage: I purchased the Shokz-OpenRun Pro for the longer battery life. I do find this is adequate if barely for a day's use. I am totally deaf in one ear so wearing the standard earpieces leaves me with very few choices. I purchased with the hope I would have the ability to hear other conversations, safety while driving etc. For the most part this has been true. The volume is lacking with background noises going on but with only one ear I think the average person will get double the sound and won't need more volume. Comfort: The wrap around over the ears works pretty good for the eye glass users. It may take a while for the user to get used to the pressure of the sound conductor against the side of the face. In fact, Eye Glass wearers may get used to the pressure faster than non-users. Hey, now you get a taste of the nose rests we deal with. They are comfortable enough I accidently got into the shower with them on and there were no issues afterwards. Issues: While the streaming works perfectly I am plagued with disconnects while using on phone calls. While streaming will last for hours, phone calls may last a couple minutes to 15 minutes before losing contact with the phone (Apple). The worst thing is you get no warning like "Disconnecting" etc. It is not disconnecting the call itself so if I am close enough to the phone my customers can still hear me. I do not necessarily think this is the head set but maybe. Adjustability: There is no adjustability at all. For me this is ok. For someone who has a small head, there may be an issue. I have talked with others who swear the tightness gives them a headache. I have not had that happen to me, however you do have to have the conductor in exactly the right place to get the full volume, so there must be some pressure to keep it there. Quality: Unlike some earbuds, I get sound from both sides even though I can only hear in one ear. Most people don't even realize they only get sound in the left side if they have a wired headset. I get the full sound in both sides, so I doubt I get stereo, but i used to have to turn my left air buds upside to get sound in my right ear. Final thoughts. This is by far the best headset I have used. While not perfect due to losing the connection and inability to attach to multiple devices with instant connections, it is adequate for my needs. If my phone calls did not drop, I would give this a really high mark.

Def not worth the upgrade vs Aftershockz yet!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own the similar aftershockz and I would not have ordered these Shokz after testing them out. The base improvement is overstated and I dont tell the difference at all. While I still love these and they are a slight battery improvement overall, I felt like they marketed them a bit too hard (part of the rebranding to drum up sales even more) and I took the bait and I'm not noticing the differences. I generally listen to hip hop or electronic music.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like that I can go walking outside and still hear what is going on around me if I keep the volume lower. I was also surprised that if you have it loud enough you don’t hear anything except your music. I have not tried it with a phone call yet. I’ve taken it to the gym with me and did not have to worry about it falling out of my ear like my air pods sometimes do.

Not as advertised
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are not bone conducting. Theyre just small soeakers right next to your ears. I had an older model from this brand that were actually bone conducting and i could hear everything around me while listening yo music. With bone conduction you can stick earplugs in and still hear the audio perfectly. Not with these. The EQ is lousy too. The bass is too much and just makes my ears itch. These were may more expensive and way less functional as far as im concerned. The fit is better however and i do appreciate the fast charge.

No, I would not recommend this to a friendBrand response from Shokz
Posted .Hi there- Shokz here! We're sorry to hear this has been your experience and we greatly appreciate your feedback. Bone conduction technology converts sound into mechanical vibrations transmitted through the skin and temporal bone to the cochlea, bypassing traditional air conduction transmitters like the external auditory canal or eardrum. We highly recommend updating to the latest firmware version via the Shokz app. You can also customize your listening experience via the app. If you decide these are not a good fit for you, we kindly ask that you reach out to BestBuy directly to learn of their return policy. Thanks!
