Aftershockz Aeropex review
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Back in 2011 I started panicking about something that some of you may think sounds very silly. I was Pregnant. Initially I was excited and happy. After we had my oldest child- the panic set in soon after when I didn’t feel comfortable wearing headphones anymore. Maybe I’m the only mom this has effected but I highly doubt it. I kept headphones or ear buds in my ears from the time I was 11 until after my first baby was born. Then I realized it’s just not safe. I felt like I could just listen to music on the radio. I didn’t like most of the music that came on the radio. Some music that I listen to has words I’d rather have my child not have to learn until they read it on the bathroom wall in middle school. After our second child I got a pair of nice beat noise cancellation headphones. I’ve worn them possibly 3 times in 3 years. That alone made me so sad. I was not able to have the music in my ears at all without it stopping background noise. My ability to hear my kids is more important to me due to their safety. I decided I’d sacrifice my music for them. Then I read about aftershockz. I am absolutely elated about these bone conduction headphones. No the music isn’t blasting out my eardrums; the base isn’t the BEST. It is the absolute best purchase I’ve made in over 5 years I’d have to say. Every day since I bought them I’ve used them. I can easily hear all background noise without a problem. It’s important that I can hear what my kids are doing- or not doing. I don’t want them blocked out. Finally being able to add music back to my life has been thrilling to say the least. They don’t hear it but I can. I can also hear them. It’s perfect for anyone needing to be aware of background noises. The technology is impressive. I highly suggest the Aeropex series. Great for keeping your ears open.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this pair as a gift. I use my own every day. Battery usually lasts about 8 to 9 hours of continuous run time though it varies on your volume level. These are great if you work in an environment where you are required to be aware of what's going on around you at all times. They are very comfortable for long periods of use and the built in microphones are so good that people never know when I'm on a call using it. These are also a good hearing aid replacement. My father is legally deaf and has purchased very expensive hearing aids in the past but he claims the quality of sound from running these with a passive mic app on his phone is on par if not better than the hearing aids. Plus they're fully waterproof. If you have the money I would definitely recommend a pair of these.

5 star for my purposes, yours might differ
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these for running outside, they are amazing for this purpose. I can forget they’re on my head they’re so light. I can perfectly hear all ambient noise for safety, and get crisp good sound for the music. They also are working very well for phone calls. Now, if you’re looking for running headphones that give clear ambient hearing, buy these. Their strength is also a weakness for other purposes. They block nothing, you hear all ambient noise, and they have weak bass. So if your purpose is like mine, they’re perfect. If you’re looking for something to use on a plane, or metro, or places where you want ambient blocked a little, these aren’t the ones. 5 stars from me though, running and gym duty, and heavy sweat, great.

Most comfortable and safe headphones ever
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love these. The sound is great, and no one around me can hear a thing -- but I can hear my surroundings. I feel safe wearing them when I walk and exercise, and for hands-free use when I'm driving. The button controls are easy to use and to remember/find the right button without removing the headset. The only negative I have is that sometimes, if there's a lot of bass (ie, it's bass not volume) in what I'm listening to, they kind of tickle my ears/skull/head -- in an annoying way. But most of the time, it's like they aren't there. Hands down, the most comfortable and safe headphones I've ever owned.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Headphones – Perfect for Everyday Use! I absolutely love these bone conduction open-ear headphones! The sound quality is excellent, and I really appreciate being able to hear my surroundings while listening to music or taking calls. They’re comfortable, lightweight, and perfect for workouts, walks, or just daily use. I was so impressed that I bought three more pairs and plan to give them as gifts to my family and friends. Highly recommend!

Great for what they do, even if a little pricey.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lightweight and comfortable to wear. Sound quality is better than I expected. Decent battery life considering their size. Like others have said, don't get these if you're into bass, but for background music and podcasts, they are great!

amazing headphones; highly recommend
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was initially very hesitant to buy these – could they really live up to the hype? One of my friends had mentioned that I should pick them up since I am a runner and like to be able to hear in case there are cars coming. Man, these are so, so nice. They are SUPER light. The features with the multi-function button adds all sorts of functionality on the headphones. The battery life is VERY, VERY good, easily 8hrs+. Best of all, I've run in the rain and the snow with these things and they are rock solid – moisture is generally not an issue. I have recommended them to a number of my running friends and they are all super happy with the purchase, too.

Best wireless headset so far
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.comfortable even after hours of usage, doesn't fall off even when running, doesn't tickle ears, doesn't vibrate like its previous models, lightweight, surrounding-aware due to bone conduction technology, good sound quality, and provides real buttons (no touch).

The best of the best
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These by far are the refined product of aftershokz. I have owned the 2 prior generations. The areopex are more comfortable then the prior gens. The areopex are a great improvement from the titanium and the air. I like the way they're more contoured to your head. The conduction heads are more comfortable and feel more stable. I feel the wrap around band has been shortened and refined it doesn’t inter fear With the collar of a jacket as much. The sound has been improved. The conductor heads are less prone to volume vibrations. As of the current model these are the ones to get. The battery life is great. The rating is 6 hrs. I can get a good day in and not worry about running out of power. My phone calls are very good too.

Made for runners that run near traffic
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use my AfterShokz for running because I've had consistent issues with my ear holes getting sweat in them using regular ear buds. These are surprisingly snug and play a good enough volume of music that sometimes I forget I'm even wearing them. PROS Excellent for running and outdoor sports. Lightweight Safe - you can hear most noises around you Don't go IN your ear so you don't get sweat in there Easy to clean CONS Sometimes the audio will go up and down in volume. Not sure what causes it. Hardly no bass so not good for music that sounds better with it. Not sound proof VERDICT If you are outdoors and dealing with a ton of traffic or the potential to be "snuck up on" in a dangerous area - these are good. You get to be hyper-aware of your surroundings. On the other hand, if you are at the gym and just want bass and to hear the loudest it goes - I recommend something else.

I would recommend with certain cautions
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great overall quality and battery usage. Some people said that they didn't get good battery life. I personally charge mine every three days. Now I don't listen to music all day everyday and my phone doesn't ring off of the hook through out everyday. I get consistant usage with the occasional music playing when I'm extremely bored and still only charge every thirday day. Pros: -Great battery life -Small and convenient -Quick and easy charging (also comes with two chargers) -Good microphone pick-up Cons: -Vibration on hear bones is very uncomfortable when volume turned up too high -Wide head people can become uncomfortable on hear bones just below temples from pressure of wearing for too long. -Not good for bike riding phone calls (wind interference is substantial and can hinder both micrphone and audio quality).

Good for driving
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These have better sound than the other models but still lack in certain ways. The volume needs to be louder with better base. The pickups when speaking need to be much better. I’ve been told it sounds as if I’m in a tunnel. The fit is good as is the connectivity. But for the price they should be better.

Amazing Headphones for Running – Comfortable
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m very satisfied with the Shokz OpenRun headphones. The bone conduction technology really works—I can enjoy my music while still being aware of my surroundings, which is perfect for running outdoors. They’re lightweight, super comfortable even during long workouts, and they stay securely in place no matter how much I move.

Great headphones for active people.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are absolutely amazing. I've worn them hiking, weight lifting, on the treadmill, and at work. They stay in place while being active even while wearing glasses. They have great sound for something that does not fit in the ear. They are far more comfortable than something that fits in the ear and are not as cumbersome as a regular set of over the ear headphones. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for headphones that you can wear while active and not have to worry about them slipping or coming out. If you are a basshead these are not the headphones for you. They still do have great sound but for what they fit the bass does not come through like normal headphones.

Comfortable with great Outgoing Call Quaity
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lighter and more comfortable that it’s predecessor, the Trekz Air Titanium, the Aeropex provides multipoint connectivity in a sleek profile. I like the magnetic charging cable, and it actually comes with two so that you can leave one in your car, or travel bag. The outgoing call quality is excellent, and hardly anyone notices that I’m in Bluetooth, unless I’m in an empty room. The vibration is less noticible at higher volumes than the previous model, and its light weight makes it even better to wear for long periods. All in all, it’s great value for your money.

Very surprised
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased after talking to 3 people who had them. I did not know any of the people I spoke with, but decided to give them a try. So happy I did. Very comfortable, not more sore ears from extended wear, or ear buds falling out. The sound is very good and I have not had one person tell me that they could not hear me. For as many calls as I have a day, these work VERY well. Only criticism, and understandably so, is the base is light. But l for these primarily for calls and not to listen to music. I do use them when I walk and the music sounds really good other than the lighter bass. Being able to hear cars coming is really nice Would recommend to others

I love them.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm hearing impaired and a bit worried about earbuds in my ears damaging my hearing even more. I listen to audiobooks all day when I work, but still have to interact with customers from time to time and be aware of my surroundings. When I first heard about these, I was a little skeptical, but hearing is believing! These headphones stay in place with no discomfort, sound great, and I can listen all day with no "ear fatigue." Plenty of battery life and charge quickly. Wish they made hearing aids like this.

Better sound than I expected
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been looking for something that's small, doesn't go into the ear, is comfortable, with quality sound. Initially I had heard that these were great for listening to podcasts and audio books but not so much for music, which was fine with me. Once I got them I listen to an audio book and the sound was great. Next I tried them with music, without much expectation and WOW, I was shocked, the sound was fantastic. Maybe a hair light on the base tones, but nothing to complain about. I know some people are complaining about the loud tone when you adjust the volume. But it's really not much of an issue at. Syncing the Bluetooth to my smartphone was straight forward and connects without fail every time. All in all, I'm very impressed and happy with these Airshokz Aeropex Bone Conduction Headphones
