Really comfortable
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The earbuds work perfectly for their intended purpose, the comfortability is the best out of all the bone conducting headphones i've tried, it was less noticable wearing them then the regular aftershokz. Unfortunately it seems that the bass was lacking compared to the non pro version. Still perfectly clear and great for podcast and audiobooks but overall a 7/10 because of the sub 200hz. Still recommended~!

Comfy and Tough!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are hands down and by far my favorite headset I have ever owned. Great battery life, fit, and just enough features to get the job done. If it really well and stay firmly in place when running, exercising, and working around the house. I have definitely forgotten to take these things off because of how comfortable they are.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seriously if your lookin for the best bone conducting headphones these are for you...ive owned two pairs now.. the top of the lines first generation and the improved pro version since the name change. Both were awesome and worth money spent they last better than beats and fit with glasses fairly decent and they stay pretty well grippy

Awesome open-ear listening inside/outside/at work
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been wanting this for 15 years! Great for podcasts, voice, or pop/indie music with midrange/trebel focus. I'm giving this 5 stars, because it is even better than what I imagined and the bone conduction with open ear listening is super important to me. I don't like being unable to hear what's going on around me. Plus my ears don't get hot like they do from over ear headphones. NOTE Things with lots of bass don't reproduce well. For most things I listen to, the sound is great! For some music with more bass, it will be missing, but I don't care as much. FITS OVER GLASSES PERFECTLY - I looked it up to make sure, but when I put them on, they felt so natural and I didn't have to fiddle with them unlike the powerbeats3 headphones I had previously. Super easy to put on and manage (stays together, no separate wireless earbuds to lose) Turned it up to just past mid (higher than I prefer listening to) and people around me can't hear any sound even when hear by! The only cons are: 1. not for heavy bass music (like Mezannine Tear Drop), sometimes you feel the bump instead of hearing it; but I never experienced any buzzing or vibration. 2. can't really lay down with these on, because the band will push the side contacts out of the way. Maybe I should have gotten the mini version? If I prop my head right, I can lay back.

Better than buds
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Busy mom with my hands full and constant having to remove an ear bud for some reason or another. these don't interfere with my being able to hear my kids or other things things going on but also don't lose the integrity of great sound quality i forget i have them on sometimes. I can go 2-3 days on one charge. One year in only problem im now experiencing is people saying that i sound off when using them to talk.

Shokz Headphones
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these headphones. They work so well. I love that i can listen to my music without having to take my earbuds out when someone talks to me. They are a very good design for active people or someone who needs to hear the outside world but still needing music. Its perfect for people with little ears. You dont have to shove a tiny painful ear bud in.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second pair of these after the first pair wore out from almost daily use working outdoors 8-10 hours. The first pair lasted almost 4 years. Thousands of hours of music, phone calls, or streaming. Sound quality is okay. They are extremely confortable and i forget I’m wearing them most days

My fav headphones for phone calls.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are great. Everyone says my voice sounds the best compared to other headsets, my phone, or my speaker phone. Calls a clear. If there is background noise it’s hard to hear. Sometimes just highway noise does it. But the idea is to hear your surroundings. They are great for calls. Not the best for music. I have them turned all the way up most of the time. I’m under the belief that the wires run through the back side headset wrap thing. So I don’t have to worry about the Bluetooth signal going from one earbud to the other straight through my head. That will scramble your brains. Don’t get the separate buds !!! These are the best for phone calls. They suck if you like to wear hats or put your head against the headrest in your car because of the wire thing around the back. But you get used to adjusting it. Not good for music. No base. Not loud.

Work Great!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased these to replace an older model that broke after constant use. I pair these to my office phone, and it provides hands free operation allowing me to talk on the phone and have both my hands available to type. I also work outside with these, and they work well..and even sleep in these as I listen to podcasts at night. Sound quality is not at a level that an “audiophile” would gush over, but that is not the purpose of these. These are meant to keep users ears open to be aware of their surroundings. For podcasts and spoken word, they do very well. They aren’t bad for music, but better sound quality can be had from in-ear headphones. Ultimately, these are great headphones - so good that I have purchased them twice. Hope this helps those considering purchasing more comfortable with the decision.

Most comfortable headphones I've ever worn
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's not fair to judge bone conduction headphones on audio quality so I'm not even going to bother. To do so would be missing the point entirely. These headphones are amazing for anyone who does anything outdoors. I use these while cycling and just taking walks around the neighborhood. Being able to listen to workout jams on my bike while still being aware of everything happening on the road around me is a game changer. These also just happened to be the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn. Better than the light and plush Sony wh-1000xm4s because of one important thing: I constantly forget I'm wearing the shokz. I can put them on in the morning and not realize I'm still wearing them until I lie down at night and the neck band will adjust against my pillow. No discomfort whatsoever. Even my Sonys I can only wear for 5-6 hours most. These are all day headphones and have 10 hour battery life to back it up. I thought that would be an exaggeration when I read it on the spec sheet but no, he's got at least 8 hours of playback time for me but most of that's at max volume. At 50% volume I could easily see this going for 12 hours.

Gota Love them...
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The fit is alsome. I like the mechanical up-down volume. The battery life says 10 hours, I use them 2 days between charges. Sound quality is good, There are not Bose though. The strongest point is still hearing suround sounds while using, they don't seal off your ears.

Great audio solution for working out
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very comfortable. The audio quality is great considering you can still hear the world around you. The sound change when you open your mount really wide is interesting. The only thing I don't like is the custom charging cable. It's not USB-C.

This makes so there nothing in ny ear
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never really like ear bud due to them bothering my ears, so thes are great, since their not in my ear and wrap around my ear. Its nice also if im walking i can still listen to music and still be aware of my surroundings, or if someone is talking. Everyone ive talked to with the built in mic says it sounds great. The only downer is their not super loud, but it ok for me cause i dont need them that loud.

Great headphones
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an upgrade from my first pair of shokz. They are much better in sound quality and fit. Hear the music as well as being aware of my surroundings. Got them at a great price from Best Buy. So if you see them on sale pick them up you won't be disappointed. Battery life is also good.

I'm a Juilliard Grad with an BM and Master Degree
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The reason I'm putting down my musical qualifications is to put some weight to my review. I work out using these and from all the moaning and complaining about them, I was expecting a terrible sound. Not so! I decided to try them out despite the critical musical reviews, with the full intention of returning them. I will not. These are loud and great for working out. The music quality is very good and they don't hurt my ears. The best thing is that I can hear my surroundings, i.e., cars, trucks etc. I run distance so a lot can happen on the road. This is my "go to" pair for listening when walking or running on the road. I like them better than my AirPods Pro 1. Don't hesitate buying these. I got the blue ones on sale. A sale is hard to find, but I found one here at Best Buy for like 40 or so dollars off. I don't like paying full price for anything, so this deal checked every single box for me.

Great product and they also include a headband !
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the following in quotes from an article explaining the concept and technology behind these types of “bone conducting” headphones. The ones I am reviewing and enjoying are the SHOKZ OpenRun Pro model: “Unlike regular headphones or earbuds, bone conduction headphones don’t rely on speakers to create sound. Instead, they use two transducers to vibrate your skull—or, more specifically, your cheekbones. These vibrations find their way to your cochleas, where they’re translated into “sound” for your brain. Bone conduction effectively bypasses your eardrums, leaving them free to hear external noises while you enjoy music, podcasts, phone calls, or other sounds from your headphones.” That is the beauty of this technology: the user hears great sound while still having both ears “open” to hear other sounds of people asking questions, drivers in the street or emergency sirens. The earphones recharge via a supplied magnetic charge cable and operate for 10 hours on a full charge such as overnight or all morning. The unit has dual noise cancelling microphones for telephone call use and everyone says we both sound good when we use them. They utilize Bluetooth 5.1 for compatibility and features with older and newer smart phones and other sources. They recharge to 1.5 hours worth of use in a claimed 5 minute recharge time using a supplied magnetic connection induction charge cable that uses any USB Type A charger for any smart phone we all have at home now. The magnetic cable does not actually plug in so it should last longer than charge plugs that wear out over time. The units is rated at IP-55 which means they are not to be used in a pool (SHOKZ has other models for that) but these can withstand the sweat and occasional wetness from a sudden rain if outside while using them. The sound is very good but please be aware that they will not have the deep bass sound of something like the latest $380 Sony or Bose full ear covering larger headphones. Both my wife and I like them and she is probably going to buy a pair for herself soon. They are easy to put on behind the neck and over the ears and grip the sides of our heads with just enough squeeze but not too tight or painful. They have a 2 year warranty and a headband was included in the box! Highly recommended

All around great headphones
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these for my husband after he kept using our son’s pair. We use them for phone calls, music while working and working out. My husband was even able to hook them up to the PlayStation. The pro pair come with a case so we aren’t worried if we throw them in a bag. Once they have been fully charged we can use them for 2 days at work before the battery starts getting low. Personally I do not like ear buds in my ears or the headphones covering the entire ear. These are great because they sit just in front of the ear and are comfortable for the entire day. Our daughter runs between 2 and 8 miles a day and loves to run with them. She can hear the traffic and listen to her music without worrying they will slip off.
