Customers are saying
Customers are positive about the sound quality, comfort, battery life, open-ear design, fit, bone conduction, and lightweight features of the OpenRun Pro Premium Bone Conduction Open-Ear Sport Headphones. They appreciate the clear and immersive sound, comfortable and secure fit, long battery life, ability to hear their surroundings, lightweight design, and innovative bone conduction technology. On the other hand, customers are negative about the volume, bass, price, connectivity, and microphone. They feel the volume could be louder, the bass is lacking, the price is high, the connectivity is unstable, and the microphone could be improved for better call quality.

If you like Bass or loud speakers, read this first
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.THE GOOD ~ Lightweight ~ Hard carry case ~ Decent sound (but with issues) ~ Can hear ambient sounds, conversations when you want ~ comfortable THE BAD ~ proprietary Charging ~ Issue with deep bass and/or loud music OVERALL There are some things to enjoy about these headphones. For some people, they may be great. For others, if they experience the issues I do, they're not so great. These come with a large, hard carrying case, which is nice. I can throw them in my gym bag without worrying about them getting torn up. The Shokz headphones are fairly comfortable. Because they hang over the ear, they don't hurt your ear canals after prolonged usage like some earbuds do. Phone call quality is good. I had no issues hearing or being heard. The first thing I noticed that I didn't like is the proprietary charging. Everyone and everything seems to be going to USB-C. I'm not sure why the designers here decided to go with something completely different. It isn't a deal-breaker for me, but it is annoying to need to have 1,000,000 different chargers/cables for everything because electronics companies want to be different or make more money selling car chargers and such. The sound quality is decent, however, there are issues. Perhaps it is simply my anatomy or a bad pair of headphones, but when I listen to loud music (volume around 40% and higher) or with a lot of bass, I feel like the bones in my face by my ears are vibrating. It's a rather unpleasant feeling. Enough that I wouldn't recommend them to anyone who likes heavy bass or loud music. As someone who spends a lot of time at the gym and running, I like to drown out the outside world and distractions when working out. The vibration prevents me from getting these loud enough for that sometimes. Other times, it doesn't matter. My workout partners like to talk sometimes. With these headphones, I can have the music in the background while maintaining a conversation. I wanted to love these headphones because of the comfort. The fact is, though, I barely like them. I will keep them and use them as a back up pair and for times when I know I'll be chatting or won't want my music too loud. WOULD I RECOMMEND THEM? This is always the true question of an item's value. For me, the answer is, for 1 or 2 out of 10 people, I *might* recommend these, but for the most part, no. I wouldn't suggest someone get these. That vibration is just that bad for me.

Well worth the money!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive had my headphones approximately 2 months and have used them pretty much everyday. Im pleased with the quality, of the sound it gives for all types of music. Im older, so hard rock, heavy metal, or rap are not in my playlist. I love escaping into the music and the sounds each instrument being played, these headphones have that ability to give a clear precise clean sound. making my quiet time so enjoyable

Vety inpressed so far
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound quality is excellent. I wish thr headband was adjustable. Its too big for my head, and thr smaller Shokz is too small…but..its ok. The multifunctional button is very hard to use. You have to physically press the button down, tapping the button doesnt work. I tried answering the phone, but couldnt get the button to work in time. I tried answering a call via my Apple Watch, thinking that itd click over, NOPE. The Shokz application took a while to setup. The application couldn’t find the headset, had to be rebooted several times.

Quality product at a reasonable price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love using these for hiking, running or listening to music at work. The only reason I don't give them a 5 star rating is because there is a proprietary charging cord. My previous version was just charged via USB c and was wonderful! I only had to replace because I lost my first set.

Newer isn't always better
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are tried and true the best form of headphones for me. I just find that these new versions have a lower quality of sound despite being the "pro" version. I would go for the mid-level one next time. The open ear feature of these are irreplaceable for me though.

Hear too things at once
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall nice technology. Since the sound goes through your bones and your ears are open, you can still hear what is going on around you. I use them at work when I have something I need to listen to that I don’t need the people around me to hear. It allows me to still converse with others and hear someone coming up behind me. I also use it for running so I can hear traffic and other runners looking to pass.
