Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the sound quality, comfort, battery life, open-ear design, fit, bone conduction, and lightweight features of the OpenRun Pro Premium Bone Conduction Open-Ear Sport Headphones. They appreciate the clear and immersive sound, comfortable and secure fit, long battery life, ability to hear their surroundings, lightweight design, and innovative bone conduction technology. On the other hand, customers are negative about the volume, bass, price, connectivity, and microphone. They feel the volume could be louder, the bass is lacking, the price is high, the connectivity is unstable, and the microphone could be improved for better call quality.

The headphones are a good purchase. The battery last a good while. The are comfortable and lightweight to wear when running or just around town. The only drawback, I wish they would get a little louder. Overall, great pair of headphones and interested to see how they continue to improve on this type of technology in the future.

Build quality is excellent. They charge quickly, typically 20-40 minutes for me and hold a charge well. I find them comfortable to have in place all day if needed. I can hear things around me. The sound quality is surprisingly good. They were easy to pair and connect to my phone and TV.

Great for factory with ear plugs

I bought to use in industrial plant with earplugs. I didn't want to use overhead headphones anymore because they literally left an indent on my skull where the headband was. With that said, I consider myself an audiophile so by no means will this impress anybody frankly sound quality wise but I still find it somehow charming. The first thing I did was download the app (unfortunately) to switch it from standard to vocal boost mode and I have been impressed ever since. Even when listening to music I don't switch it back because the one draw back is in standard mode, the bass even with normal talking can tickle my head but with vocal boost mode taking out the lowest of the low end I think this has been fantastic and by far my favorite pair of headphones. In 5 years when this fails, I will gladly upgrade to the latest and greatest. They last 1 and 1/2 shifts for me at 50% volume if you can believe it. Bought these for work but now I use them for everything and they are my go to. I spend $600 on headphones and have been less satisfied. Just be careful if you use earplugs like me because the first day I used them, I had it cranked to 100 without realizing and my ears were ringing like I walked out a concert at the end of the shift. But let me tell you, I was jamming.

    Love the Headphones

I am an avid runner and I needed headphones that could allow me to listen to music/podcasts but also at the same time allow me to hear my surroundings. These bone conducting headphones were the perfect solution. Podcasts sound great and clear. Music does lack the deep base but this is as expected for an open ear headphone. Battery life is great and I can run for about 8-9 hours before I need to charge them again (lower volumes = longer battery life). Overall, I would recommend these headphones to any runner or anyone that prefers to have the ability to hear their surroundings while still being able to listen to music.

Wow, the Shokz - OpenRun Pro Premium Bone Conduction Open-Ear Sport Headphones in Steel Blue are fantastic! They're perfect for my active lifestyle. The bone conduction technology allows me to enjoy my music while still staying aware of my surroundings, which is important when I'm out running or biking. The sound quality is superb, delivering clear and crisp audio every time. Plus, they're so comfortable to wear - I barely even notice them on my ears. The Steel Blue color is also a nice touch, adding a stylish flair to my workout gear. Overall, these headphones are a must-have for anyone who loves to stay active and wants to enjoy their music on the go

First pair of Bone Conduction Headphones. Sound quality better than expected. Over the ear headphones have better sound quality for music but these are much more useful for everything else. These don't fall out like earbuds. The Shokz app didn't work very well but it's not really needed.

Maybe I’m just getting old, but I was getting tired of having ear buds inside my ears and not being able to hear anything else.. These are awesome. The sound is good and I can still be aware of what is around me especially wile running or biking outdoors. And they stay in place during activities.

I have sensory issues due to TBI. These headphones allows me to push out outside noise. (Echos loud distracting music crowd noise etc). Outside noise becomes distant background allowing my selecred playlists to be in the forefront aiding me in focusing on conversations better. i am able to share space and some events that I was unable to share before. Sounds counterintuitive but this is my very real experience. Besides this great benefits the quality of sound is superior to my other headphones. I also like that they are discreatly worn. So when i wear them in public places it doesn’t seem odd. Try them and see for yourself. Charge lasts allday even while continuously using.

These were on sale and I figured I could use them while I am working, so people can still talk to me while I am at my computer. The fit is pretty good and the sound is great. I do have a few complaints about them. First, the charger is proprietary which makes it difficult to charge unless you constantly carry the cord around. The good thing is the case has a spot for the cable. Second, there is only one side button. I constantly reach up to the right side to play/pause but there is nothing there. It is annoying, but not major. The major issue I have is when I go to turn off the headphones, using the Volume Up button, the next time I turn on the headphones it causes the volume to be raised. I like the volume at a certain level so it is annoying when I turn these back on and the volume is higher than expected. A simple update should be able to fix that. Overall, the issues are minor and I am enjoying using these. I do wish they made a larger version so I can rest them around my neck when not in use, but that is getting nit-picky.

One of the best purchases I’ve made in a while. I had an earlier version, before they became Shokz, that was nothing compared to this one. Battery lasts an amazingly long time, I use my headset daily and near constantly. It charges faster than anything I’ve ever had, especially with how long it runs for. I can listen to music overnight and listen to videos, music, and phone calls sporadically through the day. Charge at night again and repeat. Comfort wise these are about the same as earlier versions but because of the new bone conducting tech generation, the sound quality is insanely better than the older ones. Much louder than before. If I decide to wear ear plugs to help me hear it would have to be in a very loud area. Im also a gamer and although I can’t wear these normally along with my headphones for gaming, I can put them behind my ears instead of in front. Doing so, with the over ear headphones and the pressure from them as well, I have no problem listening to anything I want between games.

I'm deaf in my left ear and my wife bought these for me for my birthday after trying them in the store and realizing I could actually hear with the bone conduction in my left ear again, and it doesn't impede my natural hearing in my right ear so I'm still able to hear my environment around me when I listen to music or take calls. I got the pros and my wife got the minis for her birthday and we both use them every day. The battery lasts forever and the sound quality is actually great. Will buy the future models as well, we love our SHOKZ!

Great design, fits comfortably and secure. Great audio, could hear everything in them and things in my surroundings. Mic feedback wasn't great, I always sounded far away or on speakerphone to the people I called.
