They appreciate the clear and immersive sound, comfortable and secure fit, long battery life, ability to hear their surroundings, lightweight design, and innovative bone conduction technology. They feel the volume could be louder, the bass is lacking, the price is high, the connectivity is unstable, and the microphone could be improved for better call quality.

Excellent hardware, disappointing software
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these as have found myself in an open office situation. I need to be able to hear others as well as my phone, but still be able to listen to music, news etc. I am blown away with these. While its not exactly audiophile level, sound is good. They are very comfortable & I can wear them all day with no issues. The hard case is very much worth having as well. These do have an associated app which is where my praise ends. As much as the hardware is a 10, I think a 3 for the software is generous. Unlike my Jabra 7's which can be paired to 6 devices and can connect to 2 simultaneously, these can only connect to 2 and used individually. Connecting is often hit-and-miss and sometimes requires opening the app to connect. If my phone is distant & disconnects I have to restart the headphones to connect. Bottom line is that these are awesome but the software I feel should be much better for this price range. Still worth having though.

Better than the original
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are very similar to the original bine conducting headphones with minor modifications. The only drawback is the magnetic charging port. The charger is unique only to this headset & very short so if you lose it, it's destroyed or forgotten on a trip, you can't easily get a replacement. It also doesn't reach from charger to the top of a table. It needs an adapter or a longer cord & some way to easily get additional charging cords. Otherwise, this set has better sound quality, range, battery life & more easily manipulated buttons than the original. Would definitely purchase again.

Great headphones for active people!
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are the best headphones I’ve had for use when active. I actually have 2 pairs. Sound is great. Fit very comfortable. I forget that I am wearing them. The only negative is the battery life isn’t as long as advertised. I get from 4-6 hours of playtime. Advertised up to 8 hours. I have never gotten more than.

Great purchase!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super light, can hear my surrounding without interrupting what I’m listening to. And you don’t get that sore ear feeling with having your headphones in for too long. Great buy!

Shokz are shockingly great!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are the absolute best headphones i have ever owned. The sound quality is great, they have a long battery life. But as with all Shokz headphones, they allow you to be outside and still hear your surroundings. I recommend these to everyone I meet, mainly for safety reasons. I see people jogging with noise cancelling headphones and they have no idea what is going on around them, These also look cool and you can wear them all day with no ear fatigue.

Can't Be Any Happier!!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Shokz... also have an Opencomm which I use for work. I've gone through a lot of different headsets/earphones/earbuds and Shokz is the brand I'm happiest with. One charge lasts me a whole day without recharging. I bought the Openrun Pro for outside activities because it's not as noticeable as the Opencomm. Sound quality is slightly richer in the Openrun Pro than the Opencomm (but since the Opencomm is for work it's sound quality isn't really that important for me). Best of all, since my ears are not covered, my situational awareness is not as compromised as when I'm wearing earbuds/earphones.

You will love these!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic headphones! I wear hearing aids and wanted a set of open air headphones that didn't require me to remove my hearing aids. I tested these out at Best Buy's display in store. I was really impressed and bought them. I have had them for a few weeks now and am really glad I found them. They are very comfortable to wear, and the battery life is supposed to be 10 hours. They will be real good for bicycling. I do use an equalizer app with them (Wavlet) that really perfects the sounds. Also, they can connect to two Bluetooth devices at the same time! I use them with my computer and my phone.

Shokz review
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love these as they don't irritate the ear at all. Sound quality is great. I have found that is very loud environments it is hard to hear. Overall they work for me, and I would recommend them to other people who have difficulty with the traditional pods..

Great for podcasts and background music
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently upgraded to these after almost 2 years of owning the original Shokz headphones. I became a huge fan of the original Shokz for walking, biking, and doing chores around the house and figured these would be worth trying since they promised longer battery life and improved sound quality. In both these categories, I'm happy to say they deliver! Along with a newer, much nicer, carry case, I was happy to pay the price to upgrade to this new version. If you aren't familiar with bone conduction headphones, I'd strongly suggest trying them out at your local Best Buy. The sound quality is hard to characterize, because they don't operate like normal headphones, so you may want to make sure it works for the kind of listening you're looking to do. For podcasts and background music -- usually classic rock for me -- I've found the quality to be more than adequate.

Best outdoor headphones
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best out door headphones. They do not cover the ears so you can hear every thing around you, but still hear great music sound. They also work great in bed

Slap a soundtrack on the world
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic performance provided your expectations are reasonable. You won't hear every detail in your audio, especially in noisy places, but that's kinda the point - to hear your surroundings and your media. Mic is decent enough for calls, and they're comfortable enough to wear all day (although the band can get in the way of sunglasses).

Lightweight and comfortable - audio could improve
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start by saying these as the most comfortable headphones I’ve ever owned. I constantly forget I’m wearing them, so that’s something to consider if you plan on using these for work or exercising. I have a pair of AirPods Max that were my work headphones but their batteries don’t really last very long and they’re heavy, so I wanted to try something new and I’m really happy with these. Their batteries have been lasting me 2 days of work total, so that also helps. That being said, the audio quality is not even remotely comparable with the AirPods. I did expect a difference, especially considering there wouldn’t be noise isolation or something to seal your ears for bass. These get 5 stars for comfort and 3 for audio quality, so 4 stars average in my opinion.

Great for fitness
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've gone through quite a few different ear buds/headsets for workouts. Most eventually start falling off. When working outside a lot of them have made sunglasses uncomfortable. These have stayed in place every time I have used them and barely even notice them when paired with my sunglasses. These are bone conduction and will sit more towards the temple than inside the ear. They sound a bit different than in-ear buds, but these also allow the ability to hear everything going on around you. If you run or do any workouts in an area where you need to be aware of your surroundings, I would highly recommend trying these.

Fair price decent quality, fits well.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried the mini and initially thought the tighter fit would be better. I ended up getting the OpenRun Pro despite the clearance space behind the head but it turned out to be the better choice for me. When you start sweating the added airspace actually helps. The sound quality is enough for me to use while jogging while still being able to be aware of your surroundings. When you increase the volume and bass, it does start to distort but I'm not that kind of audiophile. I just need to be able to use it for music and the occasional conversations while out and about. After purchasing I realized there are more options out there but Shokz seem to have the best quality (so far) but they also tend to be on the higher end in terms of price. I got these when they were on sale.
